Milton was professional, on time, and did great work. What more could you ask for! He gave new life to our favorite couch. Great price. Great service. I would definitely recommend him.

I had two very old and tired furniture pieces but they were so well made, I wanted them recovered rather than replaced. TJ picked up and delivered, and completed the job ahead of the promised date. The quote was very fair, the work excellent and I'm bowled over by the end result. I would certainly recommend them.

***READ FIRST*** Based on the reviews I decided to have my chair reupholstered there. I'm assuming his clientele is not very particular on how they want things done and he's used to changing things around as he pleases just to finish the job. I brought in a chair with specific instructions and he agreed that it could be done with satisfaction or I didn't have to pay. Not knowing the history of the chair (HM fabric shell chair) he put it together and lost the integrity of the design. Everything he did seemed like a band-aid solution or a quick fix like they do on Restaurant Makeover. They throw it together to make it "look good". I told him in the future, he needs to consult with the client before making changes to the original agreement but he kept saying "but it looks good". When I refused to pay the inflated price he refused to hand over my chair. Luckily the shell and the fabric I brought in didn't cost much and decided to cut my losses.... So be warned.

Absolutely fabulous work done on my armchair!!! The chair looks completely new and reinvented. Milton was amazingly helpful and patient with me!!! I would certainly recommend his upholstery services to anyone - and I will be asking Milton to recover a few more of my chairs. Well done. Dan.

I have a very expensive feather filled sofa. I called TJ (Milton) to inquire about re-stuffing them so they would provide better support in the seat and back. Milton really delivered! He's very professional, friendly, and certainly knows his upholstery. He even worked with a supplier (on my behalf) to bring down the cost. There's no question I would call on him again and recommend him to friends!

Milton was very helpful and his company did a wonderful job reupholstering our kitchen chairs in leather. The turnaround time was also fantastic as we had our chairs back in two days. Thanks very much.

Milton did two jobs for us. We would describe him as honest, accommodating and speedy. Both jobs were done quickly but with great quality. When we had trouble picking out fabric Milton counselled us to take our time and sent us to look at more samples to ensure we picked out something we would like for years. There was a small hiccup with a missing pillow but this was corrected in 24 hours. Highly recommend T. J. s service and Greg's speedy delivery.

First of all I am a huge fan of the Homestars site and so when we made a rather hasty decision to consider reupholstering 2 Queen Anne chairs and 2 loveseats, I did my research and quickly found TJ Fine Upholstering and after reading all the reviews I knew I had to look no further. I contacted Milton, emailed pictures of the furniture, and got a quote over the phone. Then I visited his shop for fabrics and he referred me onto another source. Once the selection of fabric was done, he picked up the furniture, confirmed the reasonable price and agreed to a time frame. He was excellent in all aspects of the process, from suggestions to updating the look of the loveseats, to confirming the suitability of the chosen fabrics, to followup calls for job completion and pick-up and delivery. We are very pleased with the workmanship, particularly the geometrically patterned fabric on the chairs which matched beautifully. So well done Milton!

Milton of TJ's was very punctual and made some changes to our sofa and chair which modernized it. The work was very good and delivered in two weeks time. We are very pleased with the results.

We bought two very comfortable armchairs for our TV room at a hotel liquidator for a great price but they were covered in hideous fabric - so we brought them to TJ to be reupholstered in leather. It was difficult to choose amongst the beautiful leather samples that Milton showed us however in the end we went with an olive green leather with nail head trim around the bottom of the chairs. Milton did a superb job reupholstering the chairs - they are still very comfortable but now they are beautiful to look at as well! Great workmanship and customer service. Highly recommended.
