    Plumbing

    I was so grateful to Butler Plumbing for helping us. We had a leak in our basement - of course we found it on the Friday of the long weekend in August. Kevin came that day - fixed it all and gave us peace of mind to go on our vacation. Yesterday we had Travis come and reroute some tubing for us to improve our drainage. Again - excellent service. Knowledgeable professionals. I will use them again for all our needs. Highly recommended - I wrote this review because this is the site I use to find people and in this case it was absolutely correct - great choice.

    Plumbing

    I was in need of plumbing services and called Butler for the first time. Dan showed up right on time, was personable and knowledgeable and had everything he needed with him to complete the numerous small plumbing tasks he had to tackle. Thanks for the good experience.

    Fixing a gas leak

    I called butler plumbing on Thursday, for a Friday appointment (Atco said they had turned off the gas, so there should have been no danger) . I was told to expect a fitter around 10 am, but I would get a call 30 mins before. I did and he arrived at 9.30, brilliant. He assessed the pipes, started undo them, he then turned the gas off (Atco hadn't) and worked his way to the leaky joint. He was fast, efficient and friendly. He re-sealed the joints and soap and flame tested them. All in 1hr 30. Fantastic.

    Dip Tube Replacement, Unclogging Sink

    Had a gentleman named Travis come by on short notice, on a friday at approx 2:30PM. He was fast and efficient. I loved that he took the time to explain to me where my problems were and how to prevent them, and also how to fix them (hair clogging the sink was an easy self fix). He was easy going and friendly to talk to. Very professional, I would highly recommend this knowledgeable tradesman to ANY home owner.

    Clogged drain

    We had the main drain in basement overflowing with water. I called Butler Plumbing this morning and somebody was able to come in a few hours and he snaked the line and thoroughly tested that it was draining before he left. Bryce was the guy that showed up - he was very professional and easy to deal with. I'd recommend him and this company to friends.

    Water Tank Repair

    Our hot water tank pilot light went out and couldn't be relit. We called Butler, they gave us an appointment for the same day. Reasonable fees, the repairman was friendly, professional, and fixed the problem to our satisfaction. Would hire again.

    Water Heater Replacement

    I have to rate this company a 0/10 because I was charged for services I never received. My water heater died on a Sunday, and the guy who came out didn't think to ask me on the phone before he came what type of heater I had. He brought the wrong one, said he couldn't get another one as his sources were closed, and that I owed him for 2 hours labour at emergency rates. He also said it was my fault I didn't tell him the type of heater I needed, but if I knew the types of water heaters out there, I'd probably be replacing my own! A highly disappointing experience

    Steve, I left a message for you. Sorry about this job, this is not how we intend for our jobs to turn out, we want to get you fixed up and your problem solved. Nothing is easy on a Sunday night, and once we got on site we realized your heater was a dual channel vent system which are special order tanks and the current models may or may not fit, in which case other options may need to be explored. Without a supplier open to source a new heater out, this is next to impossible. As courtesy we should have had you email a picture of the tank to us prior. I'm sorry we couldn't help you Sunday night, we made an effort, but because of the style of your heater, it made the process very difficult.

    Sump Pump

    Everything went very well - got a call prior to Bryce leaving the shop - he was right on time (knew what the job was), installed the battery back up sump in a timely and tidy manner, left no mess. Polite, courteous and explained the new setup. Very professional.

    Hot water tank service

    Called them on Saturday at 7am and Dan showed up in a timely manner, fixed the problem, detected a slow gas leak, fixed that and he was super Awesome! Very professional, courteous and I highly recommend them! THANK YOU!

    lots of repairs

    Wow! I had been putting off work because I don't trust contractors. Due to circumstances, I couldn't put it off any longer. Lucky me. I reviewed HomeStars and contacted Butler, Best decision ever. Travis is wonderful!! Everything done and on time..and not expensive either..Thanks
