We had water backing up into our basement due to root blockage. We called a major chain firm first because we needed someone fast and they drained the backup. We had Strong Plumbing come in for the larger job to replace the building trap and clean out the roots. The chain firm and Strong were good, but we had a better feeling with Valentin (Strong) and got a better quote. He did not try to oversell us. We were delighted with the crew (he has 3, he said) led by Denys. They were quiet, clean and efficient. Our trap was below a beloved flagstone walkway and they were able to tunnel beneath without disturbing it. They preserved our sod and put it back so well that it's not terribly noticeable. The work was done by mid-afternoon. Valenin kept tabs with us by text during the day. We were happy with our choice and will call Strong for our future plumbing needs.

Our kitchen sink was leaking water underneath as it flowed down the drain such that we needed to place a pan under the drain pipe to catch the leaked water as it flowed. Also, the hot water tap in the 2 piece bathroom on the main floor was leaking underneath causing the pipes to rattle in the whole house when it was on. Lastly, the upstairs bathroom tub drain was completely clogged. We got quotes from 3 Homestar past and present winners including Strong. The other two are large, national, corporate entities whereas Strong is smaller. Strong was 70% less than the first quote, 30% less than the second. We were actually about to go with the second until Strong came in. For the bathroom sink issue, one charged more than it would cost to just buy a whole new vanity and the other said it would be too difficult and to just replace the whole vanity. Strong replaced just the faucet saving us hundreds. The plumber showed up with all the parts ready and what was initially going to be an estimate turned into us going ahead on the spot. Great work, nice guy, good price, cleaned up after the jobs and a 1 year warranty. What else you could ask for?

Valentin responded to our call right away. He provided very efficient and friendly service and did not try to sell us on something we didn't need. I definitely would not hesitate to use this company again.

If I could give an 11, I would. Valentin and his crew were great. He was very responsive, professional and a great communicator. Our 70 year old sewer trap was plugged and needed replacing. That meant digging up our front yard. Last year, we did extensive landscaping and we feared the worst. The digging happened, the trap was replaced all in one day and you can barely see where they dug. They had to dig up a bed with new bushes. They carefully removed the bushes, set them aside and then replaced them in perfect position. I could not be more satisfied.

I would highly recommend Valentin. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He easily replaced my seized kitchen faucet. He added an extra piece of reinforcement for the tap to rest on for support under the sink and supply lines which were not included with the faucet. I would certainly call him for any plumbing needs in the future

Valentin of Strong Plumbing supervised the installation of a back water valve and the replacement of pipes and drains in our basement bathroom. His team was meticulous, courteous and skilled. They showed us their work at all stages of the projects and guaranteed they would come back if their changes didn't fix our problem. 10 Stars indeed. Finally we have our go to plumber.
