    Roof replacement

    We called The Cutting Edge Roofing after reading reviews here, now here we are writing our own review. We had four other estimates but wasn't comfortable with them. Robert Landry was very professional and the products used as standard surpassed what was offered by others, eg. 6ft ice&water barrier instead of 3ft. Cost was quite reasonable for what was provided compared to other quotes. His personal approach was welcomed since all others just left an estimate in mailbox but we were able to talk to Robert at time of estimate to get a clear picture of what will be done. Work was done quickly and professionally and looks great. Overall would Highly RECOMMEND the Cutting Edge Roofing.

    Reshingle

    Rob Landry came to examine my roof as it had to be re-shingled. I had picked Cutting Edge roofing as their company had several favourable reviews on the internet. They did a very good job and left the property in a very orderly manner. The roofers were well organized and polite and the finished the job as promised without delays. I would recommend Cutting Edge and Ron to anyone who needed their roof replaced.

    New roof

    Quite simply -Honest & complete assessment and quote for new roof -Team arrived as communicated and completed job on time & within budget -Clean up really was perfect as promissed -Most pleasant and knowledgble owner I have worked with -Great touch to share pictures of the roof replacement journey as we were at work when it was done -Value added extras completed for me as well for water seal & caulking DO NOT HESITATE to have Robert provide an estimate for your next roof work

    Roof Replacement - New Sheeting and Shingles

    We purchased our home last year with a "3 year old" roof. Or so we were told. Long story short we had shingles falling off and the previous owner had the dryer ventalation duct burried in the attic which created mold and ruined the sheeting of our roof. Joys of bidding wars in Toronto. Rob was quick to respond. He tarped our roof off for the winter and provided us a detailed quote for or shingles even had to come back on two occasion as a windstorm tore apart his tarp. He was always in communication with us until the spring and showed he cared about his reputation. We are very happy with the quality of work Rob and his crew provided. He went the extra mile and i would recommend this company to anybody

    Fix loose shingles, Advise on soffit problem

    I know Robert for last 1 year. I called him first after a wind storm to fix my loose shingles. He did not hesitate to take a small job and was there next day. He explained me the problem and did a great job. He is honest and I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good job at a reasonable price.

    Roof repair

    This was the first time I called Cutting Edge. Robert was quick to respond, and did a great job. The problem on my roof was repaired the next day, and for the quoted price. He was professional on the phone, and I felt reassured that the job would be done properly. He will certainly get the call for any jobs on my rental properties.

    Roof Replacement

    My husband and I needed to get our roof replaced this past summer. We are new home owners and were very tentative about the whole process. We diligently went out and received quotes from 6 companies. We were shocked by some of the pricing. The first quote we got was $18,000 for the "basic" job. After questioning why a house our size (small, no flat roof) would cost so much he came down to $9,000 for the same job! The second was for $11,000 for less work (no shielding etc) than the first. Needless to say we were getting very frustrated. After speaking to another contractor doing work in our neighborhood, we got referred to Rob. He was described as "honest and won't try to rip you off". Rob showed up right away, pointed out the things the other roofers didn't "mention" and gave us a very fair quote. He showed up with his crew a couple weeks later once we made our decision and had the job done in 2 days. It rained (hard) between the two days, and Rob was very careful to cover up his work. He even drove by the day it rained to check everything was holding. I am happy to report it has been 5 months now and we have had no leaks and the roof looks great. We recently had people by to give us quotes for replacing our eavestroughs and two of the guys even commented on how nicely done our roof was! Great work Cutting Edge Roofing.

    roofing a home

    I have heard horror stories with getting your roof done. I received three quotes including Cutting Edge Roofing. I went on Homestars for all three quotes. Rob's was reasonable. The other company wanted $4000. for the same job. I made sure Rob included everything in his quote and he did. He came it was pain free. He was patient and finished quickly with minimal fuss. That is the kind of contractor i like. The roof looks great and I feel he was fair. I would recommend him to my friends. Thank you Rob!

    Roof Repair & Shingle replacement

    We'd received a couple of estimates however Rob paid more attention to recommendations for improvements especially where it applied to additional venting and flashing and Ice/water barriers. Rob also provided locations where other recent work could be viewed in the area. They arrived on the day promised and worked steady to complete the work. The clean-up was well done with a couple of the neighbors commenting on how well the work was done. The end result is a much improved roof with 30 year shingles, additional venting and a much improved look of the house. Robs crew were extremly coureous and did a great job! We're happy to recommend them any time. Adrian & Brenda

    Flat Roof and Shingles

    Rob and his crew replaced a terribly installed flat roof on our home. He took the time to explain things to me properly without overselling. Unlike many of the other companies we got quotes from, Rob himself came to our home, not a salesperson. His price was very reasonable, included additional products that other companies did not and even installed a vent for our bathroom, a skylight and ripped out the chimney! All in all, it looks great, the team was friendly, cleaned up well and even put up my Christmas lights! (just kidding) Thanks Rob
