    Poor service & customer care

    After spending over $15,000 at this business I am unsatisfied with the service I have received. CAS offers competitive pricing that we were very happy with, however, it is poor customer service and untrained staff that destroys its reputation with myself, my friends and family. Our sales representative, Natasha- from the Stoney creek location, gave us the wrong product after explicitly stating we what we wanted. She was not knowledgeable about certain products and unfortunate we suffered from it. She conned us into buying a more expensive version of the product we wanted and purchasing an additional kit (stating it had to be purchased to have the piece for the product we wanted) To our disappointment, both the product and kit came, and it was not what we requested. Had their staff listen, asked questions when they didn’t know or have been trained and educated on their products, we would have received the product we wanted Moreover, when trying to resolve the issue, she put be directly into contact with customer care, and would not take responsibility for her actions. At that point the sale was done, she made her commission. Very disappointing! Following this, I spoke to 3 agents in customer care,and unfortunately, they too are very uneducated and not trained to satisfy their customers. They were not understanding of the issue (which is customer care 101) and they sent me in many other directions to avoid having to do any work to resolve the issue. There is a happy ending to this story but my entire experience was ruined and I will never be ordering from this company again. Finally, when I had given up all hope, I was contacted by Summer- in customer care. She understood my frustrations and didn’t understand why no one had helped to resolve this issue. She was able to switch out the product to the one I wanted and had it delivered 2 days later! A very easy and quick fix! She needs a gold star for saving the day. In the end of the day, you just want people to do their job correctly. If you are a sales rep – sell me the best product for the best price and offer me a deal. If you are in customer care, CARE about the customer and their problem. In summary, Canadian appliance source does have great prices, however their areas of improvement would be 1. To train and educate their staff more efficiently to ensure the customer is getting exactly what they want. 2. Retrain all customer care to actually CARE about the issue and do their best to resolve it. 2 Wait until all products are in to schedule delivery to avoid customers having to take extra time off work and schedule to be at the home.

    Appliance

    Great service .i knew what i was after and the sales person had me in and out in rapid time.i would recommend this location as it is an easy in and out.

    Great service

    I went to CAS to purchase appliances for my new home. I dealt with Ryan Clarkson, he was friendly and knowledgeable. I was very happy with this company and would recommend them to friends and family. They had a good selection of products and competitive pricing.

    Kitchen Reno

    We had a great experience at the store(CAS). Antonio was fantastic. He was able to assist us with a complete kitchen reno. His knowledge, in my opinion, was priceless to our project. He pin-pointed a lot of things we won't need to worry about when our kitchen is ready for all new appliances. Well done... and thank you Antonio. Will post another review ones we take possession of appliances, but so far very satisfied with service.

    Terrible customer service

    Ridiculous customer service - they don't have refunds and you only learn about it after the purchase (when you need it). Prices - just compare to home depot or any other major retail chain, they will be similar and totally worth buying from other places that allow for better and more respectful service. Effectively the company lays down a trap for you to seal the deal and afterwards you're on your own.

    Refrigerator Purchase

    Sam Gunarathnam greeted us and went right to business. He knew all the right questions and listened to our comments and requirements. He immediately showed us several options and left us to decide on our own. I felt that he is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And the price was certainly competitive. Everything that we were told about delivery also was a wonderful experience. On time and efficient. I would absolutely recommend going to this store.

    Knowledgeable sales representative.

    Antonio helped me find the best refrigerator for my apartment, which imposes critical size restrictions to all my major appliances. I am very happy both with my choice, and with Antonio's help in scheduling its delivery. I would recommend CAS and Antonio personally to anyone looking to buy a major appliance.

    Dishwasher

    Great service. Jamie was very helpful and knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable. We were in and out of there quickly and were very happy with our purchase. Definitely recommend this place at 100 Trainyards in Ottawa.

    Damaged Range

    I ordered a range on-line as I needed a quick delivery. The agent was very personable and helpful. The item was ordered and, as promised, I was contacted the day before delivery with a time frame, and the following day they followed up with another call indicating the delivery would be within the next hour. The range was delivered as scheduled. Unfortunately, it was damaged and taken back by the delivery company. I'm waiting for a call back or email to see what happens next. I finally sent their Service Dept. an email. No word by mid-morning the next day, so I contacted one of the on-line agents who advised I should call their Customer Service. After waiting 5 minutes, my call was forwarded to someone's voice mail. I left a detailed message, no call back, no e-mail, zip. Finally, after picking around on the website on my own for about 30 minutes, found out how to reschedule the delivery. I would have to say, good initial service, very POOR follow-up if there is a problem

    Horrible customer service

    Worst company on the planet. Customer service is non existent and uninterested in helping. I was never contacted with my delivery date. Was contacted when they were outside but I wasn't home. They said I'd have to call back and reschedule. I did and they said I'd have to pay again. After a couple hours of being bounced back and forth, they waived the redelivery fee and said they'd send someone out Friday and will let me know beforehand when they were coming. I gave them both of my cell numbers. Friday comes around and the same thing happens. I was never contacted and they are at my door. They said they tried contacting me with a time but the number I gave them was out of service.. I laughed and said 'well, what number did you just contact me on'. They said 'oh, must be a problem with the system' and they said to call back delivery to rebook. I call back booking and they said there's nothing they can do and not I need to wait until next week. This is ridiculous. Oh and they gave me the contact for the escalation team and the persons voice mail says they are out for the next year. Funny because I had a horrible experience with them a couple years ago. I wish I never tried them again. It's not work saving the 100 bucks
