    Toilet replacement

I had some problem operating my toilet and needed advise as to what was the most fee-sable/beneficial service that could be done. Larry came for service and explained the pros and cons regarding replacing and/or repairing it. He was very courteous, understanding and went out of his way to satisfy my needs. I very much appreciated his efficient and calm demeanor. No pressure and no hassle. Excellent work, Larry! From now on, I will call WaterWorks only for future services. Thank you. S.S.

    Hook up kitchen plumbing

In short, I bought a new sink and faucet from one of the major big box stores and had a terrible experience in getting them to install and adjust the plumbing. After going without water for almost two weeks I looked up Water Works Plumbing and within two days everything was installed, hassle free. Very professional and friendly service. Thanks again, Mike!

    unclogged drain pipe

Michael recommended a product and guaranteed that we would not contact him again for the same problem, i.e. clogged kitchen drain. He is right! We have used the product Bio-clean as recommended by him more than a year now. We appreciate his "true" customer service. Thank You Michael!

    Replace main shut off

Larry replaced the main shut off valve in my basement. My plumbing tale of woe is long and painful....but needless to say WaterWorks saved the day - and my basement from the eventual flooding that was bound to happen. A little on the pricey side - but I'm happy with the work - and the level of responsiveness and quality of workmanship. A few bucks today certainly saved me from a lot more bucks tomorrow....

Check if water damage to ceiling due to plumbing leak

I noticed paint peeling away on my living room ceiling directly under the shower on the next floor. Larry came in to check if its a problem with leaks from the drain. He ran the water in the shower to check the problem and uncovered issues with the tiles and baseboard around the shower door and recommended to have it checked out by a ceramic tile guy. Its good to know its not plumbing related.

    Replace Trap

Overall , we are pleased with the efficiency and professionalism of the company. The representative came promptly and assessed what needed doing..We were in the precarious position of HAVING to get this done..or face the inevitable..human waste in the finished basement. That being said..apparently,their pricing was competitive,BUT, $4,000.oo for 13 hours work is outrageous.(all the labour being done by hand and shovel by one elderly gentlemen for 9.5 hrs one day and 1ihour the same day for the licensed plumber to come ,cut out the old clay trap and install the new and the backfill for 1.5hrs .the next day by 3 men!).The cost works out to essentially $375.00/hr-that's one hell of a mark-up.Did they do the job properly? Yes, Did we get value for money ..No.We believe that $2,ooo.oo would have been more than sufficient for this job considering that absolutely no machinery was used for the job..just one liitle man to dig down 14 feet to get to the trap...

Thank you very much for your business. We are grateful to be of service to you.We understand nobody feels great about spending money on plumbing and sewer problems. In the end it is all worth it. Just to let you know about a few things that go into the costing of our jobs:We are a fully Liability insured, also carry WSIB insurance. In addition,we also take care of a lot of things behind the scenes that you are not aware of, like getting all utilities locates before we dig and also doing the follow up and re-installation of your storage shed, which we wouldn't charge extra for. We do give everyone an upfront cost before we do any work and thus no surprises. We stand behind our work and we don’t nickel or dime our clients. If you read our competitors reviews you will see our pricing is good, so that you know you got great value for your repair investment. We wish you all the best from The Water Works plumbing and drains Inc.

    Fix leaking kitchen sink

We had a leaking kitchen sink and Larry V arrived within a day to replace and install new strainers. He was friendly and polite and while testing his handiwork realized that the drainage pipe was cracked and was continuing to cause leakage. He quickly replaced the pipe at no extra cost. Outstanding customer service.

    Faucet repair

We had a couple of straightforward but irritating issues with leaky taps which were old/awkwardly installed. This was exemplary service from the initial confirmation through to the final follow up phone call. Michael arrived when he said he would, explained our options for each repair then quoted prices from a pre printed form. Most importantly, he did not try to "sell" us on the more expensive alternative nor the service plan. In fact, he suggested the cheaper options would work just as well. The repairs were done swiftly and efficiently. In addition, Michael has to be the friendliest, most genial trades person we've ever encountered. Too many contractors have little interpersonal skills -- a detriment in a competitive industry where you are selling a service.(He even gave us suggestions for our next ski holiday!) I can't comment on the prices as we have rarely utilized a plumber before, but they seem to be in line with what others charge. I would definitely recommend WaterWorks to anyone with a plumbing issue.

    Sump Pump Repair

Our sump pump was installed by Waterworks last year. Tonight we realized that it had stopped working and we were about a 1/2 inch away from a complete basement flood. As we work from home an event like that could have put us out of business for several days! Although there was some initial confusion over our 'paperwork' and 'warranty', Michael arrived within an hour and made everything 'right'! Thank God we took the 5 year 'Platinum' Warranty!!

    Plumbing

Michael from Water Works was great. I had to have two appointments with them as I needed to check if there was asbestos before the job could be finished completely but I was able to get both appointments quickly. Both times I was given a 4 hour window and Natasha called before he was coming so I knew when he was to arrive. She also called after he left to ensure everything went ok. Michael was very professional and didn't pressure me to get additional things fixed. The pricing was from a printed book so I knew this was their standard rate. He was very clean, always wearing booties over his shoes, put tarps down to ensure he didn't make a mess and closed everything back up afterward. I would definitely go with Micheal again. He even helped me locate shut off valves because this was important as a homeowner. Thank you you much for your help! Deb
