I hired CoreTemp last August 2015 to replace two ancient furnaces in our newly purchased house. Richard came and provided his recommendation on choices of furnaces and explained his reason for recommending a modulating furnaces. I compared multiple quotes and options and did a little research myself. I decided to go with Coretemp for a variety of reasons. I can say that we're very happy with the work they did installing the furnaces as well as the new thermostats. Richard also came back to answer questions and even did an airflow assessment to help determine how to address issues we were having. He has been very helpful and responsive throughout. During the initial visit Richard's keen sense of smell picked up the smell of gas outside of our house and I quickly called in Enbridge who found a small gas leak in the furnace pipes and quickly addressed it. Thanks to Richard, we averted a much larger disaster. I can certainly say without hesitation that I highly recommend Richard and CoreTemp.

We got in touch with Coretemp based on the Homestar reviews in the fall of 2015. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and engaging person to work with. We quickly settle on a product and Richard's quote was very competitive. The installations were completed in a very professional manner, on time and on budget. The new furnace is working perfectly and we have saved quite a bit of money, both on gas and electricity consumption. I have used Coretemp services since then with the same great results, and would highly recommend Coretemp for any HVAC projects.

Woke up last Saturday morning to a hot house. Air conditioner stopped working overnight. Called CoreTemp and Richard answered right away, saying he was on his way to a call right then but he would come over right after he was done. He called back within a few hours and came to the house - repaired my AC and got us back up and running in the August heat. He then provided me a quote per my request on replacing my 15 year old AC unit and furnace. He talked over everything with me, reviewed the options he felt were best to meet our house needs, told me where to spend my money and save my money and was very knowledgeable, professional and respectful the whole time. I got 2 other quotes, but felt Richard was the best of the 3 overall and that he would be there if needed in the future - a proud business owner, offering great customer service and good prices. We confirmed our order Saturday night and he and his crew arrived Tuesday morning to do the unit replacements. They completed the job in about 5 hours and kept me informed the whole way. They even had to run a new refrigerant tube to bring the system up to more current standards and ensure better system efficiency - he could easily have not told me this and just hooked up the new equipment with the old copper tubing! I would definitely recommend CoreTemp for any repair, replacement or maintenance needs for your heating and AC. They are professional, certified, courtesy and communicate regularly with you throughout the whole process.

We called at 8:30 pm fully expecting to leave a message and Richard answered the phone. Richard arrived at 7:30 am the next morning. No kidding 8 minutes later we had air conditioning once again!!!!! In this day and age a successful business needs 2 things, knowledgeable employees and excellent customer service. CoreTemp excels at both.

A/C died on us on a blistering hot Saturday. Called a few places that evening before going out to dinner with the family and left v/m to see if someone could come out next day (Sunday) to do a service call. Richard from CorTemp was the first to call back (within 30 minutes) and even offered to come out that evening to check on it. Unfortunately we were already out for dinner, so we scheduled an appt for the next morning. Richard was able to quickly diagnose the problem and had my A/C unit up and running in no time. Quick, efficient and top notch service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend CorTemp to anyone looking for A/C and heating service. When the time comes to replace my A/C or furnace, Richard will be my first call.

Richard has been maintaining our furnace and A/C for years. Last time, he gave me a heads-up that the furnace might fail in the coming months. I was hoping to replace it in the summer but in early April, it died. Still with cold temperatures, Richard offered to come the next day and brought the furnace we had previously agreed upon. Both him and Mike (?) are pleasant, care to explain things, pay attention to detail and cleanup :-) Janice followed up a couple of days later. All is well.

My house was built in 2008 and I've discovered in recent years that the builder took a few short cuts, including installing a cheap base model furnace and air conditioner. I knew at some point I'd have to replace them with decent models and now that I have one child and another on the way, I thought it was time. I contacted five of the top companies on Homestars for heating and cooling in Toronto, and only two responded; I guess the others don't need the business. Richard was one of the people that called and I liked him immediately. He was friendly, he knew his stuff and he didn't try to sell me on models that exceeded my requirements. He also made himself available the same day to check out our house, and once I agreed on a deal for a new Lennox furnace and AC unit, he was able to do the install the very next week and had the entire job done inside five hours. The new AC unit is shockingly quiet! We used to have to blast the TV volume in the basement due to the noise from the old unit but now, you'd think it isn't even turned on. The iComfort thermostat is great as well. I think Richard and his team did a great job and I will hire him again.

Richard scheduled our furnace replacement within a few days of the original quote. He worked quickly to ensure that we qualified for government rebates before the end of last year. He was very easy to get a hold of, explained everything thoroughly, and answered all of our questions. Overall, the level of customer service was beyond fantastic and we would highly recommend CoreTemp to anyone.

Richard and Eric from CoreTemp replaced my 26 year old ac unit with a new Lennox ac. They were very efficient and knowledgeable and had the job done in just over 2 hours . I am happy with the service they provided.
