I called CLI Electric a few weeks ago because my kitchen and bathroom GFCI outlets were not working. Steve came by that evening and was able to trouble shoot and correct the issues quickly. Great service and expertise! Thank you Steve for coming to my rescue.

We hired CLI Electric to complete our electrical renovation. One word comes to mind and that is PERFECTION. The job was a total basement renovation and it meant a lot of new wiring and removal of old wiring, new switches, outlets and pot lights. Steve and his crew were the most pleasant and professional tradesmen I have ever worked with, they were incredible. Call them it will be the best decision you ever make.

I don’t know where to begin but all I can say is that they exceeded all of my expectations. Not only was the quote competitive but the work from start to finish was perfection. After buying our home we discovered that there was still knob and tube wiring present which was a surprise because we had an inspection done and the inspector didn’t mention anything about it. We were very stressed and disheartened. A co-worker recommended CLI to me so I called had Steve come out to give me a quote. I also had a few other companies out for a quote but in the end I felt Steve was the best choice, he arrived in a proper work van with company lettering, took notes and explained the process and what they had to do. He was very professional. They started on the agreed start date and finished the job within our deadline for moving in, which was tight. Steve and his crew are true experts at what they do. The holes they had to make to fish the wire were small (I was having visions of huge pieces of walls missing, but that was not the case). When I came by at the end of the first day I was surprised that the holes were so small. I went home completely elated!!! Throughout the entire process Steve kept me up-to-date on the progress and answered any questions I had. At the end of the job the inspector came out for the inspection and everything passed with no issues whatsoever. He even stopped to admire the minimal damage that was done and said we were lucky that we chose CLI because he has seen some rewires where all the drywall had to be replaced. Steve came back for the finishing and patching of the holes. They left our home move in ready, I mean it was spotless!!!! Steve is very down to earth and trustworthy. We plan on having him come back to install some pot lights in the near future. We will be recommending CLI Electric to everyone.

I had Steve from CLI Electric complete a service upgrade to 100amps. They do amazing quality work and are very efficient and reliable. Steve took care of all permits and scheduling. The pricing was competitive and the service is superior. Thank you CLI Electric for a positive experience. Definitely recommend this company.

Biggest ice storm in Toronto caused a massive tree branch to come down and take out our service pipe and wire. I found CLI Electric here on Homestars. I couldn’t believe that they were open since all the others I tried were closed. When Steve answered the phone this morning I did my happy dance! He was already working in my area and was able to squeeze me in later in the day despite having many other calls to go to. My neighbor down the street drove by and saw his truck. He came by while Steve and Adam were doing the work and scheduled him to come the next day. The guys worked quick and the workmanship is top quality. I recommend CLI Electric without any hesitation, they are a great bunch of guys!!

CLI Electric saved Christmas!!! Like many residents of Toronto my service was taken out by a falling tree during the ice storm. I called CLI Electric Sunday afternoon and Steve got back to me that evening. I didn’t have power but I knew once the hydro came back I would need an electrician to do the service. Steve advised me to call him back once my area had power again, which was Monday. I scheduled for him to come out the next day. All I can say is that I was extremely lucky to book him. While he was here his phone was ringing non-stop, no doubt from many others in the same predicament. They were quick in getting the service fixed and I certainly did appreciate their holiday spirit!! Our tree lights are back on and the prime rib is in the oven, all thanks to Steve and his incredible crew. Really I can’t thank these guys enough. I will be singing their praises to everyone.

I am a senior and a widow, so when I started having multiple electrical issues in my home I became very worried. My husband had always looked after these things. I called my son who lives out of town and asked for his advice and he recommended that I call CLI electric. Steve came out the next day and fixed the wire which had burned in the wall (apparently it was a fire hazard). He explained to me that my home had knob and tube wiring and recommended that it should be changed to new updated wiring, he also recommended that I upgrade from a fuse box to a panel with breakers. I called my son and explained what Steve had told me. My son said it would be a good idea for Steve to upgrade everything and that I could trust him not to take advantage of an senior like me. Steve sent the quote to my son and after speaking with him he said it was a fair price and that Steve had also applied a seniors discount, which was lovely of him. All of the gentlemen that did the work were so polite, they didn’t use foul language or smoke in my home which I appreciated. They were very respectful of me and my furnishings, they covered everything every day and cleaned up at the end of every day. I now feel safe in my home of 45+ years. Steve is a lovely fellow and I recommend him to everyone looking for a trustworthy and honest electrician.

CLI Electric was doing repair work on our street for our neighbor’s service so we approached them about doing ours as well. Steve was friendly and helpful and we are so grateful for the amazing fast and professional work he and his team did in repairing our service stack. I already referred him to our family members that need the same work done. I highly recommend them.

Like many residents in my neighborhood my house didn’t escape unscathed from the ice storm that hit last weekend. Steve and his crew repaired the service which had been damaged by downed tree branches. They worked diligently in sub freezing temperatures and I really appreciated their positive attitudes and great sense of humor during this stressful time. I was in the process of building a new 3500sq./ft home and the contractor I had initially hired ended up being a nightmare to deal with. Enter CLI Electric, they were referred to me by my lawyer who had used them on his own projects and said I couldn’t go wrong using them. Seeing as I did not want to experience the same nightmare all over again I gave Steve a call. In all honesty Steve his team were like angels from heaven, not only did they show up on time on the start day as promised, but their accountability and knowledge are unmatched. Although they were a bit more expensive the few dollars more were definitely worth it. No headaches or hassles whatsoever. That’s what you can expect from these guys, true professionalism and peace of mind which is great value as far as I am concerned. I am looking forward to working with CLI Electric on my forthcoming project next spring. Stop searching and call them, you won’t regret it.
