Robert was very prompt in meeting me initially and gave a firm quote on the spot. Two other roofers kept dithering on about "difficulties" and "problems". Rob wasn't the cheapest, but he seemed the most competent. His large crew arrived on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I had 2-3 small queries and Rob met me immediately and made a couple of small adjustments. Nice guy to deal with as well. Recommended.

We are extremely satisfied with the work done to replace the roof on our house and garage, and installation of a new skylight and eavesthroughs. Robert, the owner, was very knowledgeable, returned calls promptly, and had the work done in a timely manner. The total cost was far superior to other quotes we had, with a higher quality shingle. The team of workers were efficient and cleaned up the site perfectly. 95% of the work was done in a single day, which was very convenient for us. We had our roof stripped and replaced by Robert and his crew several years ago and could not have been happier with the results. They were on time, on budget and incredibly helpful and honest. I gave The Cutting Edge Roofing the highest rating because of their prompt response, thorough examination of the roof to ensure there were no other problems and speedy repair to stop the leak and to ensure there would be no recurrance. I phoned Robert Landry on Friday January 4,2013, and left a message because my roof had developed a small leak. He returned my call Saturday morning from cottage country up North and was back in the city and on the roof with his crew by 3:30PM. In order to locate the leak and ensure that there were no other problems, they had to clear the entire roof of snow from the storm the night before. Based on a careful examination of the roof they determined the roof was in good shape because all the seams had been sealed properly and there was no sign of any seperation. In light of this Robert felt the only area the leak could be coming from was at the skupper. Repair was finalized on the roof on Monday January 7th., and since then we have gone through several heavy showers with no sign of any problem. Having a leaking roof in the dead of Winter is a stressful situation. However, dealing with someone like Robert Landry who is up front, knowledgeable, reliable and professional makes it a lot easier. It is also great dealing with company that is reachable and lives up to a no nonsense, no excuse Guarantee. Incidentally, amount shown above is the original cost for repair done a few years ago. There was no cost to me this time because repair was done under the company's 10 year Guarantee.

They were not cheap but we liked the fact that Robert knew exactly what he was doing and very knowledgeable and reliable. Hello, I'd like to recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing as they did a very good job in my property. In the first place it was easy to reach them. Some companies have very dubious answering services that are a waste of time, but Cutting Edge had someone from the company to answer the phone. Secondly, they advised me to wait until the Spring to do my roof, as the weather was not warm enough at the time I contacted them. They offered to tarp any areas that could pose trouble while I had to wait. If fact my roof held out fine and I didn't need that help, but it was peace of mind to know they were there for me. Lastly, they easily arranged a date that was suitable for both of us to get the work done, on a warm day in the early summer, and they answered all questions to my satisfaction and gave me a warranty. I hope this review is helpful to future customers and to the Cutting Edge Roofing as well.

I had the recommended 3 quotes to fix my leaking roof. I hired Robert on the spot because he knew exactly what the problem was without me showing him where I thought the water was coming in. He took the time to explain the whole process (the different types of shingles, their respective life spans, where the water and ice protection will be laid and why, etc.) They came on time and did a GREAT JOB. I highly recommend The Cutting Edge to anyone who needs work done on their roof.

After getting a couple of quotes, we decided to go with Cutting Edge. They were not the cheapest but we liked the fact that they have in house crew and insured. We found Robert to be very knowledgeable and patient. Initially we wanted a different brand of shingle, but in the end, after doing more research, we decided to trust Robert and went with OC shingles as recommended. We were happy with the service and would recommend them to family and friends, in fact, I have already recommended them to a co-worker who's looking for someone to do their roof next spring. Based on other recommendations posted on Homestars, I chose Robert Landry's company to replace shingles on the roof of my home. Robert provided me with a choice of different roofing products, offered advice on improving ventilation in the attic and sent the crew over to do the job over a couple of days in July of this year. His staff was very considerate of our privacy (did not even come inside the house to use the bathroom or to get a drink of water). They did a very thorough, professional job and cleared the area around the house at the end of the first workday and when the job was completed. I am very happy with the results - Robert's prices may not be the most competitive but roofing business tends to be a racket and you get what you pay for. I did pay for and got quality work. I have no hesitation to recommend The Cutting Edge to other homeowners.
