    Plumbing

On Thursday afternoon Michael from Water Works showed up right on time to look at a clogging problem on our second floor bathtub. Although he snaked out the huge chunks of hair that had accumulated in the pipe over the years, the drainage strangely didn’t improve much. So, he came back later that evening with his coworker to investigate the main source of the problem. Soon we found out that our 100-year-old house’s clay sewer pipe under the basement had been invaded by tree roots. This meant having to break the tiles and the concrete in the basement and replace the clay (elbow) pipe with a new PVC pipe. Naturally, we were distressed having to face a rather serious problem, and anticipating all the things that could go wrong during the process of fixing it. In the following 5 days, however, I had confirmed why a good service could make a big difference in one’s life. All of the Water Works’ staff were punctual, professional and never wasted time. The workmanship was excellent. I recommend Water Works Company, especially Michael, because he is passionate about his job and tries to make you happy. You can definitely rely on his prompt and efficient service. Oct. 1, 2009

Trouble shooting hot water mixing in cold

Michael was able to accommodate our schedule and arrived early! He was extremely personable and I felt very comfortable having him in my home with my little kids underfoot. We explained the problem, and I expected to see the same look of "not knowing where to start" that I got from another plumber. But instead he did some trouble shooting and within 15 minutes was able to isolate and solve the problem! He also took the time to explain everything. He was extremely professional, courteous and respectful to our home (love those shoe-covers!). My family can now safely use the cold water without the fear of getting burned. Thank you Water Works! I definitely would recommend Michael Yuffa and Water Works Plumbing to my friends and family!

    Fixing shower faucet

Michael was fantastic - found and fixed the problem immediately, couldn't have been more friendly and professional. Definitely two thumbs up! Not sure why they're asking for at least 30 words - that seems kinda silly to me :)

    Catch Basin Quote

I had requested a quote from Water Works for my parent's drain in a mutual driveway. Even though the project it has been put on hold due finances, Water Works was still generous with advice. Rosanna from the office was kind and helpful, it is rare to find such sincerity when dealing with contractors. I will certainly keep Water Works on my list of contacts for any future plumbing needs. Cheers, Annie

We just moved in and found the kitchen sink was leaking among other things. Needless to say, we were a little stressed out having just moved. Your representative was most helpful and understanding.

    Bathroom Plumbing

I had an emergency -- water pouring out of the ceiling underneath the bathroom. Mike and company, addressed the problem, and got it completely fixed the very next day! Things work better than ever now. Having to work late I felt secure leaving their workers to do the job while I was out. Also the administrative staff are clear, friendly and helpful. Very reliable. They are worth every penny!

    intake pipe replacement

This is an old house with a lead intake pipe. It was a huge job replacing the pipe as it involved digging through clay, but Waterworks did this with minimum disruption and they were good with replacing sod, etc. They also unclogged a downspout drain at no charge. They were flexible with timing, which was appreciated.

    Leaking toilet

After a DIY toilet installation, we noticed a bit of seepage under the toilet. It was persistent and had to be rectified. Mike and Sean fixed the problem in no time and we're very satisfied.

    clogged toilet

A clogged toilet while my husband was working in the U.K. and I was in Northern Ontario for an extended period left us with a dilemma. I Google'd a plumbing company in Toronto and Waterworks came up in the results. I took a tour of their very informative website and was satisfied with the information I found. I called and spoke to the receptionist who was extremely helpful and arranged for someone to come the following afternoon. The repair that was required was the least costly of the two potential repairs that we were quoted (how often does that happen?) and the customer service remained pleasant throughout a number of conversations. I'll definitely use them again if we run into trouble and would happily refer friends/family members to them.

    Leaky Bathroom Sink

My landlord left town for a month and entrusted me with fixing our leaky bathroom sink. When a replacement tap proved to beyond his price range, Mike helped me find a more cost-friendly alternative repair.
