We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our basement and our friends rave at the transformation. Thank you. First of all thank you guys for great job done on my basement. From the first day to last day, you can just tell how professional and thoughtful Eli is. Just amazing. Quality of work done by Omar and crew is very very satisfying. Through out the renovation, Omar kept asked my opinion and explained things I don't know in very clear and easy way. A big thanks to Ben and the staff at The Home Improvement People for the completion of our bathroom ensuite. From the initial consultation with Ben, to the finalization of the plans with Gerhard and the remodeling oversight by Nicolai and the rest of the team, we were extremely pleased with their professionalism, promptness, respect for our home and the quality of their work. They were very open to working with us, offering their expert advice and valuable suggestions as well as listening to our requests. The end result is a beautiful ensuite that we enjoy every day. I would not hesitate to recommend The Home Improvement People to others. We plan on using them for our main bathroom remodeling coming up soon.

We needed to change the kitchen as well as the floors from the front foyer to the kitchen. This included the hall, the mainfloor powder room, and the laundry room. The reno included new cabinetry in the kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom as well as installation of new fixtures and appliances. I was impressed with the quality of the work as well as the pleasant professionalism of the workers. Each of the people that I worked with from the designers to the clean up crew listened and made every effort to work with me to achieve the best results.

Home Improvement People have done 2 bathroom renovations for us in the past 8 months. In both cases the quality and attention to detail from Gerry surpassed our expectations. We often hear stories about renovations riddled with delays and excuses. Not so with the Home Improvement People. Gerry started on time and continued every day until the project is completed. The job site was kept clean and very well organized. Any potential issues and recommendations were presented in a proactive manner with an end result of no surprises. For us, we wanted top notch workmanship completed in a timely manners without delays so we could minimize the impact on our household. I'd recommend these guys all day long! Initial Quote: Dan (owner) no hard sell but genuinely reassuring.... provided us a clear professional contract that came in mid-range very reasonable and detailed. It made for a great impression! Project Manager: Elia, AWESOME GUY! If it's humanly possible he'll make it happen. He make setbacks disappear and solutions come to life. Elia's phone is one all the time and we never waited more than 20min of a reply. He always went that little bit over and above. Site Manager: Christian, SKILLED & TALENTED he was here with Danny (hard working and efficient) everyday making sure all went smooth and on time. Their work is of superior quality they were always considerate of our needs and usage of the space.... they took no shortcuts, infact they'd make alterations & changes to better the project. The Crews: Hand selected LICENCED TRADES come to focus on what they do best! Inspections and warranties were all provided to us. No Jack of all trades common handymen here! A BIG THANKS TO ALL of YOU for top notch work! When we started out our main floor & kitchen renovation, we knew we wanted to knock down walls and create a more open concept kitchen and dining area for entertaining, but we didn't know where to start, and didn't have a vision. After receiving a few quotes, it was clear that The Home Improvement People not only provided the most detailed and trusted quote breakdown, but also the most help when it came to laying out our plan. We ultimately took down 2 walls, flipped our kitchen & dining room, replaced all hardwood flooring, cabinets, appliances, etc., and also water-proofed the exterior of our home after some previous flooding issues. Throughout the planning process and the actual renovation, our main point of contact, Larry, was fantastic to work with. He was always quick to follow up, and the entire project - quoted to take about 2 months to complete - stayed almost exactly on schedule. If we had a question or a concern, Larry always addressed it quickly by laying out our options on how to proceed. We're absolutely thrilled with our renovation - it's been life-changing in terms of the space we have and our ability to entertain in the kitchen! The quality of the work - from structural to electrical, to custom cabinetry is fantastic. The only reason for not a completely perfect rating, is that we've had some issues with the flooring separating post-renovation. Still, The Home Improvement People and their flooring vendor are working diligently with us to make this right, even offering to replace it entirely at no additional cost. As an aside, months after the renovation, when we had a burst pipe in our house after a cold spell on a stat holiday and couldn't secure a plumber to help us for at least 2 days, a quick call to Larry resulted in a plumber at our house within the hour and the problem fixed - we couldn't be more appreciative of the level of support before, during, and after our renovation! We just recently finished our basement reno with the home improvement people. From the day they started to completion we felt we were in good hands. The basement was always clean and Elia was always available to walk us through progress or any questions we may have had. Him and his crew were an absolute delight to have in our home and we will definitely be reaching out to you guys again when we're ready to do our washroom.

Mien and Manuel were extremely professional, efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation to contact the Home Improvement People for future renovations. The project manager Larry was the one who was very helpful. Their prices are competitive and I definitely received what I paid for.
