    Window Replacement

    The installers arrived on time. They were very organized. The suggested installation and colours were perfect for the house' The made minimal disruptions during the installation. When the job was finished they cleared every scrap of material and left the area clean and tidy.Several people have made positive comments about the windows. I am more than pleased with the work that was done.

    Furnace and HW Tank Instal

    This company provides great service, has very helpful staff and instalation personnel. Would recommend to anyone! Quick to respond to communications and obviously knowledgeable about what they do. Also provided a competitive price.

    New windows

    Would be more than happy to recommend House Smart to my friends and family for new windows! Right from the salesman to the office staff to the installers we were well looked after. They have a great products and the installers were very knowledgeable and professional and the cleanup was excellent. Good to know that such a thing as courteous and good service still exists!

    Siding

    Right from the start, Ray, Ryan and the installers were extremely professional, friendly and got the job done as contracted. They even did a couple of siding repair jobs on our shed to match it to the siding and fix a couple of broken spots at no extra cost. We would recommend this company to anyone.

    Picture window replaced

    We had 6 estimates for this job. After doing our research and speaking with company staff, my husband and I decided to give the business to House Smart Home Improvements. Staff from Sales to Management were definitely trained how to deal with people, especially seniors with respect & patience. There was no hard sell. They gave us time to digest all necessary information applicable to our circumstances and budget. We were impressed that the material was manufactured locally by Vinyltek. The window was installed with 8 ( eight !!!) staff doing their respective jobs and they were so well coordinated. This was so generous of the company and did not just send " skeleton staffing".They were respectful of our house that was newly renovated, especially the hard wood floor and the new blinds. Special thanks to Joel and Logan who cleaned up and left the house in perfect condition. They were both excellent workers, with great personality and customer service mentality. We loved the varied age and experience of staff. Special thanks to Bryan, our first contact who honored all the discounts, Manager Ryan who was generous with additional discount without hesitation. We thanked Cory for taking down the blinds with precision. Please thank Bonita & Grace at the office. They were always polite and pleasant to talk to. Too bad, we have not heard of your company until we got the flyer in the mail. We had recently replaced all our windows, front door and sliding patio door. We also had our fireplace and Lennox furnace done recently. We hope to drum up more businesses for you company, either by referral or another renovation that we are planning to do with our rental property.

    Boiler Replacement

    Initial inspection was done by Housesmart and the work began the following week and it was completed within 4 days. They removed the old boiler on the 1st day, and did the initial prep. the following day , they installed the Instant hot water heat boiler. 3rd day it was turned up and 4th day, they came back to do the finer adjustments.

    Hardiboard installation

    Ryan was the representative and he did not let me down. He got the fellas in to work in the rain, and the freezing snow to get the job completed in time for Chinese New Year celebrations. They did an excellent job on the siding and the clean up at the end. Thank you, Ryan for handling the job so well.

    Patio Door

    The people at the show room were very helpful and friendly. The installers were also very friendly and efficient. However, the sale person was so rude the moment he walked in the door and pushy all through the meeting. He turned us off using the company and we were at the point of considering not going through with the order because of him. I would not recommend him to friends to take order or my future orders.

    Siding installation

    Completely disappointed in our siding install, we cannot believe the poor level of workmanship that was done. Several attempts were made to rectify the defects but because the install was not done correctly from the start any attempt only made it worse. I would not recommend this company to anyone. *Grace, we already reached out to your company, in fact your general manager and the owner have been to our house and are well aware of the situation. Last thing the owner said was that he needed time to think about it, we have not heard from him since and that was well over a month ago.*

    Windows replace

    The guys did a very nice job, everything was covered and protected in the house. They also had a young lady that cleaned up after them. She did a fantastic job. I will certainly recommend them.
