Valentyne, from DrainCom was great. I like this company because both times I've used it the workers have been very professional: including both plumbers and the receptionist who books appointments. They are always on time and the work is clean. A year ago when DrainCom ran plumbing for a remodel of my kitchen, I had other contractors in who complimented the precision with which the pipes had been run. That means a lot.

We will never, ever, EVER use another company! Valentyn was incredible and, because of his honesty and creative thinking, he literally save us over $2000. We had a very strange situation - the drainage hose from the furnace was running through our basement shower stall wall to our shower floor drain (ridiculous, but it is an old house with a lot of quirky homespun solutions). We got two other quotes - plumbers who told us they'd have to create a deep trench and run the hose a long distance to hook it up to the main drain (quotes were about $2500 to do the work). Valentyn came up with a much simpler and cheaper solution, took care to ensure the pipe had the appropriate slope for proper drainage, and we finally have a shower stall that can actually be used!! His installation of a new laundry tub and faucet was equally trouble-free and perfect. Meticulous, honest, hardworking with reasonable pricing - thank you Valentyn and DrainCom!

We called DrainCom based on their excellent reviews and were not disappointed. Valentyne was prompt, very knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. He fixed all of our plumbing issues and provided some advice to solve some other smaller plumbing problems on our own. We would not hesitate to recommend DrainCom/Valentyne and will be calling them for any future plumbing needs.

We just bought this house and there are many problems which we found day by day. We are so lucky to have Valentyn come to help. He is very patient and professional. Valentyn arrived right on time and always came well prepared for the job on hand. His quality of work is excellent and he offers reasonable pricing. He always leaves the place worked on clean and never fails to keep a smile on his face!

We recently bought a new dishwasher but when it came to install it, the pipes and valves were a mess. Les came on time for the job and dug in even though he wasn't prepared for how complicated it turned out to be. He was very respectful and was very clear about each step he had to take. At one point, I thought he'd have to remove a fair amount of ceiling tile in our shower to do the job but he managed to complete it with only minor impact to our shower tile. When we was done, he cleaned up and made sure no debris was left behind. I'd Use Drain Com again without hesitation.

I called Draincom when my new sink drain was not draining quickly. My call was answered promptly, appt set for the next day and Val arrived right on time, as promised. Val examined the drainage pipes and correctly ascertained that they had not been done by a plumber. He put them back to code with a minimum of fuss, but the drain still did not drain properly. He then snaked out the drain, which made a big difference, solving 90% of the problem. Apparently my venting is not adequate for the drain and there is no real solution. But the drain works much better now and I am happy to say that I trust Val and would happily use him again or recommend him to others.

Draincom just finished replacing the old cast-iron drain stack in my house in Hamilton. The stack had split open, leaving water leaking down through the main floor wall into the basement, rendering the upstairs bathroom unusable. I found Draincom on Homestars and was very impressed with their reviews. I called them for a quote and Valentyn arrived punctually to assess the situation. He was extremely professional, knowledegable, and honest, and gave a quote which was more competitive than the other contractor I called. We scheduled Valentyn to do the job the following week, and I was not disappointed. He did a great job, on schedule and on budget, and I'm thrilled to say that within a day we had a working bathroom once again upstairs. He also did a great job in cleaning up afterwards. Can't recommend Valentyn and Draincom enough, and am now letting all my friends know about them. Well done, and thanks, Draincom!

We are very pleased with the work completed by Valentyn B. He took the time to answer all our questions and ensure we understood the work required to complete the job. He quickly assessed the cracked PVC pipe connected to the bathtub drain and determined the repair could be completed by cutting a small opening in the adjacent closet. Within a short period of time the proper parts were acquired and installed efficiently. His work was completed with a final check to ensure there were no leaks. Also, Valentyn B. reviewed a leaking outdoor valve and provided us with his professional opinion. Overall we are very satisfied with the outcome of his work and his ability to communicate effectively. This is something you do not see every day. Thank you!

I made contact with DrainCom and received immediate service for my bathroom issue. Les and his partner arrived - diagnosed the problem ( clogged and leaking drain), provided the cost and full description of service. Les was fast - did an amazing job. I highly recommend them.
