We moved from a condo to a home in late November and everyone at Actionmovers was very helpful. We liked that it was no frills and there were no sales gimmicks and that they gave what we thought was a reasonable estimate of how long the job would take. All in all, it took about 5-6 hours to move and there was no excessive breaks of any kind. Our movers were very efficient and professional and they took special care with our things. We especially liked that we didn't have to "buy" all our boxes. They will rent you the boxes and return the full amount to you if you return all ofthem. Definitely recommend!

Bill was very efficient in his email correspondence. We never had to wait long for an answer and he always addressed all our concerns. From the beginning we felt comfortable with Action Movers, esp. they came recommended from two colleagues as well... On the day of the move, Garett and Adam were our movers. Both were very friendly and helpful. They brought all the gear (we moved on a very snowy/muddy day and the floor coverings were very helfpful) and both were very careful with our items. Everything was stored and strapped properly in the truck and delivered safely to our new house without any damage. We would certainly use them again for our next move (which hopefully will not be soon ;-)

Action Movers helped me with my move on Nov.15th 2010 and they were AMAZING! Reliable local boys, also affordable and efficient!! They showed up on time, always smiling and very friendly. Adam and Ilya went above and beyond, i thought i wasnt going to get everything to fit into the truck and they worked some magic. I heard they won an award for being amazing movers and now i know why. I heard an ad on the radio for Action Movers. I then obtained an estimate with them via telephone from Bill, who was very helpful and professional. He was able to help me very early in the morning, which was an added convenience. Garrett and Adam were my movers. They were friendly, efficient, and far surpassed my expectations in terms of the extreme care and attention they paid towards preventing my items from being damaged. They had the convenient option of portable wardrobe boxes and shrink wrapping of furniture, and they did not require dressers to be emptied. All of this saved me a lot of packing time. Mark from their home office was also very helpful in giving me a discount to make up for a total cost that was higher than the orginal estimate I received. I had contacted him to organize a payment option, but instead, he offered to adjust my bill. I was surprised and impressed at the work ethic and integrity of all employees, from Garrett & Adam in the moving truck, to Bill and Mark from the main office. Moving is a huge undertaking and can be an exhausting and stressful experience. However, with such a great team assisting me, my move went unbelievably smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Action Movers to anyone who is moving, and I would definitely use them again myself, should I ever choose to relocate in the future. I found Action Movers through a moving supply company I bought some supplies from. I had been searching for movers online at Craigslist and other referral websites, and just didn't seem to find the right fit. They were either overpriced, or did not have insurance. I called Mark, and he went through the move details with me, and provided me with his insurance papers. They provided me with extra boxes and wardrobe containers for our move, and the movers themselves were quick, efficient and careful. We did have one piece of furniture that was inadvertently scratched in the move, but when I called Mark about the issue, he scheduled someone to come over right away to repair the mark. These guys are great, and you can tell by their customer service that they take pride in their work. Thanks for the great move! Dale & Laura

Hello, I called yesterday to give positive feedback about my move, and I just wanted to send something to you in writing. I had a very good experience with your company. I was warned by others not to book with a moving company that has an hourly rate, but to get a flat estimate up front, as slow workers can cost you a lot of money. Richard and Paul were not only friendly, but very fast, completing my move very quickly; thanks to their efficiency, I wound up paying less than I had anticipated. Between March and May we had Action Movers assist us with a household move from the British Properties to the West End. It was a challening move of a big household to an apartment and it could not have gone better. 250 boxes of fragile items, furniture, and items to several locations. We were so impressed with Action Movers. Always on time, they hussled, and dealt with the very challenging driveway up the side of the mountain! We have had experiences with many movers and have never met a company so professional, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them for any move. If you want it done right, on time, on budget, choose Action Movers.
