Fantastic work. We hired them on an urgent timescale: our insurance company gave us 30 days to rip out the Poly B piping that came with our new house and replace it with PEX. We reached out to five firms; theirs was one of the three that quoted. They know the value of quick responses: my phone rang not more than 3 minutes after I filled out their web form, they scheduled a walkthrough for 2pm the next day, and I got my fixed-price quote before 6pm that day. Theirs was the lowest price by about 10% cheaper than the next lower. The foreman had done the Poly B repiping several times, and it showed. He took pains to walk through the entire house to identify the problems. He managed my expectations: he said to expect 2.5 days on site, but that his team would try to finish within two, and they did. They agreed to try to minimize drywall damage, and they delivered on that promise. His team were personable, pleasant, and worked diligently throughout both days on site. And, most importantly, the foreman was there at the end of the job to ensure his team had dotted the "I"s and crossed the "t"s. I was thoroughly impressed across the board.

I usually do all my own plumbing without issue but this one had me stumped. With Dawson from John the Plumber's help we diagnosed the problem in a short spell and I was up and running. Super service and clean friendly plumbers. Absolutely recommend!

The shower diverter in my bathroom had to be replaced. The admin staff was helpful and quickly arranged a date and time for the work that suited me. Cameron arrived within the agreed time frame. He was pleasant and professional. Cameron offered a few solutions to the concern, which I appreciated. The work was done quickly and effectively. This is the second time I've used John the Plumber. Based on my experiences, I would recommend the company without reservation.

Jeff from John the plumber came to fix a plugged sink. He tried everything he could for a couple of hours, even taking his supper time to keep on working to find a solution to unplug this sink and pipe. He finally got it to my full satisfaction. Bravo to Jeff from John the plumber!

Cameron was great - punctual, friendly and professional. He explained everything before starting the job, including telling and showing me why things needed to be done and the cost. I had three jobs and all were done cleanly and professionally. Im particularly happy with the new laundry sink and connections, Cameron made suggestions and implemented some changes to save me potential trouble down the line in my older home. Weve had an issue with a leaking toilet. We tried to reset the toilet ourselves. All was good for a month and thenleaking through the ceiling on the ground floor. John The Plumber to the rescue!! Toilet repaired and the work was guaranteed for 2 years. Our plumber was excellent. Very professional 5 *****

After calling about an emergency plumbing situation, two workers arrived the next day and were friendly and motivated. They quoted me roughly double of what the plumber that actually fixed the problem would eventually charge me. Then, after trying to fix the problem for an hour and a half or so, they diagnosed it incorrectly and let me know there was nothing they could do to fix it. That diagnosis was incorrect. They are probably fine for smaller jobs, but seem to lack experience with larger projects. Depending on the job you need completed, your mileage may vary. Edit: Agreed to reduce the total bill significantly after I provided proof that I hired another plumber and a bit of back and forth.

I have been suffering with a water drainage problem for almost four weeks. AFter a week of three big snowstorms March 3rd dawned, the temperatures climbed, and everything started to melt. The ground was still frozen and there was no place for the water to go. I had to spend a pile of money on a new HVAC system in the furnace room. Their plumbers however could not diagnose the water problem, the insurance company still hasn't diagnosed the problem but John the Plumber did, and they have slayed that dragon for a good long time. Their guys were knowledgeable and professional. They knew exactly what to look for and didn't tell me they would come back in a few weeks when the temperatures begin to climb because there might be a venting problem on the roof. They used a camera, and fixed a blockage 10 feet away from the house, plus they installed a new toilet . These guys have names; Connor and Henry! They work for John the Plumber. If you have a plumbing problem, call them and they will fix it in a couple of hours.

We called John the Plumber because our tenant's kitchen sink was blocked and some of the pipes below the drain were leaking. Geoff was sent in. He did a really good job rebuilding the piping and the drain. He was then extremely patient clearing a very deep clog that had been incompletely cleared 8 months before by plumber from a different company. We are very pleased with the work Geoff did. He was also very polite and pleasant to talk to and explained everything in detail. We will continue calling John the Plumber for future issues.
