We moved into a home that was about 20 years old. Most of the windows needed replacing, and after asking a few friends, we went with Ambia Windows (recommended by a friend). What I liked: - Their estimate on when they can do the job was accurate. - They came when they said they would. - The windows are nice. Nice clean installation. We got the triple pane windows. - The quote was done the same day of the initial visit.

All the work was done in one day. Workers were polite, punctual, and seemed efficient. However, after the work was completed, we were not impressed with the finishing on the inside. Caulking look incomplete, the cap on top of the bay window was not done well with exposed insulation even though it looked fine from the curb side, the basement windows were not seal off properly on the top of the windows as well leaving insulation expose to all weather elements. To Ambia's credit, Mike Raddachio who is our contact for Ambia and Boris and his team who did the work came by quickly to have a look at the finished work. The problems as listed were rectified within 2 weeks. Meanwhile we had to cover the exposed areas with plastic covering as it thunder stormed and rained a few times. We were glad the problem was resolved inside and out without further complications

Ambia Windows is a refreshingly customer-centric organization. Their prices are competitive and their workmanship is excellent. They replaced two patio doors for us during the first snowfall last year yet the house was kept very clean. All completed within a day. They came back in the spring to repair a minor issue with no questions asked. We were so happy that we asked them to quote on replacing all the windows on the front of our home. After paying the deposit and they placed the order we had a change of mind because we decided to buy a new house and move. When we asked to cancel the custom order that was already in the works, they refunded the majority of our deposit keeping only a small amount to cover their supplier's administrative costs. Very customer-oriented. I would highly recommend them.

Replaced all the back windows, sliding doors and entry doors. Both tony and Michael provide excellent customer service and sales service. The installation was painless. Would recommend Ambia for their quality, professionalism and customer service.

From initial consult to installation, both the attention to detail and project challenges were clearly communicated. Every commitment was kept. I was very impressed with the installation and the workmanship applied. There was a minimum of disruption as the project was managed effciently with all materials onsite when needed. My property was well respected and cleanedup. We had to colourmatch to existing uppers and well done.

This is a positive review that is much overdue! After recently moving into our home, we quickly realized that our windows were in dire need of repair - and with winter coming I took to cold-calling everyone from the in-door flyers, neighbour's window installers (gotta love those lawn signs), and whomever I could find on google. I decided to go with Ambia not only because their pricing was better than 99% of other quotes received, but mainly because Ambia appeared to be a family-operated business run with heart - taking the time to listen to what we needed done, and be honest about expectations (cost, order fulfillment, installation). We had a tough time with contractors earlier in the year, and working with their sales was a very refreshing experience. One of our biggest worries was trying to beat the winter weather, as the cold (leaving windows popped open for the day during replacement) would pose a risk to one of our frail family members. Although Ambia had already gone the extra yard and pushed an install date ahead of the winter season, Tony had remembered our worries and (behind the scenes) beat our expectations - calling weeks earlier than planned for our installation - this was very, very much appreciated as well! The installers were thorough and absolutely fantastic - in and out on the same day. The windows install looks absolutely seamless; I always worry about contractors paying attention to detail and disaster scenarios, but Ambia was one of the few that exceeded expectations. We also elected to throw a bay window into the front living room area (attaching a picture to this review), and it was an experience watching the installers put it together - they are masters in their craft! As we continue with our renovations (some other contractors have taken Ambia's contact info, complimenting the windows and quality of workmanship), I'm hoping to take the next step with doors soon and will definitely be taking advantage of their services again - thank you Tony and team!

We received several quotes to replace all 9 windows in our house. Micheal, the project tech was very friendly, knowledgeable and was not pushy at all, especially compared to some other companies we saw. Overall project was excellent, the crew was quick, friendly, clean, and respectable of our stuff around the windows. We also had an issue with a leak, which was determined to be caused by our "siding" and not the window, but they came the same day i called and fixed it temporarily with some cocking free of charge even though this was not their issue to fix. Tony, the manager, was very friendly and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend and will definitely re-use them if the need ever arises again. Thanks Tony, we love our new windows.

Ambia installed some windows for me a few years ago and I had no hesitation in getting them to quote for my two new front doors. John gave me solid advice on my choices, Tony was in regular contact regarding scheduling, and George did a great job of the installation and clean up. I have an older property and George even did some additional finishing not included in the original quotation in order to ensure everything looked great. There was a small problem with the installation of the letterbox, but this was a minor issue and the problem was very quickly resolved by Tony and completely to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Ambia and use them again!

"AMBIA Windows and Doors" did a fantastic job of installing the windows on our upper floor, so, naturally, they were the ones we called when we needed the main floor windows and garden door replaced. Again, Ambia did not disappoint. They were punctual, the price was great, the garden door looks phenomenal and they cleaned everything after the job was done - in record time. I wish I had more windows in my house!! I am recommending them to all my friends and cannot praise them enough

My recently purchased home needed new windows. After contacting and getting estimates from a few suppliers, Ambia came in with a quote that had what sounded like the best product for my needs at a very competitive price. John, the salesman, gave the opposite of a hard-sell pitch. He was able to answer all my questions about windows in general, and what would suit the needs of my house. The big advantage that the Vinylbilt windows that Ambia has was that they had a degree of thickness for sound insulation for my front windows that was better than their competitors, but at a similar price point as the best of the other quotes I received. The real test, naturally, was how the windows stood up when they were installed, and on that score, I was very pleased with my choice to go with Ambia. The windows themselves are sturdy, bright and the double-hung feature will make them a breeze to clean, and being able to open them from either side allows for great air-flow. The installation was much less disruptive than I'd anticipated. The installers were fast, friendly, efficient, didn't make much of a mess and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. All-in-all, I am very pleased with having gone with Ambia, particularly with the comfort of knowing the windows come with a lifetime guarantee.
