    Dining table top

    Our mahogany dining table top had openings/cracks due temperature changes in the home and would creek when pressure applied. TMC did a very good job of eliminating the cracks and creeks. As the restoration is very recent (June/2018), only time will tell whether the job is lasting. AC

    Antique chair

    The work done was exceptional. The chair was returned before the expected date which was great. Follow up with the steps before delivery. Over all very professional service

    HELD MY BREATH BUT DELIGHTED!

    We just received 2 tables back today. A Harvest-style kitchen table and a 150 yr + family heirloom dining room table that seats 16 + people! Reviews are spotty on some websites so I had some misgivings. The dining table was of great emotional significance to us. A childhood table from South Africa - it was gifted to us 27 years ago as a wedding present from my late parents. Over the years - and through climate changes from Africa to Canada - it has been badly battered. Scratches, heat, warping and fading. 4 massive leaves, an old crank system and many decades of wonderful memories swirled around this table. My Father's wish was always "when we could afford it" to have this table restored to its original grandeur. We finally took the plunge and the older sales man - David - did a great job convincing us that 5K would be well spent on this big job. And they would refinish the top of our kitchen "Harvest Table" as well. The big day arrived and the 2 tables were returned TODAY. WOW! The dining table is nothing short of magnificent! This huge beast is so beautiful now - nary a heat or scratch mark/ missing chunk of wood/warp/any damage visible. Beautiful rich even colour tone across the table + leaves. Formerly faded legs - rich and full again. We are over the moon! The kitchen table looks brand new! It had been faded and scratched by raising 3 kids and now looks as lovely as the day we purchased it. TMC, Tino, Restorers, Delivery Chaps and Team - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I am a fan and could not be more pleased. My wife actually had tears in her eyes as she looked at the dining table. We could not be more pleased. What a first rate job and worth every penny of the $5000.00 Keep up the good work. I take great pleasure in highly recommending this amazing company.

It's true, depending on the condition of pieces (level of neglect, environmental factors etc.) the cost of quality furniture restoration can be high.     Only had the sofa done but not the woodwork.

    Excellent workmanship. Took more time than projected. 16 weeks rather than 12 but very satisfied. Wanted to get the 2 chairs and ottoman done but the cost was prohibitive. Salesman would/could not drop price. Caution, if you want other pieces done it is best to have them done all at once to get the best price.

    Dining Room table repair

    Our dining room table leg split from the table top where the legs join the table. It is a very heavy table. It was a tricky split and Tino came to our house and examined it and tried to fix it - to no avail. He arranged for the table to be picked up and taken away for repair. He gave us 2 options - one more expensive than the other. We elected the more expensive option. The table was picked up and repaired and delivered back to us in time for Christmas. We used TMC years ago to completely refinish the same table, so it looks new. We are very pleased with the work and would recommend TMC without hesitation.

    TMC refinished my antique wooden dining room table

    We were very pleased with the outcome of the work done by the wood crafters at TMC in restoring our table. The sales representative provided us with an assuredness of the quality of the work that would be provided in making our decision to use their services. Follow-up communication by the person actually doing the work to clarify both our and their expectations for the work was much appreciated. They provided a generous timeline for the work to be done and delivered well within that timeline. I would highly recommend TMC to restore any antique or quality wood furniture.

    recovering and repairing teak dining room chairs

    They sanded down the arms and legs of 4 chairs, glued 2 back together and re-upholstered all 4 chairs in a lovely fabric. Slight problem when our initial fabric choice was out of stock, but we were very happy with 2nd choice.

    refinish a damaged wood tabletop

    Our 70+ year old oak table was damaged badly by cat urine and other substances. Restoration did a lovely job of returning the table to its former appearance. My only problem was with the long period of time we had to do without the table while work was being done, but I appreciate the final product and understand the need for the extra time.

    Furniture restoration

    We had 2 couches, 2 chairs and an ottoman reupholstered. Timeframe was good Pickup service was good. Cost was high. Discussed treating furniture just before deliver so there was an added expense that was not expected. Furniture was to be bubble wrapped but wasn't as promised. Return of furniture was not well scheduled and notification of missing delivery window was @ 4 minutes to the end of the delivery window. Didn't want to discuss payment options in the end, just a certified cheque or draft.

The form of fully guaranteed, comprehensive restoration that we offer is not inexpensive. But long-term it is far more economical than repeatedly replacing cheaply made replacement furniture. Because we carry thousands of fabrics - each with it's own unique structure - it is impossible for us to know pre-production which fabrics may benefit from an application of additional protection. But that is always your option as a customer. We apologize for having to reschedule the initial delivery & we will review our procedure for properly wrapping finished pieces prior to delivery.     Oak table and four chairs refinished

    They did a beautiful job restoring our 30 year old oak table and 4 chairs which were very worn . The work was beautiful and looks like new ! The wood was very good quality and it would have been much more costly to replace .
