    Well done

    I was very upset that the shower I had done 3 years ago was leaking. The water dripped through the downstairs ceiling and I had to redo the job all over again. Jerry did a fabulous job and he was here early every day. The work was done on time and it was pleasant to deal with this company. Haydee answered all my questions, reassuring me that this time the job would be done properly. Charlotte was very helpful choosing the tiles. I highly recommend this company and would use them again for home renovations.

    Comprehensive Review of Home Improvement People’s work on Project X (Sept 2015 to Dec 2015) “Project X -Part 1”

    It gives us great pleasure to write this three part review series on, “the home improvement people,” following the completion of their extensive and excellent renovation of our 8000+ sq. ft home; titled for the purpose of the review series as “project x.” The first phase (interior renovation) of this project took place from September 2015 to December 2015. Home improvement people (HIP), will complete the second phase (exterior renovation) in the spring of 2016. First, my wife and I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to the HIP team. We very highly & especially recommend Elia Touma (Project Lead) and Narvin Charan (Site manager & coordinator) & their team of trades & subcontractors to anyone seeking to complete any renovation project (big or small). They executed our project with the highest level of professionalism, time management, customer consideration, flexibility, and patience. They delivered a high quality renovation product and they were acutely sensitive to our budgetary & cost considerations. We are very happy clients/customers indeed!!! It was a pleasure to have them on site for over three months, working tirelessly to deliver on our home transformation project. In this series, I would highlight some areas of interest (for us and other potential clients/customers) that we believe made HIP (Elia & Narvin’s team) truly stand out in what they do. Stay Tuned!!     Kitchen & Ensuite Shower Renovation

    Our entire experience with the Home Improvement People was exceptional from beginning to end. Our project leader Larry and the team were always professional, respectful, patient and always accessible. Friends had warned us about their renovation experiences and we thankfully experienced none of the delays and problems that we were warned about. Any delays that we experienced were caused by us alone. Both my husband and I have sung their praises to our friends and co-workers and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a high quality renovation. We are looking forward to phase II of our renovation in the new year!!

    Shower Renovation

    Renovations in a condo is never easy but Mien and Manuel were extremely professional, efficient and courteous even with the headaches of small workspaces and negotiating the elevator to carry tools and supplies. And all for a very fair price. I would have no hesitation to contact the Home Improvement People for future renovations.

    Main Floor Renovation

    We hired The Home Improvement people to do our renovation. We had our whole main floor gutted and redone. Put in new wood floors, lighting and kitchen. We had a wall removed, redid the powder room, stairs and replaced all baseboards and added crown molding. We worked with Charlotte on the design and ran to her whenever we needed help deciding on colors or styles. We did not stay in the house during the renovations and left everything up to our project manager Larry. He was always available and always quick to respond so there was no concern leaving the house unattended. Workmanship was outstanding, we are very happy with the finished work. The floor looks better than when we bought the house new.

    Main Floor Renovation

    Elia, Orhan and Nicolai did a really fantastic job on the main floor renovation. They let us know right away when they encountered any issues and the options. There were some items that my dad pointed out when he walked through the place and Elia & guys fixed the issues right away. The front porch with the new brick supports looks good as does all of the main floor. They also did some work in the basement, which also turned out quite well. Elia was always available for questions and was the go to person for any issues. Orhan & Nicolai always took the time to explain things and definitely took pride in their work. We are very happy with the results and will call Elia and The Home Improvement People the next time that we need renovations done.

    Emergency Repairs

    I am the director of a non for profit elementary school. The school is in an old building. Recently some pipes burst and there was water damage throughout. Drywall and trim required repair. The floors had to be redone. Dan came out within two hours of my phone call and moved things around to accommodate us for a start date. The work proceeded as promised and the quoted amount did not go higher. Having hundreds of kids running around water laden hallways and classrooms was not fun and we are thankful that Dan and his crew were able to get us back to regular routine so quickly and professionally. Thank again.

    Bathroom

    Sorry guys that it took me a few weeks to write this. This is our second project using The Home Improvement People. They just made it easy for us. Helped us with a custom vanity. Helped us choose all the finishings using an interior designer that they didn't charge us for. Vince and I are so happy that we have a company that we trust for our renovation needs. Their prices are competitive And you definitely get what you pay for in this industry. We have had previous nightmare stories before we found The HIP. Thanks again. Vince and Angela

    refinish basement

    I had approached numerous companies to give me quotes to renovate my basement. Some companies made appointments and never showed up. other companies quoted double the price. when I met Dan he was polite, and knowledgeable. He showed up on time. His quote was clear and concise. He was half the price and took half the time to finish the job. Dry-wall, plumbing, electrical and painting-he did it all. he called everyday with updates. Thanks Dan for a great job. Dan's my man!

    Kitchen Reno

    My wife and I just finished a kitchen renovation with The Home Improvement People. The experience was great. Their receptionist was very helpful booking an appointment to get the initial quote and we were so happy to have Ben come out and look at our house. Ben came out a second time with his project manager Larry and we felt very comfortable hiring them and trusting them into our home. The trades we very easy to deal with and the job ran smoothly from start to finish. We look forward to our next renovation and would strongly recommend The Home Improvement People.
