Chris Cavan and City Wide Group did a fantastic job on waterproofing my basement. Chris showed up to do the estimate with great advice and understanding about the problem and how to best fix it. Their crew was courteous, efficient and cleaned up after the job leaving everything in great condition. I subsequently contacted them months later with some follow up issue that appeared after the winter ice had melted and they immediately sent some one to fix it. Great customer service! Highly recommended!

We hired city wide group to waterproof our leaky basement a few months ago. The crew did an impeccable job. The estimator Tony answered my calls every time and was a great communicator. I would suggest this company to anyone looking for s credible, hard working group of people.

Alex was very proffesional, he explained everything to us. He is very knowledgable and great to deal with. The workers who did the project were very pleasant, everything was cleaned up before they left. I am however missing some perennials which might have been disgarded by accident. Besides that I cannot complain about the service level.Thank you,Lucy

Hired City Wide to waterproof our home. We got quotes from 4 different companies. We went with City Wide because we spoke to the owner and he said that the difference between his company and the others was the quality of the materials and how they left our property when they were finished. The majority of the work was completed in 7 days, but there was still work to do... They left our site and we didn't see or hear from anyone for over 2 weeks (2 weeks and 2 days), the guy came to replace the A/C unit but he said he couldn't because the soil wasn't prepared properly. We called the owner and someone was there in less the 24 hours. But there still seems to be problems, the window wells are not secured to the house, even though on their website photos it seems to be done with the window wells they install. Also, we're in the middle of the hottest days of the year and our A/C is not connected. When we called Tony our rep he said it wasn't his fault, which is what he's been saying for the 2 week wait as well. I don't understand how it's not his fault when we paid his company extra to have the A/C unit replaced. I have two friends that need waterproofing done but I have recommended they go with another company because of the problems with City Wide. The funny thing was they rep asked us to write a review on HomeStars about the service even though we've had to wait for all of the work to be completed. Luckily we haven't paid the balance of the bill yet and we can stop the cheques. If I were you I would avoid going with City Wide, especially with all of the competition out there.

Our basement was short and dark. We hired City Wide to dig out the basement and dig they did. Jacob and his dad added two feet of finished height and the work was impeccable. They left the job site exceptionally clean Every day and helped trouble shoot some plumbing issues we had. Chris was pleasant to work with but wasn't always the best at communicating when there would be a delay.

We are really satisfied with the work done. Alex explained everything to us very clearly and showed us the problem right away. He explained the process step by step and even came by during the work to make sure we were kept informed throughout the process. The workers cleaned up everything and Alex followed up with us afterwards to make sure we had no more leaks. I have already provided Alex's number to others in case they ever have any issues.

These guys were great. They were quick, professional, and did a great job. The work was completed in a half day, and at a very reasonable price. The cleanup afterwards was perfect. They were totally trustworthy and earned my respect.

Dug down to footings, repaired the walls with concrete parge, installed bituthane primer, blue skin, drainage membrane, weeping tiles along the perimeter, covered with gravel, then returned soil. Returned patio slabs and cemented surface, gates, and reinforced wooden fence with sono tubes. Workers were outstanding, always tidied up at the end of the day, and always punctual and hardworking. They exceeded my expectations every day.

Paid to have a large sidewalk and concrete patio slab poured. They subbed it out to another company who did a terrible job. Cracked within the first year and is now Spalding everywhere. Contacted City Wide and have gotten nothing but the run around for well over a year. We have been in contact with City Wide and now have a tentative date in June to have it all redone!

UPDATE: Chris at City Wide group reached out to me and has corrected the deficiencies. The sales person (Steve) sub contracted out the work and he himself was largely unavailable. I was told they could not replace the patio stones to original and suggested it best to replace with stones at an additional cost of $2000 - cash to the contractors - not City wide. This was arranged through Steve. The workers completely messed up my rear porch putting it back together (uneven, gaps between boards, boards reversed, cheap replacement of edging. After complaining, and a few attempts at them fixing it, I gave up. I would not recommend this company.
