Service of Rania Tankles hot water, plus Furnace and air conditioner service

I recently had to ask Rick for help with my Ranai hot water tank. He was prompt in his response, came over the next day and helped sort out the problem. I have also used Rick for my furnance and air conditioner service. Rick is very knowledgeable, polite, prompt and effeicient. I fell like my appliances are cared for properly and am confident in their operations. Thanks to Rick and his staff.

Install Tankless Heater & BBQ Gas Line

Had used CoreTemp to fix a problem with my humidifier a couple of years ago. When it was time to replace my regular hot water heater with a tankless, I called CoreTemp back. As always, very prompt replies to my email quote requests, and on-time for appointments to do the quote and install (important for me, as it is tough to arrange to stay home frmo work at any time). Installation was great. Lots attention to detail, and Richard consulated me whenever there was a decision to be made on the routing of pipes, etc. Everything was as tidy as possible; very happy with the product (Rinnai tankless model RC80HPiN), as well as the gas line for a new BBQ. Highly recommended.

    Installed a new furnace.

Richard from CoreTemp replaced an ailing furnace with a new high efficiency Ruud. Richard was straightforward, friendly and professional. - He (or his office) answered the phone and returned all calls and emails in a timely manner - He scheduled appointments efficiently - He was prompt, never late, and never cancelled - The job was neat, the furnace room was left clean - He had modern tools, like a snaking camera to view the inside of the old furnace - He came with a co-op student, which I generally consider to be a good sign. The house is warm, the furnace is quiet, and I'm completely satisfied with the job. There's a reason that all of CoreTemp's reviews are 10s. UPDATE #1: CoreTemp thoughtfully emailed a pdf version of everything I needed to successfully apply for and receive the "SaveOnEnergy" rebate, including instructions to get me through the process. UPDATE #2: When spring came, the air conditioner would not go on. It turns out that when they hooked everything up after replacing the furnace, one of the wires was in the wrong spot. I called CoreTemp. They had a guy at my house in less than 24 hours, and had the problem fixed in 5 minutes at no charge. Every interaction with CoreTemp is great. I highly recommend them.

    Furnace Replacement

We needed a new furnace, did our research and requested quotes from a range of contractors. Richard at CoreTemp responded promptly, was competitively priced and took the time to explain the details. Through a few phone calls he built a rapport that exceeded all others. The service was exceptional, the products top quality and the installation professional. Richard delivered to every word. While many get caught up in the cost - we were glad we focused on the quality of the install and value of the product. We have a contractor we trust and respect - a rarity - making CoreTemp our contractor of choice.

    Furnace repair

After making several calls to various companies who made me dizzy with their service plans, and extra-this-and-that, but not including this-or-that, plus tax, minus pre-pay, up to a certain amount, excluding x, y, and z, I was so relieved to speak to a knowledgeable technician who walked me through a solution in under 5 min. Next time, his number will be at the top of my list.

Tankless hot water heater and furnace installed

We recently decided to get our house insulated and we also had a tankless hot water heater and a new, energy efficient furnace intsalled by Richard. Based on what I've seen written on the internet, it's clear that tankless hot water heaters are a relatively new technology and that they require a trained professional to install them correctly. Richard was very good at explaining the technology for both the water heater and the furnace options we were looking at. We live in a large, drafty old Victorian house and heating the house evenly has always been a challenge. Richard correctly directed us to a furnace which has 14 different cycles and doesn't alternately blast heat and then shut off. He was great at answering questions and Janice was very prompt in following up. Installatioin was done quickly and professionally. We needed an adjustment done to the water condensation line and Richard did it the very day after we called. We would recommend Coretemp to our friends.

    Furnace purchase

I awoke to an indoor temperature of 57 degrees on a cold January day. I called CoreTemp based on the reviews on this site. They came quickly, identified the problems in my old furnace. When I figured out it made little sense to attempt significant repairs they were able to install a new furnace that day. It is working beautifully. Great service, great response time.

    referral to Park Aire

I had my furnace relocated by a contractor. He didn't check the open ceiling above the furnace's new location and covered up a duct to my second floor bathroom. He told me to get a baseboard heater, as he wouldn't fix the problem without more money. I couldn't find anyone willing to take on the job. It is a main source of heat upstairs so for weeks I was sleeping in a hooded parka. Then, I found HomeStars and called three of the top heat companies. One guy came out and gave me a huge quote. He seemed more interested in handing out a CD and catalog about his company than fixing anything. The next company sent a nice guy who said he didn't want to do it, but if I couldn't find anyone he would do it - for a large amount of money. Then I called Coretemp. (Thank God.) They asked me to send pictures and then suggested that I contact Greg at Park Aire. Greg came over and took the time to see what could be done. When he came back, he had the problem fixed in no time. Greg is so thorough, conscientious and easy-going, the whole experience was actually fun. Both of these companies made things so easy that it still seems surreal.

    Tankless waterheater

I contacted Richard in December 2010 to replace my tankless waterheater. Within the same day he came to my house, scoped out the work and had his crew install the new unit. The installation was clean, efficient and he and his men were very courtious. There was a problem with the unit a few days later and Richard was at my home within a couple of hours of my contacting him to deal with the problem.

    HVAC repair and service

We contacted CORETEMP in April of 2010 when our previous HVAC service provider failed to follow-up on a relatively simple problem. CORETEMP'S expert staff quickly identified the problem with our forced-air heating system, came back the same day with the new part, and completed the job on the same day too. Superb service! We immediately notified our previous HVAC service provider that we had made the change to CORETEMP for our heating and air conditioning needs and biannual service, and we've not looked back since! We highly recommend CORETEMP to anyone who asks!
