I would recommend Vance for pest control as he has taken care of my wasp nest as well as ants. Two summers ago vance removed a wasp nest the size of twi soccer balls from inside our shed. Last year he took care of giant ant mounds on our lawn that were carpenter ants and also the pavement ants from under the concrete slabs. He was very informative and explained why my method of pouring water out of a kettle would fail nine times out of ten. He assured me that all the chemicals that were used were bio-degradable and I later confirmed this on the Internet (very important to me as I am a researcher working on climate change). All things said, my experience with Vance has always been positive and hope I don't have to see him again but if I do ever run into a species of insect I can't deal with I will call him again

I had a long problem with ants and decided to look at homestars. after reading a lot of reviews i decided to get pestokill a chance. They were on time with no issues and was able to resolve the problem. Had two nest, Vince was able to remove both of them. Now we don't have ants anymore... Thank you for a job well done.

Carpenter ants took cover in my home after showing up in the fall. I wasn't too worried as after speaking to Pestokill I was told that damage caused by carpenter ants is greatest when the weather is warm and they are generally dormant during the winter. It was recommended that I wait until the end of march and I did just that. In March I began to see mice droppings in my garage and scratching sounds in my attic, which were heard through the ceilings. And it was my bad luck that exactly 2 days later ants were literally all over the kitchen. I called in to see if I could have someone come right away but it was already 4 and no one was available until 6. A bit of a disappointment but not a deal breaker. And they made up for it by showing up at exactly 8 the next morning on FRIDAY, March 20th. The first individual explained the procedure for mice while the 2nd one investigated the ants. The man dealing with the mice showed me where he thought they were coming in, blocked the hole and proceeded to put sacks of green bait either tied up behind appliances or in black bait stations. The other individual pointed out where he thought the best could be. He started by drilling holes under the ledge and pumping a type of borax if I remember correctly inside. As he got to the third area the 2nd guy came running up to tell us about ants pouring out from the dropped ceiling. I decided to have a peak and as soon as I saw that some of my tiles were no longer viewable as they were covered with ants I decided to wait outside. They also did an exterior spray which I appreciate as perhaps it might keep them away this year. The company did have to come back once to have a look in the garage for the mice but other than that I have been extremely happy with the work 10 out 10.

We had a very bad infestation of Carpenter Ants inside and out. We spoke to this company on the phone explaining very clearly our problem and what we have observed of the ant activity in our home and the outside routine over months. Did liberal spray treatment and after 1 week of no ants, the ants came back. Company came back for a spot treatment in areas I tried to mention.

It was a decision I should have made the first day I moved in and saw one of these things jump on my leg. The whole experience, from booking the job to having it done was pleasant. The technician kept me informed with what was going on and I felt like I was a part of the process, which I think is important because they are dealing with pesticides. I can now get on with my life.

Lately My tenants complained about Scratching sounds in Etic. I search around and after talking different companies I hired Maple Pest. Exterminator came was very professional and put some Commercial baits. Our problem go away after about 7 service days.

I have a get together at my home twice a month at minimum, which is why rodents running around are not something that can be tolerated. Found Vance on homestars and booked an appointment. Like a true professional he was at my door on time. I needed him to finish quickly as I had an appointment and he did exactly that and was finished with the inside of my home within 45 minutes and checked the outside after I left. He gave me a call later that night to let me know that he found a point of entry and he could only temporarily block it due to the large size and I need to have it fixed permanently. I had a look in the area he described and 3 bricks were missing from under my deck. I can’t believe the home inspector didn’t catch it. The mice are gone and I did get the hole fixed. Thanks for finding it for me and the great job that was done. I would make no hesitation in recommending Vance.

Timely, efficient and effective. Those are my remarks about this company whom I had a great experience with. I had a one-hour window to get the work done as my in laws were going to be over for the weekend. Vance and another man pulled in right behind me after getting home from work. Vance explained the procedure and than one fellow went down to the basement while Vance worked on the upper floors. 15 minutes later the other fellow went outside and into the garage. He called me out and showed me a hole around the air conditioning hose and one in the garage where the drywall and concrete meet. He blocked both holes. The work was done in about 35 minutes and other than the mouse that collapsed right in front of me in the foyer we never saw another mouse.

I was stunned to see droppings in my house as i keep it very tidy. Found Vance on homestars, he was here the same day. about 4 days after he finished i cleaned the droppings and have yet to see anything since. well done Vance!

VERY EXPERIENCED INDUVIDUALS. We had a major issue with bed bugs and cockroaches as soon as we moved in. We tried many products and in home remedies to eliminate the issue. Nothing was permanent or worked well.After hiring Pest Control GTA, they spent about 3 hours using a special fogging method to eliminate the issue, and it worked extremely well. i was told about Pest Control GTA from a friend in my neighbourhood, very good recommendation.
