The service was excellent.The storm drain was shattered..Kevin and Rod were honest and reliable even the secretary Chlesey. Their diagnosis was excellent. I felt at ease and their price was great. I would not hesitate to give them a call. You would not regret it.

I just finished having Kevin install a jetted shower system along with toilet and 2 sinks in my basement bathroom. The service was excellent and the workmanship was very good. They did the work at a reasonable price which as a consumer I also appreciate. I will definitely call them with any other plumbing needs in the future.

Have worked with Paul and Kevin from Butler for a few projects, renovations, etc. I have always been pleased with the work, especially Kevin's. So when the time came to finish our basement plumbing, Butler was my first and only call. All the work was done adequately, although I had to have Bryce come back and move a water line that was originally installed in a silly location. My issue arises with communication and billing. I asked Butler to install a very quiet bathroom fan, which they did. In hindsight, I would have preferred a smaller diameter exhaust pipe instead of the 6 inch monstrosity in the ceiling now. Because of that 6 inch exhaust pipe, we had plenty of frost buildup in the fan housing thsi winter, not to mention the breeze coming in when the wind blows. If I had the opportunity to discuss this with Butler before hand I would have asked for a smaller diameter pipe, even sacrificing performance for that. Oh well, I hope the frost in the fan doesnt cause too many issues long term. The other issue I had was with billing. I was charged a price I thought was inappropriate for the better exhaust fan and larger ducting. This would have been fine if I was given a credit for the fan and ductwork included in the original quote. When I brought that to Butler's attention, I was credited a small amount and then they proceeded to add a "Pick up" charge to the bill. In essence recovering any discount they gave me with pick up charge. The other issue was an hour charge for about 20 minutes of work. Butler did address that to my satisfaction when I brought it to their attention. Overall, their work is fine, but the billing issues are more than a bit frustrating. I have a couple other things I would have liked to have Bryce look into, but was afraid to do so because of the billing concerns. I'm sad to say that sometimes the larger a company becomes, the value of the relationship it has with its customers becomes less and less important. This is the case with Butler.

I had Bryce from Butler plumbing come out to do an annual inspection of our demand hot water system and install a natural gas BBQ line. Great service, knowledgeable and personable. I was extremely impressed with the clean installation of the BBQ gas line. Will definitely call them for any of my plumbing needs. After he did the work, he asked if there was anything else he could check for me. I can't say I've ever heard that from any service. Call Butler, you won't be disappointed.

Rod came out today to clear a plugged up drain in my condo. He called before arriving, came earlier than expected, was personable and easy to work with. I let him know what I had tried and he quickly took a look to ensure none of the pipes under the sink were blocked and that it was farther down the line. He put down a sheet to keep the area cleaned, took about 45 minutes and the sink works perfectly. While nobody enjoys having to call the plumber, at least Butler makes it painless and the guys who show up are pleasant.

I just had Rod from Butler Plumbing complete a service at my home. he was friendly and explained everything to me about the work he was doing. When I asked for a quote on a higher costing tank he was honest and offered to get me a second opinion from his office. A fine young gentleman with pride is his work!

Rod called at 7:30 a.m. and arrived promptly before 8:00 to replace two outdoor faucets and clear a clogged drain. He was courteous, professional and efficient. I was very pleased with his service.

I was very impressed with the service we received from Dan at Butler Plumbing in April 2014. He was on time & was able to determine the problem with our Hot water pressure problem very quickly. He was able to explain what had happened & provided us with excellent tips & advice. It was a huge relief to have someone who has good experience & is very knowledgeable taking care of the problem so quickly. A few months earlier we had someone else come in from another company only to tell us that we required a new hot water tank without really checking things out properly before suggesting we needed a new hot water tank. It’s great to know that there are still reputable companies out there. There is a huge difference in the cost of replacing a hot water tank versus getting the problem of the hot water pressure fixed. It’s sad that there are companies out there that don’t care if they cost people unnecessary expenses. Thanks Dan & Butler Plumbing for the peace of mind. Dan was very professional & knowledgeable. We had a sump pump failure emergency that I noticed late last night when I saw water coming through a crack in the basement floor and checked the sump pump barrel, which was full to the brim, and the pump was not operating. First thing in the morning I called serval companies specializing in this sort of thing. While all were prompt in returning my call, only Butler was able to arrive in a timely fashion. Bryce quickly identified the problem and replaced the sump pump within the half hour, getting the pump working to extract the water that had accumulated. He then proceeded to explain the operation of the system to me and what to watch for in the future. He also recommended a vacuum company that would reliably vacuum the water out of the carpet of our finished basement, to prevent further problems related to water damage. The price was right in line with what I was expecting for parts and labour, but more importantly, the timeliness and and professionalism is what impressed me most. They were a life-safer, with up to 30 more mm of rain in the forecast for today and overnight!
