After doing an on line quote provided by Becker windows, I thought the price was very good, I became interested in doing the whole house.
Decided to first get another quote from a competitor. The salesman came and suggested that because I have an older home I should go with brick to brick installation.This added an additionl cost to the quote, I wasn't sure if I really needed this extra service, and this made me wary.
Decided to check out becker windows so I visited there showroom on Dufferin Street to view the quality and style of windows they had to offer..
Approximately one week later I made an appointment with Becker Windows and a company representative by the name of Alex came over to give me his estimate.I thought this should be very interesting as I did their on line quote service and it amounted to approx 10K so I thought lets see how close his estimate would be to the on line one that I did..I didn't tell him I did this.
Alex came at the appointed time he appeared very professional and efficient. He explained all of the various designs and features of all of the windows they manufactured. I could tell by the way he measured the windows and spoke about the products he was very efficent, in fact he new from his experience the size of the window before he measured it. I suggested to Alex should I go with brick to brick installation, he said why do you want to waste your money. I said isn't that the best. He said in some instances yes you have to do this however your window frames are in good condition and there is no need to do this. I don't want you to pay for something you dont need. I said what if there is a problem, he stated if for any reason you should have a problem and I am sure you won't we stand behind our products and service.with a written lifetime warranty. I was very impressed.
I mentioned to Alex last year you had a special, in that if I did the whole house you would give me a free patio door. He said that was last year, however I will see what I can do. Alex came through and along with the price which by the way was only a couple of hundred dollars higher that my on line estimate, he gave me a free patio door.
Which by the way the offer was for last year not this year.
We went ahead and made a contract to install all windows. The time line was six weeks from date of order. I was surprised Alex called me on the fifth week and said my order is complete we can install any time that is convenient to you. So the installation was made a week later to appear at 8:00 A.M.
The installers arrived promptly the exact time and date. The installers were very clean and efficent and did excellent work. After completion, all of the old windows were taken away and all debris was taken away. I might mention I am very critical when it comes to workmanship but these installers were the best, I could find no flaw in either the clean up or the installation or the caulking they did around the windows it was all done professionally and with great skill.
Overall I am very very pleased from beginning to end.

I have no hesitation in saying you are one of the best in the business.
