Recently we underwent a major renovation project with Trentco Construction. We went from a 1.5 storey to a full 2 storey house. We completely gutted the 2nd level and added 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 being an en suite), a linen closet and a walk in closet. We also ordered all new windows and re-modeled the exterior of our house. This was the second renovation project we used Trent for. We were very happy with our experience once again. Trent is reliable, honest, a hard worker and most importantly on time with his renovation projects. He makes sure everything gets done to our satisfaction and truly takes pride in his projects. He is very by the book and keeps a very clean and safe worksite. By the time Trent was done, most of our neighbourhood knew who he was as he is a very friendly person. I would not hesitate to recommend Trent for any project. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely work with Trent again for future projects.

We live in an older house. The main bedroom was super cold. Trent's crew gutted the place and had spray insulation put in the ceiling and walls. Being an older home, we wanted the old baseboards kept since they don't make them like that any more. Trent said he'd do his best but warned us to expect that they'd break when being removed. The job included sound barrier insulation between us and our neighbour, exposing the brick on the chimney that ran through the room, putting in 2 built in closets, adding more electrical outlets and new flooring. As always, something comes up when we're getting work done on our house. First - there was some knob and tube which surprised us. He called in an electrician who took care of it. Next, he wondered why the floor had a slope. Apparently "don't all old houses have a slope?" isn't the right answer. He found that there was a foundation beam in the basement that was rotten. Somehow he managed to get all the right people looking at it, get permits, get the work done and inspected in what feels like very little time at all. So now our bedroom is warm in winter and cool in summer plus our house isn't going to fall down! And... he saved the original baseboard and had it refinished. I had a complaint with the bedroom window - the screen and a couple of clips got damaged. He couldn't get replacement parts, but we came to an agreement and he installed a new window. Which ended up being pretty awesome because it opened so much easier than the old one (all our windows require a lot to open them). I recommend Trent and am always surprised when he calls me back because this house is a lot of unexpected work.

Trent did a couple of jobs for me a few years ago. I have been trying yo write a review for him but never got the time here I am now. Price is good, job quality is good and always keeps the schedule, which is rare these days. I know I am picky and he can address my issues every time. You will not regret if you hire this company.

Trentco did a great job on our basement, both underpinning and basement finishing as a Secondary in-law suite all to code for that purpose. Most of all Trent is very trustworthy and cares about his work and has followed up many times and helped make some fine tuning adjustments. Basement looks great and is very comfy and well thought out. Trent touched base most days throughout the process and always kept us informed of what was happening and any unexpected items so he could work together with us to solve things that undoubtedly come up in a massive project like this. We had significant issues due to groundwater that caused the project to run over budget and over time, but at all times Trent was doing what he could to safely move the project along and keep us informed. Only reason for not a full 10 was that we wish some longer term issues and delays were identified a bit sooner, but we do know Trent was working to avoid those delays and it was a tough situation he faced. We will be looking to him and his team for future work or renovations without hesitation. THANKS TRENT

After Trent's excellent job on our full kitchen Reno it was a no brainer to ask Trent to Reno our bathroom. I had some ideas and Trent helped make them happen. Having an old house there are always unforseen problems. Trent was able to solves these issues. I have always found Trent to be very open in his business dealings. His work shows his skill and care. I have recommended him to friends, and will use him for any future Renos.

This review is long over due. After Trentco did such a great job renovating our bedroom, we did not hesitate in calling them again when we decided to renovate our basement. Trentco did an amazing job transforming our basement from a dungeon we dreaded spending time in. It is now the nicest part of our house. Our basement is a place we now play as a family, have guests stay over, do laundry in, and watch TV. Trent and his team's attention to detail is unparalleled. They believe in doing things right the first time and it is evident in how the finished product turned out. They stayed on budget, on time, and they were more than willing to accommodate modifications we made along the way. Trent is honest, trustworthy, and above all else, he wanted to ensure that we were satisfied as clients. Trent was always available by phone and ready to explain the renovation process every step of the way. Trent and his team were kind to our children and we did not hesitate going away on vacation while they were working. We definitely plan on calling them again the next time the renovation bug hits us.

Trent and his team recently gave our kitchen a face lift and we couldn't be happier. The price was reasonable and Trent was very organized, efficient and professional...the project was completed within a record breaking 2 weeks! We have already contracted Trent to tackle a much larger project where he'll be expanding our 2nd floor at some point this year.

We were in a bind during a bathroom renovation that required us to seek out a contractor to finish on scope creep. Trent was quick to respond and provided us with what we felt was a reasonable and fair quote. He fit us into his schedule and was responsive throughout the project. We would be more than happy to work with Trent and his team again.

We contracted with Trentco after watching Trent and his crew complete a 2-storey addition to the house across the street. We were completely satisfied with the job -- the guys came on time every day and did a great job. The project was done on time and at the quoted price. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We had a family of raccoons that was ripping through our exterior wall. Having dealt with Trent before I asked for his availability as an ASAP job. Our outer wall had to be ripped out, replaced and brought up to code. Meanwhile, while that was open we decided we might as well do that laundry room conversion we'd always wanted. Trent increased the R value under the back room as well and fixed our drafts while he was at it (also redid some venting). Plumbing, venting and build out all done within a week and no more worries about raccoons getting in. He also disassembled and removed our old washer/dryer which was stuck in the basement due to size constraints. Great value and timing on all services.
