I contacted Core Temperture yesterday afternoon and Richard answered the phone (NO ANSWERING SERVICE!!!). I told him that my furnace wasn't cycling properly and he gave me some idea of what the problem could be and was out to fix it first thing this morning. He told me that the sensor needed to be cleaned and explained that the thermostat might also be causing some problems. He checked for cracks and even showed me what he was inspecting. He explained what he was doing step by step. Since he left the furnace has been running smoothly. I would definitely call Core Temp again. Great customer service - Thanks Richard.

We bought a house that was 25 years old. The first thing we did after buying was to conduct an Energy Audit and start looking for a contractor to change the furnace and AC. I also started researching tankless hot water systems. Searching online, I contacted 3 contractors. Richard was the only person to call me back. He immediately indicated that he was not a salesperson but would help me however he could. He took over an hour on the phone to explain the system. He might not be a salesperson but he did a heck of a job 'selling' me on the benefits of a tankless hot water heater and his services. When he mentioned that he could also install the furnace and AC, I invited him over to look things over and explain what would be needed. On the day in question, Richard and Chris arrived on time (very early in the morning) and started to work on installing the AC outside. The job was finished in two days as promised. During those two days, Richard and Chris were very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. The left the area in which they worked as clean as when they arrived. After the work was completed, I called Richard a number of times for various reasons. On every call, he was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. It has now been over a year and we are extremely satisfied with the work provided by CoreTemp. I would recommend Richard and his team to anyone, anytime. In fact, I have on a number of occasions. :-) They are a top notch company.

There were many issues at my new house. Richard gave me helpful options, repaired what he didn't need to replace. Re-used some parts when he could... All to keep the costs down as that was a criteria for me. After that - I called them for minor repairs, advice and then, a furnace, tankless system for me and 3 of my friends! They are very trustworthy and knows all the makes and models. I will use them anytime I have HVAC needs!

Great, friendly service. I like when the boss shows up and works alongside his crew! They showed up when they said they would, got the job done efficiently and stuck to the price even when there were unexpected extras. They came back for a minor adjustment at no extra cost too.

We had a problem with our furnace and we called Richard to take a look at the furnace. It turned out that our furnace had cracks in it and it had to be red-tagged. He showed me where the cracks were located. Richard was very knowledgeable on the products and explained how everything worked so we decided to replace the A/C and the water heater with the furnace. We have been deciding to due this for some time. Richard immediately juggled his schedule. Richard and Janice made everything very easy for me as far as helping me book my energy audit and setting up my rebates. Richard's employees were also very knowledgeable, professional and very friendly and made me very comfortable when they arrived with Richard to install the new equipment. The job took several days to complete. Richard treats his clients as if they were his own family. Job well done.

i am very pleased with the relationship i had with core temp heating, they were on time and very good at installing the furnace, i would recommend core temp heating to all my friends and anybody else who needs a furnace installed. thank you very much core temp heating

My husband and I decided we were going to make 2009 our year of renovating. We found Coretemp on Homestars and were happy with the reviews we read. I contacted Richard and had him come by to discuss replacing and installing a new furnace, A/C and Rinnai tankless water heater. Richard was very knowledgeable on the products and explained how everything worked. So even I could understand the workings of these machines. Richard and Janice made everything very easy for me as far as helping me book my energy audit and setting up my rebates. I'd looked at the on-demand systems but never felt comfortable spending 3000 for a relatively new technology (in Canada) - Richard from Coretemp took the time to explain the systems and the real and perceived benefits. The job took 1/2 a day to complete, the system has been totally transparent to my family and I've already noticed the benefit of not having to take a cold shower in the morning. The job was done really well. Thanks Richard, your clear explanations of the pros/cons was much appreciated.

As a residential contractor I require an HVAC company that I can rely upon. Coretemp has been that company for the last couple of years and I have hired them to undertake furnace and AC installations as well as ductwork rough-ins. They have been consistently professional and dependable and I would not hesitate to recommend them to other contractors or homeowners.

Furnace failed, Richard came out, explained and showed me what was wrong (heat exchanger had visible holes in it). Coretemp replaced the furnace next day - the quote was very competitive, a few calls to other companies confirmed this. When I went down to look at the furnace, the room was tidy, no garbage on the floor, no piles of debris, it was spotless - a good extra indicator of the care he takes to make sure the customer experience is top notch. Best thing is how Richard explains the problem, shows the solution, and then takes the time to ensure I understand the why and how of both the problem and the solution. Richard has shown himself to be an honest and trustworthy person.
