    Window and door replacement

    The crew arrived promptly in the morning and worked diligently all morning and afternoon. They cleaned up the working areas well. I would recommend Verdun to my friends and family.

    WIndow Replacements

    Verdun was fantastic from beginning to end and were a great support in navigating the rebate program. It was so easy from start to finish! Both of the installers were professional, friendly and efficient.

    Windows

    Very pleasant and hard working contractors. I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship done by the 2 individuals. All was done in a very timely manner. I have no problem recommending them.

    Window renovation

    The guys did a fantastic job. They were very polite and very efficient. They did great at cleaning up after themselves. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Every interaction with Verdun windows so far has been very professional. Thank you

    windows installation

    Verdun Windows installed 7 windows in my house. 4 basement windows and 3 in the living room. The living room windows are situated 20 feet above the floor and the installer, Jonathan Gratton, and his helper had to use 4 sets of scaffolding. They did a great job.

    Window and door replacement

    We recently had several windows and our front door replaced by Verdun. From the start of the process every step along the way has been simple and efficient. Everyone we have dealt with from this company has been timely and helpful. From placing our order with Kailen, to Jason and Reese's super tidy installations, everyone was on time and they answered our many questions with patience and obvious knowledge about their product. As we were replacing windows in various locations in our home, I really appreciated that we were provided accurate timeframes so we could plan for installation day.

    Basement window install

    Basic window install with some complications due to location. Both installers were professional, courteous and did a great job. In and out In 3.5 hours to install all six windows. Great job on flashing and interior trim.

    Sloppy job

    We got all the windows and one patio door installed by Verdun last June. The installation took more than we were originally told because the crew couldn't get our windows in the truck. The initial installation seemed rushed and unprofessional. Out of 3 installers that we had only one seemed to know what he was doing, and the other too didn't know anything at all. After the installation finished and after having paid, we started to find flaws here and there, to the point that we needed up requesting an inspection of the job. An inspector came and wrote down a long list of things to be replaced, some by the service department, some by the installation one. Repair day comes and half of the things that needed to be fixed, couldn't be fixed because they didn't have the material or they had forgotten to order a window. The told us that they would come back in 2 weeks. Those two weeks ended up being a month and again most of the things couldn't be fixed. At this time, the installation crew even broke the window panel of one of the windows that needed fixing So now we have to wait for them to come again to fix the things they couldn't fix and the ones they broke. I have talked to some neighbors about the experience and to my surprise I have discovered that quite a few people have gone through this in the past year. It seems that the company has grown too quickly all of a sudden and out of the crews that are out there some are really experienced and some don't know what they are doing. I know I definitely got the short stick here. I definitely not recommend Verdun.

    Verdun windows and door

    We contracted with Verdun for the installation of 4 windows, a front door and accompanying sidelite, and cladding around the garage. The installation group was punctual, professional and we are satisfied with the installation of the windows and cladding.  Unfortunately, the door installed was not the door that had been ordered, and did not match the accompanying sidelite. We have expended much time and effort trying to resolve this mistake. Our disappointment with Verdun relates to two broad issues: 1- Quality control; and 2- Communication (post-installation). Quality control While Verdun had a representative (responsible for inspection and quality control), visit in the midst of installation, there is no such visit/appointment when the installation is complete.  It was near the end of the installation process that we identified the problem with the door. In the days following the installation, we tried to get the Verdun sales representative to return to our premises to clarify and resolve the matter, and minimize confusion (trying to resolve this through emails had been causing confusion)  In summary, if Verdun wants to ensure that customers are satisfied with the quality of its installation/work, then a Verdun representative (separate from the installation group) should be on site, after installation, and meeting with the client to review the work performed in order to confirm whether there are any outstanding  issues/problems.  Communication - post installation Related to the preceding is the issue of communication, post installation.  In the absence of a post installation visit, there were a series of emails and phone calls with the Verdun sales representatives to address the issue.  The sales representative noted that a rush order would be processed to get the correct door items, at which point the matter was referred to their service group. After a couple months without communication/ contact from Verdun, we followed up with our sales representative by phone to find out the status of our order. She did not respond to our follow-up inquiry. We subsequently contacted the Verdun service department.  The service department indicated that there are supply issues but the new "door" had been ordered (although we had previously understood that both a new "door" and "sidelite" were to be ordered). Again, we said it would be preferable  if a Verdun representative would come to our premises and clarify exactly what is needed and what has been re-ordered. We are still waiting for a Verdun representative to get back to us.  At this time, we are not even certain if the "re-order" is correct. While we understand the issue of supply constraints and the challenges of operating a business in the current environment,  it remains extremely disappointing that Verdun representatives have been unwilling to communicate and follow-up with us about these legitimate concerns and issues.
