    Vinyl Windows

    Kris and his team at Long Life installed new windows in our home in January 2019. Kris's initial consult was extremely helpful and it was obvious by how knowledgeable he is that he is very experienced at understanding what windows are most appropriate for each style of home. When the installers, Shawn and his team showed up they were awesome. Very courteous, extremely fast and very considerate. It was clear that the team of installers has also been doing this for a very long time. We have two small children and at the end of each day, Shawn and his team cleaned up their work spaces and left our home habitable and safe for our family in the evenings. On a side note, cheaper options were available however, when you look into the questionable alternatives - quality of windows, knowledge of sales peoples, experience of contractors - the savings just aren't worth the headache. We have absolutely no regrets working with Long Life. Since we have a lifetime warranty...we probably won't need Long Life again for a while...without hesitation though, I'd recommend Long Life Windows and Doors to anyone and everyone. I also later found out that two other colleagues in my office have used Long Life as well for their homes and they were similarly very impressed.

    Window installation

    The process from purchasing to installation was a great experience. The on-site team was great and were good to ensure that the area was left clean at the end of the installation. Also really appreciate the teams willingness to explain some of the details about the installation

    Another high quality job!

    If quality work matters to you Long Life is the way to go. Right from the outset they were great to deal with. Blaine helped us figure out a solution in our new home. Zooey was great to work with scheduling and then Josh, Alice and Curtis did an incredible job with the install. This work included moving the wood siding from under the dining window over to the newly raised up kitchen window. It was tricky but the result is outstanding! They were on time, kept the site tidy & were highly professional throughout. This is my 3rd time using Long Life for projects and I would 1000% recommend them.

    Window Replacements

    I would like to commend and thank all at Long Life Windows and Doors for the excellent service, right from the first phone call to schedule an assessment and quote for the job all the way to the final and meticulous clean up when the project was completed. To a person they were all courteous, professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. And we could not be happier with the new windows - they look spectacular, and they are performing just as promised. The street noise has all but vanished, and the bedrooms on the sunny side of the house are noticeably cooler. We would especially like to acknowledge the excellent work of the installation crew. Shawn is a perfectionist who gets it right the first time. No need for any do-overs with him in charge. I appreciated that he took the time each step of the way to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it and he happily and patiently answered my (too) many questions. Carl was also a pleasure to work with. We were impressed with how he respected our home, detailing the windows and doing a thorough job of cleaning inside and out at job’s end. Leaving nothing to chance, both men took time to demonstrate how each style of window (casement, awning, slider) functions with a view to easing any future cleaning or maintenance. This window installation was the first in a series of home renovations we expect to do over the next couple of years. Long Life has truly set the customer service bar high for the other contractors who will follow. Larry and Alice

    Replacement of ALL windows and doors in our home

    I was super pleased with not only the quality of the windows but also the installation team! The windows make our home look amazing; giving our home a fresh new facelift! The installation team is the best we have had for any contracting like services. Josh, Alice, Curtis and Shane are super stars!! :D . They were polite, super nice and went the extra mile to do things right and help me out. They communicated well on their schedule, and which rooms they would be doing every day so i could prepare in advance, not that I actually needed to, as they were more than happy to moves things away from the work area so that they could work. They also cleaned up every day, with vacuuming and floor polish!! Thank you so much for your amazing service!

    Window Replacement

    Preston and Peter did an amazing job replacing all of the windows in our oddball, 1950s home where nothing was standard or straightforward. Super personable guys, hard working, and great quality. Hope to see them again on future projects!

    70% of our windows/patio doors replaced

    Initially I contacted longlife (and 3 other companies for quotes) to replace a couple patio doors. From my initial contact with Zooey and Paul to home consult with Paul I knew LongLife was the place for us! It only got better from there. Paul was patient and prompt when I made changes to my initial request and they were able to accommodate my hopeful install by date. The crew of Shawn and co were amazing, very knowledgeable and obviously took great pride in their craft. There was some additional sealant needing to be added to a part of the house that gets very hot. Shawn came out the very next business day to inspect and address it- I was amazed at the responsiveness- thank you! We LOVE our windows/doors and I can’t wait to complete the remainder with Longlife in the next year or two.

    Windows and Doos

    First i like to thank Paul, Bernard, Josh, Alice, Shane, Curtis and Matt for a professional and positive experience. This is my second time using Long life windows but this time changing out 35 windows and 3 doors on my personal house. Most importantly the windows where installed properly with limited amount of mess after each day and our family has already noticed our house feels cooler during hot sunny days! If you are looking to change a few windows or upgrade a custom house you are in good hands with this company. Thanks Gerry and Aileen

    All home windows installed

    The team of Preston and Peter from Long Life installed all the windows of our 1960's home in East Van, originally we only wanted the 3 front windows and were going to wait until the following year to do the rest. We were absolutely blown away by their professionalism, friendliness and knowledge. The windows at the front looked so amazing we couldn't wait, and booked the rest of the house literally the next day. Great job Long Life, highly recommend!

    22 windows and 3 patio doors installed

    We had 22 old aluminum windows and 3 patio doors to replace. Research came down to Long Life and another similar company and product - both similar in price and professionalism. After choosing Long Life our experience was: Paul spent time explaining options for windows at our building, and when we visited the showroom to see samples. He was patient when we asked questions and made changes after signing the order. Shawn and Carl were the install team. Both friendly, polite, good spirited and hard working. Shawn was very, very capable. He laid out his plan at the start of the day but happily adapted to our needs. He converted a door to a window with filler underneath with quick and excellent workmanship. The team was careful to protect floors and cleaned up really well at the end of each day. The one minor quibble was between ordering and starting the instal. Got an email from Zooey saying they planned to install for up to 4 days the following week. It didn't fit with our schedule and we had expected they'd check with us before planning. However she easily made changes to fit our schedule. The people at Long Life are professional, friendly, informative, have excellent and careful workmanship, and take time and effort to make the customer satisfied. Highly recommended.
