The Staff were very professional and accommodating. Quick followup for quote. Thorough examination of the present system and explanation of their product. The staff were willing to take the time to explain the qualities of their product. Nice to hear a voice at the end of a phonecall instead of a machine. Arrived promptly on time. Very courtious to family throughout the installation. Explained the process and allowed constant observation throughout. Water heater was slightly dmaged during installation but the workers got it fixed before the day was out. (Called Enbridge who it was rented from and they told me it would take them 2 days before they could come and look at it.) Would reccommend them to anyone. Product is working good so far. M.

We recently moved house and wanted to know whether the existing equipment was suitable. After doing some research on the internet, we called several contractors to come out to the house for a quote and to review the system and spell out what our options were. We found that Richard was very informative and able to answer all of our questions. He reviewed the different options and explained how each one worked. He didn't try to upsell to equipment that we didn't need. Also, we had several questions about the different air-filter systems and even before we had selected Core Temp to perform the work, Richard always made himself available to discuss the different options with us. When it came time for the installation work, Richard and his team were punctual and very considerate. I had just recently installed a new high efficiency furnace from another company that a friend recommended, without doing any research of my own (big mistake!!)As fate would have it, it was the dead of winter and my furnace would not turn over. I have two infant children and the house temperature had dropped to 58 degrees F. I couldn't reach the original installer and my messages were not being returned. At approixmately 11:00pm on a Saturday night, I called an after hours emergency number for Rheem/Rhuud products. They immediately recommended Richard from CoreTemp Heating and Air. I called the number and was fortunate enough to speak directly with Richard. I instantly felt that Richard was the consummate professional. He patiently took the time to walk me through the troubleshooting process, step by step, until the problem was identified and resolved. The rest is history. I have since had CoreTemp install a new air conditioning unit and hepa air filter system in my home. CoreTemp's service has been top notch! I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company to anyone who requires expertise in heating and cooling at a reasonable price. Respectfully, David

I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but I thought Richard & CoreTemp deserved it because of the great job they did. After the first heat wave in July, I finally decided to bite the bullet and invest in a new air conditioner and furnace (turned out to be 2 air conditioner, 2 furnaces and a water heater) . After getting several quotes from all the top rated companies on Homestars, I was torn between CoreTemp and another highly rated company. I decided on Richard in the end because I knew he would be doing the job, whereas the majority (if not all) of the companies have a different person give you a quote versus do the job. His service was also fabulous, always being available (day or night) to answer questions about the job. If I have any friends who need to replace their air con or furnace, I'll definitely refer them to Richard.

Lost our A/C in middle of heat wave (came back from vacation to a 32 deg. house); Richard was there in less than 30 minutes! (after business hours); tried repairing right then(back next day to try another part - condenser shot); thoroughly explained options; team in 3 days later to replace A/C and (26yrold) furnace - fast; courteous; friendly; honest... will highly recommend to friends and family!!!

Had water leaking from furnace, Coretemp returned call to answering service immediately, and came over to service the problem the same day (almost had problem fixed before other service firms I had left messages with returned my call!). Problem was identified quickly (low levels of AC freon) and fixed on the spot, by a polite and professional serviceman who explained the problem clearly.

I was overdue to have our furnace and AC inspected, since buying the house 3 years ago we haven't had it looked at. Chose CoreTemp thanks to these reviews. Had an initial bump around scheduling that was quickly resolved by the owner. On the service day technician Jason showed up exactly on time, worked quickly and showed me the ins and outs of our furnace and AC. Explained maintenance and what to watch for. Very informative and friendly, open to questions. Overall, I am very impressed with these folks. I will continue to use them, and when the time comes for serious heating repair or replacement work, they top my list.

Called to ask about leaking furnace and got advise over the phone at no charge! Everyone else wanted to charge me $100 to just diagnose. Highly recommended. Very honest person, which is hard to find in this business.

We had coretemp replace our 25+ year old natural-gas furnace with a new Rudd natural-gas furnace and central air. Richard was always available whenever I called to ask questions (which I did often!) and Janice made the scheduling pain-free all over email. The job was done on time, on budget, as expected and without any hiccups. I wish all contractors were this good. We are 100% satisfied! Quick update: in December of 2012 my furnace stopped giving off heat. Upon inspection I noticed that there was an error code flashing on the furnace's main board. I called CoreTemp and 45 minutes after my call Richard walked me through the problem over the phone. Turns out the drainage pipe had been bumped out of place and wasn't allowing water to drain from the furnace. I should note that at the time Richard was on vacation outside of the country but he still immediately called to help me fix the problem. Top notch service!
