I was initially impressed by Robert's honesty. He inspected my roof, unclogged my downspout (free of charge) and concluded that my roof was still in good condition and didn't need to be replaced. He was ready to leave. However, for reasons not apparent from the inspection, I explained to him why I really wanted the roof replaced and I hired him that day for the job, which consisted of replacing the plywood boards, shingles, one eavestrough and two downspouts, and fixing a collapsed rafter. On the day of, Robert and his crew came shortly after sunrise at 8 am. He was here all day both to do the work and to supervise his crew. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns - was very professional throughout. He also identified and fixed problems that I didn't know existed. Another thing he did, presumably for all his clients, that I liked a lot was that he showed me before, during and after photos of the roof. This gave me confidence that all the tasks were completed. His crew also did an excellent clean-up job. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I desperately needed a new roof on our newly purchased home. We got several quotes and decided to follow through with The Cutting Edge. The details on the quote showed that they were going to do our roof properly, and not try to cut corners and give us one that would only need to be re-done in a few years. The workers came bright and early on a Sunday and worked really hard to take off the old roof and re-do the new one. Robert took photos from his phone of all of the damage our old roof had suffered, including mold, etc. I thought it was nice to let people know exactly what they are paying to replace. The roof was done in a matter of about 5 hours, and it looks FANTASTIC. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Had quotes from 4 local area roofers. We decided on Robert and his company. While all the companies' reps were personable, my hubby felt most comfortable with Robert. We've had a leak in the roof over the kitchen for years, and Robert was the only one who detected EXACTLY what the problem was (the others also wanted to fix another area, which they said was leaking too). His team came the day before we were to get days of rain, fixed the leak, along with fixing the chimney flashings (added bonus). VERY happy to say not 1 drop of rain is entering my kitchen!! He was recommended to us, and I highly pass that on!

What a great company. I was referred to them by my realtor and am I ever glad I got this referral. I knew from the get-go the job would be done properly. It was obvious when I spoke with the owner, Robert, when he personally attended to inspect my roof and give an estimate, that he knows his stuff. He explained everything. I have a non-standard size skylight which meant the replacement had to be custom-ordered. Robert found a reasonable price for the new skylight. The crew were pleasant, showed up as scheduled, did a great job, and I was very impressed with the clean-up - you wouldn’t even know they had been there. I felt the price was very fair, and there were no surprises, the amount estimated was the amount invoiced. I’m sure there are roofers who would quote cheaper, but they will then be cutting corners somewhere. If you want the job done right, you can’t go wrong with Cutting Edge.

Robert from the cutting edge roofing came by to do an estimate for repairing my roof. I originally had a leak and he provided honest and upfront advice on what corrective actions I should take. He was quick to perform the repair and extremely professional. I don't think need to look any further for a roofing company in future

I called Robert to come look at my aging home (circa 1900) because the shingles were curling and I suspected the top flat part of the roof may need replacing. There is quite a steep slope on the roof so I didn't feel comfortable going up there to inspect it myself. Robert came out (arrived when he said he would) inspected the roof, and told me that the flat part was fine and only the shingles needed repairing. He could have easily told me the flat part was bad too and I would have never known. His price was fair and the workmanship was excellent. The cleanup was great too. Everything was done in one day and I couldn't be happier. The roof looks so good the rest of the house is now screaming out for restoration. :)

The crew came on time. They had high end equipment. The materials are top of line and cannot be got at Big BOX stores. Rob is very honest and hard worker and makes sure all is done right. he even did some tuck point on chimney and tighten the eaves on house. No payment due till job done andthe crew kept house clean and all good men. Great Firm to do a roof.

It is obvious that Robert takes pride in his company. He took care of all our concerns, was quick to follow up and provided excellent customer service. We feel we made the right choice in choosing The Cutting Edge Roofing and would not hesitate to recommend Robert and his team to anyone looking to have roofing work done.
