    installation of replacement windows

    Over a little more than 3 days, LongLife's team of installers dramatically transformed the appearance of our house. Their meticulous attention to detail, efficiency and cheerfulness was wonderful to experience. My wife and I were very happy to work with the team members all of whom went out of their way to help us adjust to the installation work. We cannot say too much about our satisfaction with the final product. The windows look superb, the drafts we had from the original windows are all gone, the house is warmer and far more comfortable in winter. We anticipate that the easy opening windows and screens are going to make hot summer days much more livable too. Our '10' rating is not an exaggeration.

    New French Doors

    Yesterday the team from Long Life Windows and Doors arrived ON TIME to install our new French doors. They came very highly recommended and I was not the least bit disappointed. The entire process from beginning to end was seamless. They were professional and courteous and everything was cleaned up before they left. I could not have asked for better service. The doors are beautiful and we are VERY pleased.

    Entrance way door and side panels

    I cannot say enough about the experience I had with Long Life! From sales right through to the install and after job follow-up was the best reno experience I have ever had. Especially the installer who did an amazing job in only 8 hours. He was friendly, answered and explained, and clean up really well after he was done. I was bracing myself for problems as that has been my usual experience during renos but Long Life were problem free and excellent. Great job. Would absolutely hire them again and recommend to anyone.

    Another satisfied customer

    We choose Longlife because we wanted to utilize a company that would address any issues - whether product related or installation related. The installers (Randy and Cory) are craftsmen and they went above and beyond what was required in a couple of instances. With the new windows and doors our place is quieter, cleaner and feels more comfortable/efficient. Longlife, may not be the cheapest provider, but we feel that they offer a quality product, with quality installation and all backed up by a lifetime guarantee.

    27 windows and one door!!!

    I can't believe Josh, Alice, Curtis and Peter worked so efficiently and professionally while installing our windows. We are in a two story townhouse with all the windows on the second floor with two huge windows that go even higher. They had the proper equipment and the expertise and the job went so smoothly it is hard to believe it is over. Every step of the way they were protecting my home and cleaning up after themselves. They just left and except for the beautiful windows it is impossible to tell that they were ever here. Cudos to all of them for a job well done!!

    Windows replacement

    This company is a pleasure to work with! The windows are great quality and a major upgrade to prior windows. Kris was 100% correct on his advice for what would work best for our house. Our house is tricky and so is the access and location. Our installation team (Josh, Curtis, Alice & Peter) were fantastic: friendly, professional, efficient, FAST, and all seemed to really enjoy their work. What a treat! Thanks to everyone at LLWD.

    Excellent service

    The team at Long Life Windows & Doors was nothing less than exceptional to deal with. Our windows look great and the quality and workmanship is outstanding. I would highly recommend them and will use them again for any future projects.

    Quality degraded compared what it was 3 years ago

    To be short: they do professional job; yet in the crew of two Randy and Cory, the last one has apparent trend to make some mess: leaving litter after work, cutting wallpaper inside the house while pushing old windows, catting wood inside the house and wiping the dust behind the sofa. Randy is a good old school, while Cory has to be watched as his grim and spark in his eyes is not sincere. I found the communication with the company as difficult; office makes mistakes and wrong claims as to the contract wordings, the crew looked exhausted and I believe they sacrifice job quality and their well being in that rat race to get as much orders as possible regardless their normal labour force capability. I questioned these as shortcuts to co-owner Paul yet he was not interested to follow once he got my money. So folks watch Cory then you may get all done well as advertised. Cory seems believing he knows where he can puts less efforts to make things done very well.

I did speak to Randy and Corey who were fairly surprised to read this as when they left site and did the walk through everything seemed to be completed to your satisfaction. As you mentioned this is our second job for you, and both done by the same crew 6 years apart, Randy and Corey have always been very detail orientated and ethical people or we would not have them working for us. With regards to your comment of wrong claims- credit card processing fees have a cost of 2%, in an effort to give you the best price we gave you the 2% discount and marked that on the contract- "payment to be made by cheque only" this was approved by you, however, you called when the job was complete and after a brief phone call I agreed to take credit card at no additional charge for you. If there is more to the "office making mistakes and wrong claims" I would enjoy to know the specifics so we can make an attempt to not leave others with the same feeling you have. Lastly, with regards to Paul, I have spoken with him, and much like Corey and Randy were surprised to hear of your displeasure, Paul had felt he had went the extra mile, which included driving you from a doctors appointment back to your house prior to his meeting with you, along with subsequent site visits by our other team members to ensure openings/sizing etc. Paul does usually like to do a walk through when things are completed, however, he wasn't able to get by and had no indication or opportunity to try and make this right for you. We pride ourselves on our post-installation customer service: if there are any outstanding or new issues with any work we have done for you, please let us know and we will do all we can to make it right. Again, we value your feedback and have had meetings with each team member to review your points. We stand behind our team members, workmanship and products.     Sliding door replacement

    Needed to replace an old wood framed 35 year old sliding door on living room side that faces a noisy road. LLWD offered a great product with a lifetime warranty. Installers were on time and quick and polite. Door looks amazing and the difference is life changing. Thanks LLWD - will buy again and highly recommend!
