Steven of Black Forest Woodworking located Mississauga and serving the greater GTA is truly a man of his word. He kept all of his appointments, returned all email, calls and completed the custom wall unit by the time it was promised. He created a very functional, beautiful and flawless custom wall unit for us. He had expert advice and was able to demonstrate why things have to look good but also be functional, work for your living space and everything you use it for. He did all this and was very affordable when you see the quality of the craftsmanship of his creations. We would definitely recommend him to all of our friends and family as well as everyone on HomeStars. Thank you Steven for your exceptional work!

Steven responded very quickly to my inquiries. He was sensitive to my needs in a condo & he made excellent suggestions which I would not have thought of. His quote was exactly the cost.The unit was professionally installed. He & his helper were extremely clean. Their workmanship was high in quality. Steven is very meticulous and I would definite have him do more work for me in the future.

Steven was helpful in turning our concept for built-ins and mantle around the fireplace into reality. After describing what we envisioned, he didn't push his own ideas, but rather made suggestions/tweaks that made sense. Workmanship top-notch, especially the white paint finish that is sprayed in his shop. Final product makes our room look and feel much better and undoubtedly will add value to our house. This is a first time i am using Homestars website and i am glad we did it. Istvan did great job and we are proud to show his work to our friends. Honestly everybody is amazed with level of detailes and quality of his work. He is not just good carpenter but he delivered everything right on time and he called several time to update us about progress. Really impressive company and i would really recommand him to everyone.

Istvan is the real deal. We conatcted him after reading his reviews on homestars for 2 built in bookcases either side of the fireplace. We were not disappointed. The workmanship is phenomenal and the finished product looks incredible. Istvan is extremely professional and the bookcases were delivered on time and on budget. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for high quality workmanship.

Steven did an amazing job on our built ins! It looks better than I could have imagined and completely changed the look of our family room! Steven worked with us to come up with a design that met our needs and looked great. He was a pleasure to deal with and completed the project on time - we would definitely recommend him (and will use him again!).

Istvan is a professional in the truest sense of the word. His workmanship was precise, his ideas are helpful and the end result speaks for itself. This built-in was over 18 ft long and 11' ft high.
