    fence project

I moved to my new house on July 2014 and was engaged by my new neighbors to find a fence contractor to build the fence. Fortunately, I found CAN DO’s Ad on my area. So I contacted its sales manager Alon Zamdvaiz at the beginning of September. Alon came to meet with us after one week. His professional attitude and knowledge about fence make all of our 14 neighbors decide to go with CAN DO for the fence project. Its survey liability, WSIB insurance, and 5 years warranty leave us a peace of mind. He promised fence can be done by the end of Oct, 2014. Actually they finished it professionally one week ahead of due day. It is a great pleased experience to work with a fence & deck company like CAN DO. We all know it is not always easy to find a company like it. Thanks Alon for all he did and definitely you can count on him if you want to build the fence.

    Fence

After seeing some of the work completed by Can Do at a friends home, I contacted Can Do and was quickly in contact with Alon. I explained to Alon that we were looking to have a privacy fence completed for the majority of the street, and he began by coordinating a first meeting with the homes that I had indicated interest to me, as well as providing invitations to all homes on the street. Although we had some neighbours who were not able to commit to the project on the first attempt, after some persistence of Alon and my own, we were able to get completion of a 20+ home project. Along the way, Alon was very clear about the work to be completed (materials to be used, method of installation, extra options available), and was very well versed in his explanations to all neighbours questions. The workers were very efficient and workmanship was excellent. Cleanup, post installation, was very thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend Can Do Fence & Deck.

    Fencing

Our neighbourhood was looking for a fence so we took the responsibility of starting the project. We contacted a few different companies but learnt quickly that Can Do was the best option. They were quick to respond to all inquiries and set up the contracts for the project within a short period of time. Alon the sales rep was AMAZING to deal with, we hit some bumps with neighbours and Alon took a great deal of time to get them and the project together and on time. The fence in the neighbourhood of over 30 houses looks great and even after the project was complete Alon still contacted us to make sure that we were satisfied with the final fence. I would recommend dealing with Alon for any fencing needs in the future. He is extremely quick to respond and will ensure that you are 100% happy with your project and answer all questions.

    Fence

I contacted Alon at CanDo Fence and Deck and arranged a neighbourhood meeting in May of 2014. Alon showed up and spoke to us about the process of building the Fence. Some of the neighbours were moving which caused a delay of a about 4 months. Samer at CanDo returned in Sept after the neighbours signed the contract. After the signing things moved quickly - the posts were up within a few days and the remainder of the Fence within the following week. Overall, we had a great experience with CanDo and they built us a great quality Fence. CanDo didn't want any deposit - "pay us when the work is done", they said. This says a lot about a company and how they back up their work. We are very happy with the Fence and are in talks with Alon about building a Deck. Thanks again to Alon and Samer at CanDo - they did a great job.

    Fence and deck

The neighbors on our street began interviewing contractors in July 2014 with the hopes of having a fence built by the end of the summer. Out of 3 potential contractors, CanDo Fence and Deck stood out above the rest in many ways. 1) Professionalism and Knowledge: The sales manager Alon Zamdvaiz was excellent to deal with. He was respectful of everyone’s time and with over 16 families present at the initial consult, getting everyone's attention was challenging. Unlike the other sales reps, Alon spoke to the entire group explaining everything from the pricing, payment options, contract submission, warranty, style, process to build and timelines. Not only did this allow all neighbors to receive the exact same information, but it also provided an open forum for neighbors to ask questions or raise concerns and Alon provided the response to the entire group. With the other contractors, many of us received conflicting information or missed some because they spoke to people individually. 2) Quality and Price: There’s an expression “Price is only an issue in the absence of quality”. While CanDo was not the cheapest contractor (although they are highly competitive), when we toured the neighborhoods to compare the work of the contractors in the area, again CanDo was by far the best. I was particularly impressed with the finishing touches, including edging around the fence and deck, as well as the gate inserts. 3) Service: CanDo does not require deposits in order to start the project. They require payment once the project is complete and provide their customers with several payment options. They prepared the contracts and distributed them to the neighbors who had expressed interest. For our lot, one of our neighbors hadn’t attended any of the sales meetings which meant a contract hadn’t been prepared for them. My husband and I were able obtain the neighbors support and CanDo worked with us to ensure a proper contract was issued to our neighbor so that we wouldn’t have to seek reimbursement. We also decided to build a deck at the same time. We shared our vision with Alon and he helped us finalize the design for the look and feel we wanted. Although they promise project completion within 30 days from the date the contract is signed (in the absence of bad weather), we had our fence and deck built in under 2 weeks. In fact both were built within a 3 day window! Once the deck was built, and we started to use it, we realized we wanted to make a change. Alon worked with us to help document the changes, and negotiate a fair cost to make that happen. The changes were made to the deck in under a week. Alon was extremely responsive to any emails or phone calls. I have yet to work with someone who is some timely in their replies. I would highly recommend CanDo Fence and Deck.

