I was in desperate need of new lighting for my galley kitchen. Java Electric was recommended to me and I was extremely satisfied with them. Antonio who is the head of Java Electric was prompt and courteous. Antonio's design suggestions were right on and the final product has made me extremely happy. The cost was reasonable. Antonio and his team were respectful, neat and professional. I would definitely use Java Electric again and I would also highly recommend them to my friends and family.

In the summer of 2011, I purchase my house in Oakville and right from the beginning, I knew that I need to upgrade my old electrical panel. Finally, in late December 2011, I was ready to have someone to do the job. I contacted four electricians and just one bothered to come to my home and see what kind of work was need it, his estimate was $2, 600.00 and I would have to wait until the end of the next month at the earliest for the job to be done. I friend of mind recommend me to contact Antonio at Java Electric and I did it, right from the beginning he showed interest and professionalism in my request. He came the very next day and give an estimated of $ 1,750.00. Great price but, will the job will be done right? The next day he and his right hand Pierre arrived and starting working right away. I decided to spend a little time by Antonio and Pierre and they were not shy of talking to me about their work plans and in matter of minutes they earned my trust. The job was done right, clean efficient and at the price that was arranged, that is right the same price of $1,750.00 and nothing more. At the end, I deal with someone reliable, paid a fair price, got friendly service and finally I was happy to see my electrical panel like brand new. I will recommend Antonio (Java Electric) to al my neighbors and friends from now on, thanks Java Electric.

Antonio and Pierre tackled a number of electrical tasks in my home including installation of an outcoor light (in cold, pouring rain in December!) They were professional and personable and stayed until 8 at night to complete everything. I highly recommend this company.

The electrician did arrive on time and was honest on the efforts needed to execute the work. The installation of the pot lights would have required additional repairs to the ceiling and he consulted me on what had to be done. As they were also a fire hazard, I decided to forego on the pot lights plan. The ceiling fan, electrical outlets and switches were installed without flaw. However, the base board heater ended up being installed 16 inches above the floor. I remember asking that it be closer to the floor as it seemed like it was floating in the middle of the wall. The electrician came back on January 21 and rectified the situation at no cost. The base board looks great.

We needed some help changing some plugs to include USB, and our kitchen fluorescent light was acting up as well. We searche homestars and decided to call Java, and they were very responsive-- called us on Sunday and came over on Monday morning. Pavel and his assistant were super! Looked over all the tasks, went out for a bit to get the right parts, explained everything they were doing before, during, and after. Cleaned up, made very little mess to start with, used drop cloths where necessary. I'm really very happy with the service, I feel confident in their work, and I would definitely call them again for any electrical job I may have at this house or any other in the future. Highly recommended!

I recently had Java Electric instal pot lights in my home. I found both Antonio and Pierre to be punctual, professional, and personable. They worked well with me to establish a design pattern that fit my needs. The actual work was both precise and done with no damage to my home. Furthermore extreme care was taken to minimize any mess and clean up what little there was afterwards. All work was completed on time and at the prices quoted. Additionally they made sure that I was completely happy with the work and even made some small tedious adjustments to the angle of several of the lights to ensure that I was completely happy with the work before they departed. ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED***

Antonio and Pierre did complete knob- and-tube removal and complete re-wiring of our 120-year old house. They had our service panel upgraded to 200 Amp and installed smoke/CO alarm system and two dedicated AC lines. They used high quality products and all the work were done carefully according to the safety code. Antonio and Pierre have a real passion for what they do and they always want to do an excellent job. When we first looked at the reviews about Java Electric we thought it is too good to be true but now we know that all the reviews about Java Electric are the real description of the company. I had three quotes from three companies. When Antonio came for the quote he spent one hour explaining to us about the latest code requirement, how he would do the job and asked us about our preferences. The other two companies spent about 15 minutes for each quote. Java Electric also gave us a fare price compared to others. They started their work from basement up to the upper floors. When working on the outside wall of the house they found the old connection from the Hydro line to the house were very lose and about to fall out. They spent several hours working in the rain to fix the problem and phoned the Toronto Hydro asking them to replace the line as soon as possible. Antonio and Pierre know the structure of old houses very well so that they can do fishing using only a few holes with very small size. They also patched up all the holes without extra charge. Everyday they would use the drop cloth to cover the floor. They also covered the furniture when needed. Antonio would explain to us each day what they plan to accomplish that day and ask us for input. After the work Antonio would show us what had been done and they always cleaned up the floor and wiped clean the wall and ceilings. Antonio is very open and transparent about the work to be done. He would explain to us the detailed steps of each job. He took time and patience to explain things until we understood. Antonio and Pierre always want to do a job that customers would be happy and comfortable with. Once we wanted a receptacle to be re-installed in a different spot other than the one we told them in the first place, Antonio did it for free. They really care about customers’ needs and concerns. They are willing to put time into having a high quality job well done. Since Java Electric has many customers, we waited for several days before they started the work in our house. We believe it is worthwhile to wait for a good company to have the work done right. After the work was completed we realized that the amount of work and complexity involved in this project is beyond our imagination. When upgrading the service panel, they worked in the rain continuously for several hours. When re-wiring the second floor, they found an old attic entrance in one of the closets and worked in the dusty attic for many hours. They took special care of the attic by changing into soft shoes. After that they also give me very useful suggestions for attic insulation. They treated the work as if for their own house. Antonio and Pierre are genuinely nice people, trustworthy and reliable. We are truly impressed by their honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Java Electric is the best contractor we have ever seen. We recommend Java Electric to everyone.

Yunior came to our home in Maple to put in 5 potlights in our living room - 3 were in a bulkhead with a waste pipe going through it, 2 on the opposite wall above the fireplace. He was friendly, courteous, and absolutely professional. The job was done quickly, and done well. He even had a small camera to ensure that no pipes were damaged in our bulkhead. I definitely recommend him and Java Electric, and will use them in the future.

We discovered that our home inspection quoted 30% knob and tube was actually closer to 100% {!!!] We knew that th reno was going to be extensive in our 2 story townhome, and needed someone who would be able to move quickly as we had not allotted enough time before we moved in. We can't say enough good things about the folks at Java. Their quote was extremely detailed and competitive, delivered quickly, and they started within the week. Yunior and crew were an absolute pleasure. He took us every step of the way through the home, made useful and practical suggestions, was polite, thoughtful and courteous (which meant a lot as we were in the home during the renos), and left the place looking terrific (even doing a pretty darn good patching job after wards). The home passed inspection with flying colours on the first go, which confirmed everything we suspected about Java - the work and their crew are absolute quality!

Junior arrived promptly as scheduled and was extremely attentive to detail. He treated his workspace as if it were his own and completed the work in a timely manner, ensuring I was satisfied through every step of the process. In the end, I couldn't have been happier with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate recommending the company to anyone who seeks this type of contractor.
