Review from HomeOwner Review left on 11 Apr 2017Rating: 5 out of 5Needed the windows replaced on an older home and was looking for a reliable, quality window supplier. Met Robert (Salesperson) at the renovation show and was quite impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. The window installation went smoothly and error free. The installers were courteous and did an excellent job. They minimized the mess that comes with installation as much as possible (it is an engineered home and they had to cut out the window openings) and cleaned behind their work. Robert and the site supervisor both visited the site on the day of installation to check and make sure everything was going well. I noticed the difference in the windows immediately after install, the house was warmer and outside sound levels greatly reduced. The windows are of excellent quality and I have enjoyed them every day since they were installed. I would recommend Durabuilt Windows to anyone looking for a professional, quality window supplier. Great work guys!Review from Customer of Durabuilt Windows & Doors Customer of Durabuilt Windows & Doors
Review left on 5 Apr 2017Rating: 1 out of 5Good windows. Not-so-good service.
We went with Durabuilt based on their reputation in Edmonton. Their Calgary branch is a completely different story. No-show or late installers. Equipment left on our property. Not small things like tools but their giant ladder. You think they would miss that. Then there was the vinyl snap-in window border (I'm not sure exactly the proper term for it) which fell off shortly after install. And yes, we do have pictures of it. Arranging for a fix has taken several weeks. Things seemed to move forward once we called their Edmonton office. That didn't stop their installers from showing up late today though. I hope the problem was fixed. They said it was. At least they didn't leave their ladder this time. Someone from the Edmonton Durabuilt office needs to come down to Calgary ASAP and make them get their act together so they don't completely ruin Durabuilt's reputation.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Replaced all my windows January 2014. Just over two years later there is a major crack in the bonus room window. Product is under warranty but we have to pay service charge for them to replace it. They guy who sold me the windows told me we needed new ones because our old ones seals were all broken and that's why they were icing over from the inside. Come next winter, guess what?! All of them were frozen from the inside. DO NOT USE DURABUILTReview from HomeOwner HomeOwner
Review left on 2 Mar 2017Rating: 5 out of 5Front and Back Doors
My husband and I are renovating our home and we needed to replace the front/back doors as they were original to the house (front door also damaged from another contractor). We shopped around a lot trying to find a style we liked, which was made difficult due to the fact we wanted a font door width of 42”. We found a few doors from other suppliers, but the prices were really high and they had a very basic door that we didn’t want (front door). We were then extremely happy to find the door we wanted in the size we wanted through Durabuilt in a price range that was not unreasonable! We had a little hiccup for the back door (not enough space for the storm door), but that got all sorted out so we didn’t have to find a different style. The installation went really well, and the doors look great! My husband and I enjoy walking up to our house and seeing the new doors and we LOVE having the 42” door! We have had nothing but great service from the sales person or the installers. We would recommend them to our friends and family.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner
Review left on 27 Jan 2017Rating: 2 out of 5Good windows, terrible after service
We have hired Durabuilt twice. When we hired them the second time we found out that they had botched part of the job the first time. We are now dealing with rust on our newly installed door and Durabuilt is taking little to no responsibility. The sales people that were so attentive before the job won't answer our emails. When we finally get a response it is a dismissive email from somebody's junior assistant. When we continue pushing for resolution, we get messages left on our answering machine asking us to call them back ... but the number they leave is out of service! I would not recommend this company.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I would not recommend this company based on customer service. We had our windows and door installed in the beginning of November. The door we ordered came in the wrong color, there was other service issues such as ripped weather stripping and scratches on material, storm door pieces thrown away and not reinstalled so my storm door flap in the wind, and one was installed but won't close. I paid for my product and installation in full. It is now January and they still have not rectified any of the issues. They even broke a service agreement 3x which I had then write up prior to me paying them in full. I have been patient and given the multiple opportunities to fix these issues and 3 services people came out on 3 different occasions and still not one issue has been resolved. My suggestion spend the extra money for quality customer service, the product is comparable between all companiesReview from Janis Doherty Janis Doherty

We needed 5 windows replaced in our home and had received quotes from a few others. Hands down Durabuilt was the best quote. The customer service was very professional from the first meeting, to follow up measurements to install to follow up. I highly recommend the team at Durabuilt. The windows are incredible and they were able to match our outside trim. Can't wait to get a few more windows done.Answer from pro:

Review left on 19 Jul 2016Rating: 3 out of 5Glass Replaced
We needed to replace the glass in one of our fairly new windows - the customer service was great! Quick response, quick replacement & gave us some new handles because the current ones have cracks in them already. We had a nightmare of an experience when we bought the windows but the customer service in this area offered them some redemption from me.Answer from pro:
Thank you for your feedback Sally, it is greatly appreciated! I am happy to hear you have received great customer service from us! Please do not hesitate to contact our head office if you need help with any future projects.

Replaced all windows and doors in our house, including the basement windows. Had 3 companies come by to quote and Brad the sales guy we dealt with felt like a normal person that could be your neighbor, easy to talk to and answered all of my questions promptly over the phone or email. We took almost a month for us to decide and there was no pressure to make a decision right away with Brad Mentioned this was our first time replacing windows and wanted to keep the cost down as we are looking to sell our home next year. Durabuilt and All Weather has close to the same quotes, but Durabuilt upgraded to triple pane for no extra cost. Installers were professional and we were impressed with the finishing. 1 month after the windows and doors have been installed there have been no issuesAnswer from pro:
Thank you very much Zac! We are very pleased to hear you have had a great experience with us. We will pass on your praise to Brad and our Installation team! We look forward to hearing from you for any future projects you may have!

Review left on 26 Jun 2016Rating: 5 out of 5Replace broken window pane
I had one cracked window pane (sealed unit) that I wanted replaced. It was the outside (fixed) part of a sliding window on the 2nd floor of our home. I called and they were so helpful. I received excellent service on a very small job. They sent someone out to measure the size of the sealed unit required, and then came out and replaced the window. On both trips the men who came were very professional and left the place looking cleaner than when they came. They came when they said they would. I couldn't be more pleased.Answer from pro:
