Window and door installation/replacement
Contracted Long Life Windows and Doors to replace our old windows and doors. After twenty years several of the seals had failed on our windows, traffic noise was becoming more noticeable and front doors were showing their age. Everything from quote to clean up was excellent, nothing less. The windows delivered on UV and noise reduction, the doors are solid and look great. We use many contractors for our business so have an idea what to expect from workers/crews. Josh and his crew were absolutely fantastic, would welcome them on any job. Professional, polite, friendly and very hard workers. They went the extra little bit on every step of the job. We really appreciated this and their attention to detail. Many people have complimented how good the doors and windows look. In summary, if you have windows or doors that require repair or replacement you can't go wrong with Paul (owner) and his crew lead by Josh. Robert and Jacqui

Replaced garden window for a regular window and a new sliding door
Long life Windows and doors is a great company I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to replace windows or doors. The quality of the product as well as the installation is top notch. Everything was done in a timely manner. Most of all everyone is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely use them again for my future window replacements.

Window Replacement
Our old aluminum windows were fogging up and needed to be replaced. After considerable research we took our business to Long Life and were delighted with the result. From the beginning we had a good feeling about the company, getting good advice on all the different options from Paul so that we had the optimum outcome. The installation by Preston and Peter was extremely efficient, and their professionalism showed in the care they took with all aspects of their work, including great clean up at the end of each day. They dealt with some tricky problems with skill and good humor, worked very hard, and stayed late on the final day to finish the job for us. The new windows have transformed our home, upgrading its appearance and it and making it considerably quieter and more comfortable. All of this at a very competitive price. We have another couple of upgrades in mind, and will certainly use Long Life again. And we will happily recommend them to friends and family.

Patio sliding door replacement/install
My patio sliding door was getting old and the track and sliding assembly was wearing down to the point where it was a real struggle to open. We looked up Long Life Windows and saw they were not too far from us, and got a quick quote over the phone for price, installation time, and installation timeframe. They recommended that we call for another quote or two, and then call back for an inspection and firm quote. I looked at a few patio door options at the Big-Box stores, and also called a friend who's spouse also installs doors and windows. I was told the all-in quote for door delivery, installation and disposal of the old door was a good quote and not worth spending the time to have other installers visit my house. So a no-nonsense quote -- big thumbs up from me. Installation day was about two weeks later. My mother-in-law attended the installation and said there were no issues the installer was courteous. I was busy for most of the day and the installer left a long message for me on my phone about door operation, some things to watch for, and explained a few details about the way the door was built. When I got home I was expecting typical dust/dirt/debris. The floor and walls were clean, no nicks in the wall or old frame, no dust, no dirt, as if the work area was cleaner after the install than when I left the house in the morning. This gets another big thumbs up from me. I can slide the door with two fingers and I had blinds installed between layers of glass. My wife loves the sliding door and she didn't have to endure a weekend of f-bombs from me or have to look at my shoddy handiwork for the next 15 years. This is GOLD for me. I'm absolutely calling these guys again if I need new windows and doors.

Very happy, highly recommend
We're very happy with Long Life, and with our new windows and door. We recommend them fully and we will likely hire them back at some point to do our front door. After being surprised at how much it was going to cost (we had no reference point so, no idea what to expect), we decided to shop around. We spoke with 3 other companies. All 3 knew Long Life, and one even named the person who had put together our quote and said he is one of the best in the region. The first company told us to just stay with Long Life (seriously). The second company said they'd give us a competitive quote, and their quote ended up being pretty close to Long Life's (though it was a little cheaper - not by much). The third company wasn't able to provide as good of a product and their communication was terrible. After all that, we ultimately decided to stay with Long Life, as we were very happy with their offering and communication and we were not as impressed with the other companies we spoke with. It turns out, that's just what windows cost. On the installation day, they showed up a couple hours earlier than we were told, which was a bit awkward but hard to be mad at contractors showing up early. They said they'd probably be done around 3, and sure enough by 3 they were packing up and giving us a tour of the new installations. They keyed the new lock to our existing keys, a nice bonus. There was a woman on the crew who was especially helpful at answering our questions or directing us to the right person, and she also went above and beyond by repairing a bunch of bad caulking in our kitchen that had nothing at all to do with the windows. Much appreciated. My only issue is there was a miscommunication and they did not install a peep hole in the new door as we had requested. However, they had someone calling us the very next day to come and drill one in, so really not a big deal. So we are very happy in the end, and highly recommend using Long Life for your own project.

Whistler outside door replacement project
We required new doors for our cabin in whistler. Four sliding doors to replace ones that had not been installed properly when the cabin was built and did not provide sufficient weather and noise protection. LifeLong was very professional from start to finish. They visited the cabin in whistler to make measurements and recommend replacement sliding doors. They provided an upfront quote for all services and a timeline for project completion. They actually completed the project ahead of time (amazing for anything in whistler) and on budget. We have been completely amazed with the service and Products supplied by LifeLong.

Windows Installation services
I had my windows replaced by two professionals namely Peter and Preston, and their work ethics and skills were amazing. I was impressed that they did a safety tail board before starting the work and did a fantastic job for me and even went extra miles and cut a portion of the wall which was not even their contract for me without charging me. These guys are awesome

Door Installations
Positive experience overall with replacing my 2 exterior doors, and a sliding patio door. The installers Bernard and Shawn were super professional and personable. They took the time to keep my home as clean as possible throughout the process. The wait time from quote to completion was very long, but there quality of work made it worth the wait.

New Windows for entire house
Josh and his crew did an excellent job on our windows. They showed up on time, were courteous and professional and did a fantastic job on the install and also the finishing work. We are very happy with the work and have no problem recommending your company to anybody who is looking for window work.

Just had 20 windows and a new patio door installed
We just had all 20 of the windows on the house (except a couple of stained glass ones) replaced and a large three pane patio door. Our house is 1905 and tall and narrow, so provided lots of challenges for Preston and Peter, our installers. They did an amazing job. They are both very hard workers - worked so hard every day and with only a break for lunch. They went above and beyond the call of duty, making sure to do the little things that come up that are needed to make the window look good/fit etc. They were careful with the house too - putting down tarps etc and cleaning up after themselves. Both a great guys who are friendly and outgoing. We also had an excellent experience with Kris - who managed our sale, and Bernard, who came to do the measurements before the order went in. We are very happy with the windows. They look great!
