This was a year ago. Murray came in a did a wonderful job in installing new flooring. Today the floor are still in great shape. The price was reasonable but the most important part was that the service was guaranteed. We called him up and he was at our door next day. Not only that the job was only couple of days. I decided to pull the carpet up in my 1929 home. I knew there existed hardwood under the carpet, but I also knew that the carpet installers had damaged the hardwood in some areas, and there were missing pieces in others. I also had a different stain in the kitchen, and dining room, so R.H. suggested I make the finish and stain the same throughout. I decided to take a chance and hired Restoration Hardwood. I went on holidays, and when I returned, I came home to absolutely beautiful hardwood floors throughout. The finish was perfect, and they even fixed portions of the floor where the ebony inlay was missing. I was never more pleased. In a world where mediocrity has become the norm, Restoration Hardwood goes the extra mile.

Got these guys to repair a weak spot in my fir floors and sand and refinish. They were responsive, reliable, friendly, and best of all, did good work. We plan to use them again.

Murray and Restoration Hardwood refinished our floors recently. The floors were oak and on the main level of our home. They had become discoloured with use/water. We chose to have them resanded and stained a darker colour. We were delighted with the painless process. We did have to clear all the furniture, including fridge and toilet but the results are beautiful. They arrived when they said they would and stayed for just the time it took to complete each stage. We are absolutely thrilled with the result and wished we had had it done earlier. Everyone has admired it and we would certainly use this company again

The team of Restoration Hardwood has done a wonderful job on our large 4500 square foot, high traffic, multi?use maple hardwood floor at Performance Works on Granville Island. Murray and his team were cost effective, reliable, very clean ( dust free!), and had a high attention to detail that made our floors shine! We have referred them to other facilities on Granville Island, and have had them back for our bi?annual re?finishing. We give them our highest recommendation.

We recently used Restoration Hardwood to refinish our 60 year old oak floors. Some of the boards had substantial water damage and all had been covered up for many years by carpet. I was not even sure the floors were salvageable. From start to finish we were very happy with the way the job was handled. The workmen arrived punctually, were pleasant to deal with and restored the floor beautifully. There was an incredibly small amount of dust considering what was done and the job site was always left clean and tidy. The work was finished actually slightly ahead of time and on budget with ongoing advice on how to care for and protect our new floor. Would we use this company again? Absolutely.