    Fencing

As a newly developed neighbourhood, myself and the 16 homeowners around our block wanted to enjoy the summer in the comfort and privacy of our own backyards. Here is where the task of finding someone to do the fencing began. I took on the role of finding a company while I had the assistance of my neighbours, and we had contacted numerous fencing companies. Amongst those companies was CanDo Fence and Deck. They stood out to us in terms of price, quality, and service. My neighbours and I were surprised to find out that Can do did not require a deposit and that payment was only required upon completion of the project. We held a neighbourhood meeting where we got to meet and speak to Alon (sales manager from Can Do fence). Alon was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and concerns. Can Do promised to finish the job 30 days from signing the contract but they actually finished doing fencing for 17 houses in just 7 days! We were all so happy with the clean and professional job they did! We still get people driving by and stopping to compliment our fence and gates! Can Do was the best choice for us when it came to getting our fences done and we highly recommend their work to anyone and everyone! Can Do can and will get the job done and we want to thank them for doing an outstanding job on our fences. Being the 4th phase development by our builders, we are glad to be the first neighbourhood to be fully fenced! Thank you Alon and Can do Fences

    Fence

My wife and I have been looking forward to our new gate and fence since we moved into this new community. Thanks to Can Do Fence and the sales manager, Alon Zamdvaiz, we got it yesterday. I was the coordinator for our community. Being a coordinator was quite challenging but it gave me an opportunity to know more about my neighbors. One of our neighbors was on vacation for two weeks. The project was a bit late to start with. After all the contracts were received, Alon managed to organize a team of workers to start the work in just a couple of days. We have eighteen units in our community, surprisingly all the posts were planted in just one day. The workers were very professional, well organized and pay attention to the fine details. I was extremely pleased with the work. Now I can enjoy my private garden.

    Fencing

Alon was great to deal with and was spot on from initial connection to timing of fence completion. Team was organized and quick to complete the project. Contracts and meeting with Neighbours were well planned and company facilitated drop off and pick up. Very detailed explanation of options and impact to cost and quality and flexible design selection for each individual yard. I recommend this company to anyone looking to install a fence in the GTA.

    Fence and Deck

The strongest assets of this company are Samer (fence design) and Alon (deck design), both of whom were friendly, cooperative, innovative and professional. Samer showed great patience as he coordinated the needs of 17 neighbours who were sharing the cost of the fence and all of whom had their own concerns. The fence was done earlier than scheduled without mess or damage to the grass. It really looks great - overall a great experience. The deck was a slightly different story with issues arising, mostly surrounding communication (when they were to start, not showing up on days they said they would be there, etc). Read the review of August 19 from Milton, our experience was similar. However, with this adversity came the opportunity for redemption and this is where Can Do, more specifically Alon, proved their character. Our barbecue was broken during the deck construction and required a $60 part for repair. Alon offered to pay out of his own pocket if the company would not pay, which they did. It is hard to find this level commitment and is a true measure of Can Do's reputation. In the end, we love both the deck and the fence. Alon made some great design suggestions and the finished work far exceeded our expectations. We feel we made the right choice and would highly recommend them. One other small drawback, we are still finding cigarette butts on the property a month after the work was completed - get some ashtrays!!!

    Deck

In late spring (2014) I contacted Alon Zamdvaiz of Can Do Fence & Deck. Having positive experience with Alon and this company for fencing, I made this contact without hesitation. We met in mid-Jul. I knew it was late in the year to make contact, but it was fine with me could the deck not be done til Fall, or even the following spring. When Alon asked, I did say it would be great if it could be done by end Aug since i am having company from overseas. Never did i imagine this date to be even remotely which possible. Richmond Hill requires a permit for decks - even ground floor ones -which necessitates plans. This meant more time for the architect to do this since they are also incredibly busy. What was expected within 2 weeks, took more than 5. Now the end-Aug date was definitely not on my radar screen. However, Alon worked some unknown magic, and by the last week in Aug the deck was done, the inspector came for the final inspection of the work, and being satisfied she informed me that the deck will be signed off on, making the deck legal. Due to the lot shape, the holes for the foundation were done by hand by 6 men. With the inspectors permission, the concrete was poured. The inspector wanted the ground razed, and a worker did this. Afterwards the deck itself was built, This was not a slap it together and call it a day job. The pride in the workmanship was, and is. obvious. Every person who worked on this deck was polite, competent, respectful, and careful. The clean-up was not overlooked and was treated with the same pride. Thank you Alon. For everything. Including the magic of getting this deck done so fast despite your, and Can Do's crazy busy schedule. The only disappointment has nothing to do with Can Do, but rather with Canadian regulations. I had wanted a Trex deck and railings largely because of the minimal maintenance this product requires, but, apparently, while the deck floor itself can be done with Trex, the railings are not legal in Canada although it is in the US. Rather than have 2 different materials, I opted out of Trex altogether and went with pressure treated wood even though that requires much more maintenence and is also nowhere near as environmentally responsible.
