I was out of town when my partner called Enbridge due to a suspicious smell. Eventually our furnace was condemned by Enbridge. My partner called LB since we had a sticker on the ductwork from a previous service visit. LB sent someone very quickly to inspect while I spoke to my brother , a former contractor, about options. Ted and his team were able to install a Trane, one of the brands recommended by my brother. LB installed a smaller furnace than had been previously installed by an unscrupulous salesperson upselling us in mid-February with no heat. We had had the furnace moved subsequent to that to eliminate a lot of ductwork. At that time, the furnace had not been properly vented, causing some of the issues for which it was condemned. My partner is highly sensitive to odours and very concerned about CO poisoning. Ted, Brenda and his team were very helpful and sensitive to her needs while I was away, which I greatly appreciated. They called several times to maintain contact and ensure all was okay. The furnace was installed one day after the initial service call. It was tested and calibrated. Ted, the company owner, came out to ensure all was done properly. They even resolved other issues with gas lines tagged when the furnace was shut down at no extra charge. The next day, our new, rented water heater stopped working. It may or may not have been due to the work the furnace installers had done, and I could have called Enbridge to come and resolve it, but Ted insisted on coming out himself to resolve it, which he did within about half an hour. Overall, we felt that Ted, Brenda and the LB team took care of us, answered all our questions and concerns, did not take advantage of us, knew what they were doing, and sold us the right product for our home. Old school service from a local family business is hard to beat.

LB heating installed new furnace and a few months later let me know about a deal for a new humidifier. Customer service is excellent (they went above and beyond when there was a problem), were always available to answer questions, did a good job and cleaned everything up thoroughly. Would definitely recommend them.

I hired Lb Heating and air conditioning based on the reviews in Home Stars. Their service was prompt and reasonable in cost. I would happily use their services again. They quoted a price, installed the new air conditioner and did it with a minimum of bother. I would happily use their services again.

I've used LB since 2002 when I moved into the neighbourhood. They've done three installations (2 AC and 1 furnace) along with annual service. They're professional and accessible, and stand by their work - amazingly easy when it comes to parts & labor warranties. Highly recommend if you want to build a relationship with an HVAC company.

With LB I purchased and installed a Fujitsu ductless mini-split AC system. Was pleased with the service I received throughout the process, and the AC is working wonderfully so far this summer.

LB Heating has provided my 100+ year old home with air conditioning and heating installations & service for over 20 years. They’ve installed ductless & forced air a/c systems, a high efficiency boiler and, most recently, two replacement hot water radiators. Old houses can be very problematic but they always find a way around any design or installation hurdles. The workmanship from staff is excellent.

Furnace went out in late January 2019, on the first of the three coldest nights of the year. Our existing furnace needed a major part, and I'll never forget how our previous contractor said "ok the part should be in early next week" (five days later) and walked out the door into the -23C weather without so much as a care in the world. Fortunately someone suggested LB and they came later that same night. We determined it was time to replace the old furnace with a high-efficiency model, and the work was completed the next day.

We have a fantastic solarium at the back of the house. It is connected to our kitchen and is the focal point of our home. However, it was very costly to heat in winter (electric heaters) and impossible to cool on those hot summer days. LB Heating came over and provided good options to make our space liveable.
