I called Valentin to inquire about connecting two sinks/faucets and installing a toilet. He came by later that afternoon to give us a quote (which seemed reasonable to me) and did the work right away. He was really nice, professional and considerate of making noise when my baby was sleeping. It's nice to have found a good plumber!

Valentin came to consult on what I thought was going to be a bathroom renovation and turned out to be much worse/more complicated and involved BOTH bathrooms. He was, in a word, AMAZING - quick, careful and explained things as he went. It turned out there was a slow leaking pipe that had done quite a lot of water damage without our knowing and Valentin found the leak (to get to it he had to open the wall) and then had to pull out the sink and the toilet. You couldn't have asked for a more professional, hard working and knowledgeable plumber. I would recommend him to anyone who needs any size of job done, small or large.

I called Valentin after seeing the positive reviews on Home Stars. He responded promptly and fit me into his schedule in the next few days. He replaced our cheap sump pump with a high quality one and also installed a battery backup. We were missing a check valve and he installed this at no additional cost. I had a pin-hole in my water main leaking water beneath my basement which began pooling and soaking into the floor causing a growing wet spot. I called Valentin on a Wednesday and texted him photos of what the issue was; Thursday he came over to quote; Friday he sent a team to excavate a hole to allow the area to dry and Saturday the work was done with a ten year warranty. Easier than I thought and very efficient. Strong Plumbing was a great choice for me and I recommend them for you.

Recommended Plumbing Contractor! Excellent communications and flexibility in getting jobs done around other contractor's schedules. Valentine's crew came and installed a back water valve and he personally did our water heater piping and hook up. Pleasant, Professional and easy to work with.

My neighbour recommended Valentin's services after he had helped her with multiple repairs in her condo. And thank goodness she recommended him! I noticed that the drain trap under my kitchen sink had corroded and needed to be replaced ASAP. I contacted Valentin for the job and heard back moments later. When he came into replace the trap, I found him to be courteous, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He arrived precisely when he said he would and left no mess after he left. I purchased an Ikea vanity which leaves very little space for water and drainage pipes. Valentin stepped in and knew exactly what to do. He fixed the pipes, put the sink and faucet in place and was quick, clean and precise. Believe the hype on this one, you will have a plumber for life.

The main drain under my kitchen sink was too high and caused major clogging every few months because of standing water and grease in the trap and connecting pipe which were a lot lower than the main drain. I had lived with this mess and smell since I bought the house 5 years ago and actually dreaded going to the kitchen to use the sink. Every time I’d called a plumber in the past they would just clean out the clog but no one wanted to tackle the job and solve the problem until I found Valentin in Homestars. Valentin knew exactly what the issue was and how to fix it permanently. He came over the next morning and within a few hours had reconfigured all the pipes so that the main drain was lower than the connecting pipe and perfectly attached to the trap. The plumbing now works the way it’s supposed to and no more clogs and disgusting odour. He also cleaned up and left the place exactly as it was before the job. Valentin is a highly skilled Plumber who saved me a lot of grief and made my life so much easier and stress-free at a very reasonable price; best $500 I ever spent! I’m going to hire Valentin again in a couple of weeks to replace my old kitchen faucet because now that the plumbing issue is fixed, I love my kitchen again and want to do other improvements (can’t wait). I had a project to change kitchen faucet. I sent the picture of the new faucet to him before he started the project. The project was done fast. After two weeks the faucet became loose; when I called and report the issue to Valentine, he mentioned it is not under warranty and i have to buy another faucet! and I have to pay another time for the second faucet. Overall I can say pricy and not reliable.

The faucet in our bathtub failed unexpectedly one morning. I found Strong Plumbing on Homestars and contacted Valentin on the strength of his online reviews. Am I ever glad I did! Valentin got back to me right away, asked for pictures via text to help clarify the issue, and then spent quite a lot of time trying to source our original fixtures to see if they could be repaired rather than replaced. When it became clear they had to be replaced, he then thought of a creative solution that meant we didn't have to break the tiles in our shower to install the new fixtures. He arrived exactly as scheduled, carried out the work in a careful and professional manner, and gave us some very helpful advice on a couple of other issues elsewhere in the house. The price for the work was very reasonable. We were truly impressed with Valentin's care and commitment to his work. We have found our 'go-to' plumber and will never call anyone else. We recommend him most highly!
