I have a large sectional sofa that was showing all of it's 20 + years of use. I was able to get a great new fabric, with all new cushions that make it look like brand new. I"m very happy that I did this rather than going out and buying a new sofa. It looks great, and the work is 100% professional down to the last stitch.

This was a surprise Christmas gift for my husband (on very short notice - Milton got the chair at the end of November and it was finished less than 2 weeks later!) and a job we'd been talking about for 15 years ... he has a very sentimental attachment to this chair and fond memories of sitting with his Granddad watching sports on their little B/W TV. It was in bad shape, saggy shapeless and very dirty with foam and springs shot - Milton made it like new again, my mother-in-law was actually quite emotional when she saw it for the first time and after sitting in it was just thrilled by the quality of the work and the speed with which it was done. Now my husband doesn't disappear into the depths of the chair when sitting on it, and we don't have to use 3 blankets to cover it - it has a spot front and center in our TV Room, and all our guests comment on how good it looks. We expect our grandkids will be using it in 20 years. Thanks Milton, you made my husbands Christmas!

We had our own fabric and just needed a mid century modern chair to be recovered, Great attention to detail, Milton went the extra mile to make sure we got it back in time and were satisfied with the end result. Would certainly recommend to anyone.

After seeing TJ Fine Upholstering many years ago on Colin and Justin, it was well worth holding on to the information. Milton was professional, on time and took an old tired sofa set that was re-upholstered badly and brought it back to life. Awesome job on my mother-in-law's sofa. Excellent worksmanship - front and back, its a difficult piece to upholster. Styling Advice - got compliments from an interior designer for his modern interpretation of a classic Quick turnaround - it only took 2.5 weeks. Great price - was the best of 4 quotes I got! We had two wing chairs, a sofa and loveseat reupholstered by Milton. His prices were very fair, and the quality of his work was outstanding. We found him to be honest, hardworking and would definitely recommend his work to anyone!

I phoned at least 7 other upholsterers to request a quote for 1 chair, and Milton's was the most fair BY FAR! Everyone was out to rip me off. Don't waste your time like I did - his prices are reasonable and unbeatable. Milton responded to my inquiry the same day within hours, phoning to give me my quote. I dropped it off, and was given a time frame - he had the chair ready well before the date promised. Just picked it up today, and am thrilled with the results. The striped fabric I chose was no easy feat, and the attention to detail and care that went into it is the mark of a skilled perfectionist. I will definitely be back again. Milton is a businessman with integrity (competitive price and delivery date always as promised) and an upholsterer with great skill. If you don't ask, you won't know - could we get these reupholstered in leather? He said YES - Milton converted 2 fabric slipper chairs and a club chair & ottoman to superior quality leather pieces. Wow, they looked great! A job well done as was the sofa he reupholstered and delivered to us in less than 1 week, in time for Christmas. Our German houseguests were duly impressed with the quality of workmanship and timeliness of delivery If you want quality work and someone you can trust with your valued furniture, Milton is your man! TJ Milton reupholstered a large Dunbar sofa for me. Milton did a beautiful job--it looks like new. He is a delightful man, and visiting his hole-in-the-wall shop out east on St Clair, crammed to the gills with furniture and fabric, is an adventure. You won't be disappointed with his work.
