    Livable dormer extension on second floor

    Paul and his crew are simply amazing - fast, tidy, smart, fun (!), with attention to details and rock-solid conscience. His guidance before and during the work was always friendly, clear and right. And the execution was just as great - the project was on time, on budget and perfectly executed. To those who've had issues with contractors before, you know that trust is one of the most important factors. I'm glad to say that Paul fully deserves to be trusted, both personally and for the quality of his work. I would absolutely recommend Paul to anyone, and will call on him again for future work. Paul: you have my number and feel free to give it to any prospective clients who'd like a reference. And to prospective clients reading this review: book Paul early and enjoy the results!

    basement framing

    Paul offered a fair price. Our project was on a tight schedule and Paul was very understanding and helpful. His worker began and completed the project on time and with excellent craftsmanship. I will be using their services again for other projects in the house.

    Framing of first storey/ basement addition

    Paul was hired by my general contractor to prepare the framing for our first storey/basement addition in April. It was nice to find a skilled contractor who shows up early, works hard and finishes the project on time and on budget. He had instant solutions to a couple of last minute changes. Paul is a professional and has a great sense of humor. I will definitely use Paul's services on any future projects

    Second Storey Addition

    I would give Paul an 11 rating if I could. I am acting as a general contractor for a significant second storey addition to my own house. I have done this before and I know the demolition and framing is the most critical trade. I was pleased to find PTR on Homestars. He knows his stuff, he communicates well and he is able to deal with unexpected challenges during the job. Pricing and quality are excellent Even before the job started Paul added value by seeing opportunities and issues from the plans we presented. Also, during the job, he can add value to what is in the plans. His whole team was a pleasure to deal with - very conscientious. He and his team have a great pace to their work, always moving the job along, overcoming challenges. We delayed our project start by a month so that we could use him and I am so glad we did.

    Straighten Floor Joists

    Paul came out to my house to take on a very small job with very short notice. I needed to block a couple of floor joists and get one joist straightened which was twisted. The work was done in no time at all, all mess was cleaned up, and Paul made sure I was happy with everything before he left. Not only was the work first class, but Paul was an absolute pleasure to talk to. He made time to take on a very small job, but it made a big difference for me.

    Structural Repairs

    We called Paul based on the reviews here and we were thrilled we did. Paul responded right away and was over to give us a quote as soon as we had our drawings done. He committed to a date and completed the job ahead of schedule. The work Paul and his team performed was flawless and true to our plans. They were careful, clean and respectful of our house, our neighbors and of us. His final bill was the same as his quote. I would highly recommend Paul and will definitely have him back for any other work we have pop up. Thanks Paul! It was a genuine pleasure to work with you.

    Remove and Replace wooden support columns with steel jackposts

    Paul assisted me with some structural work related to the renovation of my family and living rooms. He was extremely professional, efficient, and dependable! Thanks for the terrific, hassle free assistance, Paul!

    FRAME AND LEVEL 100 yr old DOWNTOWN HOME

    Paul was a pleasure to work with. He is EASY to communicate with, polite and direct, he replied promptly when contacted before, during and after the job. He did an AMAZING job leveling our floors, ceilings and framing the walls on our main floor. The entire space which was off by several inches throughout is now PERFECT within an 1/8 inch across the whole span. He was super FAST (3 days) which reduced the stress on our family (baby, 4 yr old, dog) and neighbours. He is a true PROFESSIONAL, shows up on time, works hard throughout, cleans up after himself. His quote and final bill were the same and the breakdown of costs transparent. We will hire him again and RECOMMEND him highly! - BTW we found him via Homestars - Chris B. Roncesvalles

    Raising a sub floor (living Room to be leveled with Dinning room)

    I have received many quotes to raise my living room floor to be on the same level as my dinning room (one big room). Every contractor I called took days to get back to me and in some cases months to give a quote. When I did get it there was no breakdown on materials or plan on how they where going to do the job. Paul is the only one that called me back right away and gave a quote with exactly what he will need for the job. He told me the job would start 8-8:30 showed up exactly 8AM raised my floor and than also leveled my dinning room (not part of the contract) at no extra cost. He also removed my archway dividing the living room and the dinning room what fantastic work. I would use him again in a heartbeat and wouldn’t let anyone I know use anyone else. Paul is honest, thorough, and clean and gives a price that is very fair.

    basement framed

    I found Paul's ad while searching kijiji for someone to frame my basement. This guy is extremely professional and the quality of workmanship is second to none. Paul, we'll see you in the spring to complete the other 2 jobs! Thanks again, The Sorbara Family
