I met Vitaliy and 2 other RYR competitors last year to give me a quote to replace my old roof including eaves troughs & gutters on my back split house. RYR was the first who I invited as they worked on a roof in my neighbourhood. Vitaliy assess the work that I wanted to be done and made his recommendation about shingles to purchase and explained the installation process. I checked reviews of the shingles that Vitaliy had recommended and realized it was a very good quality brand. I also invited the other two respectful companies to quote my roof with the same shingles and the same scope of work. One company gave me almost a double price (I guess because of extended warranty and more expensive miscellaneous materials), the other company was a bit more expensive than RYR and couldn’t commit to do the same scope of work that I needed. This year I invited Vitaliy again and we went through the all details regarding the roof replacement process and I hired the company. It was a pleasure to deal with both Vitaliy in the field and an admin woman over the phone. Vitaliy was patient with me and answered all my questions. Crew showed up and finished the job as per the schedule. They fixed my kitchen ventilation and installed a proper vent on the roof. I didn’t even know that I had a problem there. Workers left area around my house cleaned. I received 10 year warranty certificate. I think, based on the customer service, price, and materials that company use, RYR is the right choice. I’ll hire this company again.

The crew came in good time. They worked efficiently and cleaned up well behind them. The place looks great and their price was in line with other quotes. We would certainly hire them again.

The roof on my home is a combination regular and flat roof. It was about 20 years old and it had exposed wood and required re-shingling. I obtained three quotes to have my roof done. Bruce Windsor of Royal York Roofing came by to give me an estimate and explained the process in detail. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, professional and responsive. Being that it is summer time and prime roofing season he told me that it would be about three weeks before my roof could be done. True to his word the work was started promptly after three weeks. It was completed in three days and they did an amazing job. I had a couple of minor issues that were resolved quickly by Bruce. Royal York Roofing's quote was competitive and reasonable. I was extremely pleased with the result and I would recommend them to friends and family.

We had an old, ponding flat roof that needed replacing. Bruce came around and patiently explained the work that was required without high pressure sales pitches, which I appreciated, as well as the reasonable price he quoted. They carried out the work quickly, efficiently and to a high degree of quality. They did everything they said they would do and we were left very satisfied. We would recommend them to friends if asked for a roofer.

We had our roof replaced in May, 2014 in Oakville. We asked RYR to perform the work right after the closing date on our house. Sure enough, they came in the next day, fortunately the weather cooperated, and fixed our roof in half a day! The staff was friendly, exceptional work ethics, and unbelievably effective. They absolutely clean up and did not leave a single nail around the house. Every aspect of the work and pricing was clearly explained to us and all recommendations with regards to the repair were fair, trustworthy, and accurate. I will recommend them to all my friends. I will definitely opt for their service next time.

After we had our differences when the initial work was completed, we had a leak from what we thought was their work. Each time we called they sent someone over immediately ( I think I called four times total) to discuss our concerns and check on the roof, all free of charge. After the last visit they had insisted it was the siding and i refused to believe them, we removed the siding and they were 100% correct. It was the backing on the siding that was letting water in, not the roof that they replaced. They knew we were frustrated so they took the time to go over everything even though we had them come back 4 times! Pavel and his team proved their professionalism and that even though we had our differences they stand behind their product and their workmanship, and will continue to provide support to keep their customers happy.

We obtained several quotes to replace our old asphalt roof and decided to go with Royal York roofing based on their strong Home Stars reviews and experience working on houses in Toronto's older neighbourhoods. Bruce provided a detailed quote and was very knowledgeable. The crew arrived on time and completed the job on schedule, all the while being very conscientious about the state of our home and gardens. We are very happy with the finished product and would have no reservations recommending RYR to our friends and neighbours.

We had our roof replaced last fall. The representatve that came to our house explained it very clearly to us and made us feel comfortable with the product. The company came and started the job. They found a few surprises and they were quick to call and explain the situation. Unfortunately, is was going to cost us considerately more than we had anticipated. The job was completed and the roof looked good. We did have some damage done to our siding. The representative did come and look at it and just said that because it was an older roof, and had a few layers, they had no choice in doing what they did. His response was disappointing. There was no offer to try and repair the damage.
