    Terry is a responsible business owner who stands behind his work. You can't take that for granted these days. They have my business in the future.

    Washing Machine Service

    Polite initial call to dispatch, timely service appointment (next day!), punctual and knowledgeable tech arrived and was able to troubleshoot and solve our problem immediately! Will most definitely call again and will recommend to family and friends. Thanks Appliance Service Center! Aaron in Edgemont

    Maytag fridge repair

    Replaced the jazz controller, as the freezer was very frosty on the back wall. Also showed me how to do a forced defrost.

    Dishwasher fix

    Needed my dishwaser fixed so called Calgary appliance service center. Booking appointment online was a nice touch and the tech was nice and punctual, thus the 4 stars. He came and looked at the dishwasher which was leaking from the bottom, then got on his laptop and quoted me about what a new dishwasher was worth. of course I said I would rather just replace it. He then charged me $100 right on the spot. I got the sneaking suspicion that this might be an easy way to make $100 per visit for doing next to nothing. but hey just my opinion.

    Dishwasher

    Have nothing but good things to say about Appliance Service Center. Notably, Louis, the technician, was great! Dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes properly, so used Appliance Service Center's online booking system to book the appointment. Great process, and had no issues with the booking. Louis showed up in the early part of the 2 hour window, and knew it was an issue with one of the parts. He then ordered the part, provided me the cost for the part, and booked the follow up appointment 2 business days later. Louis then said what he needed me to do for when he got here to save time. Once again, he came in the first half of the 2 hour time window, and switched out the part. He changed the part, and then put it back together to check for leaks. This sounds like standard service, but then the extra bit of service was the following steps: 1) He said how to monitor for leaks in the next few times running the dishwasher clearly and concisely 2) He mentioned that all their work is under warranty for 1 year 3) The price he quoted for the part included installation. This may have been the best part! 4) He said moving forward to contact him if anything goes wrong by e-mail, and he will let me know if it is a minor issue (e-mail or Youtube video), or if someone needs to come in 5) He recommended a parts source with a 10% discount on the parts. I am very impressed with Louis and Appliance Service Centre. More importantly, I am very happy to have an operational dishwasher once again!

    Quick, easy, friendly service!

    Louis G came by today to replace the element in the oven. Super friendly guy, such a pleasure to work with ASC, especially when they send out a guy like that. I love their online appointment scheduler. So easy to schedule a day that works for me. Will definitely use them again!

    Excellent service

    We had a burnt out module on a very complicated LG Induction Range, and we called Appliance Service Centre based on these reviews. We scheduled an appointment online which was extremely convenient, and our tech John X was there promptly every time. The diagnosis was quick and the part was luckily found in Calgary, also online, and installed the next day. Excellent service.

    Thank you Louis!

    We had problems with our dishwasher, our fridge and our dryer. I called Appliance Service Centre because my friend next door said how great they were -- and -- they were awesome! Louis Godor was my technician. You're always afraid you won't find someone both honest AND great at what they do -- but he was... and I can't say enough about him! :) Definitely would recommend Louis and Appliance Service Centre! They're our go to company from now on. Thanks Louis!

    Fridge Repair

    Our experience with Appliance Service Centre was less than positive and we found the technician to be very rude. We recently had our hardwood floors refinished and our fridge started leaking after it was moved back into place and re-connected, because the ice-line wasn't hooked up properly. After working with the flooring company, restoration company & their plumber to have the floors repaired and the fridge re-connected again (per our insurance company), unfortunately the fridge leaked a second time. At this point we called Appliance Service Centre. We suspected it was an issue with the ice-line not being connected properly in both cases but wanted an appliance repair company to take a look to ensure there wasn't a bigger issue. The technician Terry failed to listen / understand our situation and made incorrect assumptions. He was very rude and made condescending remarks, because he thought we'd gone about this the wrong way. He made it very clear he wasn't happy about doing the job and complained about not wanting to be liable. He realized towards the end of the service call that he'd misunderstood the situation but didn't apologize. We expressed our displeasure via their follow-up review tool and offered to discuss further but no-one responded. I am giving two stars because we were able to book an appointment quickly, the technician was punctual and the issue appears to be resolved, however, due to the unpleasant nature of our experience we will not be using this company in future nor would we recommend them.
