2 bathrooms and plumbing in laundry room
Very pleased with the work that was done. We were very happy with the entire team, but want to thank Rene in particular for his work. We were kept informed and asked questions. The workspace was always cleaned up before they left at the end of the day. We are enjoying our two new bathrooms!

Livingroom reno
We can’t say enough good things about Barry Maier at Artiste Renovations. He has an unwavering work ethic and commitment to his customers. We have never hired anyone better. Not to mention a price point that was extremely fair and reasonable. We hired Barry to open up a wall in between the living room and kitchen, electrical work, framing and drywall, as well as skim coated our ceilings. He provided a quote within days of our first meeting and had the job completely finished within a month including an engineer’s report. His tradespeople were fast, efficient, friendly, arrived when they said they would, cleaned as they went and overall did an outstanding job. We are 100% going to use Barry to complete the next phases of our renovations and without question recommend him, in fact we already have. Basement renovation
Barry and his team completed our basement renovation which consisted of completing renovating our unfinished basement. From start to finish everything was clearly explained to us and we were able to completely customise what types of finish we wanted. Barry did ALL of the permits with the City and organised absolutely everything for us. When the renovation started our project manager (Scott) was great to deal with and very approachable with questions and concerns. We added in a few little things like blinds, cat doors etc and nothing was too much trouble to add in. All of the tradespeople were clean and tidy and sometimes you would barely notice people were working downstairs. The quality of the work was excellent and we would wholeheartedly recommend this company to complete renovations. Barry was very open to feedback and even sent back his painter as there were some areas he was not happy with at the end of the project. The renovation took about 2 months from start to finish and progressed very efficiently with limited down time.

Configuring a HUGE master into 2 large bedrooms with a hall
This is our second renovation project with Artiste Renovations. Their workmanship is superb - of special note is the ceiling texture after taking down a wall. You can't tell on the ceiling that there was ever a wall there. With Barry's knowledge he figured out a better floor plan for us that fit the rooms better - leaving it our choice. When they said they would do their best for time - they did. It was finished so quickly.

opening up entrances, hardwood flooring, casings & baseboard
After not having very good luck with 2 other contractors I decided to try Artiste Renovations because of their great reviews. I was not disappointed. Right from the start Barry was upfront and honest about costs, projected time frame, materials etc. This was not a large reno but there was definitely some fussy work in some of the areas. It was Scott from Artiste that did all of the demo, rebuild and finishing work, he was fantastic to work with. I always knew what time he would be there, what was happening that day and he was very helpful with any questions that I had. He truly did an excellent job, and the job site was always spotless. Thanks Scott. I also had the pleasure of working with Wayne (sub) who was a master at repairing and rebuilding the 1940's plaster in the house he exceeded my expectations and was very interesting to listen to. All in all it was a very easy process, Barry and his staff made the nightmare of reno's actually ok. Keep up the wonderful work Barry, you have a very unique company in that you genuinely care about doing the best for your customers. I will not hesitate to do other projects with Artiste.

Bathroom Renovations

We appreciate your professionalism, your patience, and especially your innovative suggestion to relocate the door to the downstairs bathroom. Bathroom Renovations
Barry and his magnificent team of craftsmen at Artiste Renovations & Contracting transformed our old and outdated bathrooms into artistic masterpieces! At every stage of the project the Artiste staff exhibited their professionalism, honesty, integrity and superior craftsmanship. They were always punctual, very respectful of our property (at the end of each day ensuring that the work areas were absolutely clean!) and pets, and completed the renovations of our two bathrooms on time. We received great value for every dollar we invested in our new, beautiful bathrooms. Thank you Barry and staff!

Bathroom Renovation
This was our first bathroom reno so I searched all over internet to find someone that does quality work and was reliable. Well I came across Artiste and I am glad I did. This was a total tear down and rebuild. There were no big surprises like wet moldy walls or floors and the only little surprise was to fix poor ceiling insulation. I was very impressed when they came across a problem they always knew exactly how to solve it. Work was done quickly with very few delays waiting for items and the quality was excellent. I highly recommend Artiste and will be asking them to do other renos around our house.

Main floor renovation
This was our first renovation experience, and after watching too much HGTV, I was a little concerned about dealing with contractors in general. Turns out there was nothing to worry about with Barry and all of the rest of the crew from Artiste. Barry was easy to stay in touch with, responding to emails multiple times a day. The crew is all very punctual, which to me is quite important. Each of the different trades and suppliers that we worked with all spoke well of Barry and his team. Basically we re-did most of the main floor. New cabinets, flooring, appliances, paint, and electrical. We will be looking to use Artiste for the next renovation project.

Kitchen Renovation
Artiste completed a complete kitchen renovation for us this spring which included electrical, flooring, plumbing, cabinets, and other trim-work. Barry was able to effectively estimate the project, provide suppliers and contacts to make all the arrangements necessary to select materials, and provide an accurate start time and finish date. Any questions or issues that arose were answered promptly. All of the sub-contractors on the job were neat, professional, and did quality work. Overall I would recommend Artiste to anyone looking to have a quality renovation on time and on budget.
