We have a 3 story house. Last year water started leaking from our flat roof and coming to a 3rd floor window, but it only happened during an unusually heavy downpour. Since it only happened a few times in a year, the source of the leak was very hard to trace. We hired a roofing company, which shall go nameless, to fix it. They said they found the problem but the next time there was a big downpour, water was till leaking into the house. We called them back a couple of times but they just could not fix the problem. Bruce even painted a metal roof vent so everything would look tidy. There's been a couple of very heavy rains since then, but no water has been coming in. So far so good.
