Needed a simple job to replace an outdoor faucet and they quoted $399. Thats an insanely high price for a job even the plumber agreed would be very easy and the replacement piece was $25. They charged me $80 for the visit to get the quote, and were here less than 5 min. Ive had good experiences historically but this one was disappointing. I wont use them for small jobs in the future.

They are very expensive to hire and they use a pricing scheme that included an automatic $350 charge when you involve any copper pipe soldering. Which was not advised to me over the phone when I asked about their costs on soldering and replacing copper fittings. (This pricing scheme would have made me seek other options) The job took about 20 minutes and in the end; the replacement about 2ft of copper ½ inch pipe and soldering only 4x fitting cost me the $350 +tax. The employee was polite and skilled, but the cost seems high for the work that was quoted and completed. Also beware of the high cost of them just to show up to quote your project. Which pressured me to accept the quote. I would not recommend this company to a friend due to the high costs and pricing scheme. Kevin (Ottawa)

A problem toilet resulted in having a replacement done, and Connor of John the Plumber did the job quickly and efficiently and repaired some other problems with water supply turn-offs in other bathrooms. We were very impressed with this plumber, his service-orientation, efficiency, knowledge and attitude. I would use this company again, and will always ask for Connor! Many thanks for the quick turn around and the quality of the job performed.

We had good luck with the company previously - quick and professional. This time I was quoted $1200 for what I was told, a complex repair. It ended being dead simple and taking 1 1/2 hours to complete. When I asked what went into the pricing - I wasn't griping - they simply refused to answer. Nothing but dismissive condescension from the help desk. As a crowning touch they didn't want to credit the $85 I had to pay to get the initial quote. I had to get loud to get them to honor their own promise. This short-term greed will sink the company, just watch. Strongly suggest you avoid.

Cameron and Matt were excellent. They respected my home and were friendly with my ABY cat. She can be a brat! I watched their work out of curiosity and saw the repair being done as an artistic endeavor. They take pride in their profession. They were tidy and left the premises as it was before. I had a major repair done a year ago. I was lucky enough to have Lance do the work. He was efficient and explained everything carefully, and did an excellent job. He called me once during a storm to make sure that everything was working properly as the repairs involved a sump pump and French drains. I had another issue this past weekend and Lance came on his day off to check things out. Hope, you are lucky enough to get Lance when you need a plumber.

They don't know how to fix small toilet flush. Instead of fixing they create other problem and charge extra money. Really very bad experience.

I obtained an appointment within a few minutes for the same day on a very efficient website. Geoff showed up on time and was obviously competent to assess, evaluate and execute the repairs. He cleaned up and was courteous throughout the two hours.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience, from the moment they walked in we should have turned them away, very unprofessional, talked down to us and didn't explain anything, in the end they fixed the plumbing but also ended up breaking the bathtub and causing extensive damage to the floors, carpets and walls (what contractor arrives and doesn't even bring a drop sheet?) very disrespectful, Johnathan the plumber who arrived disappeared all day and left a bunch of rookies to do the work who ended up breaking the electrical now leaving us with a hefty electrical bill, when we asked to speak to the owner John he called two weeks later and proceeded not to listen but to yell and swear at us, too bad, never again would I use them, what a disrespectful company poorly trained. Very quick to respond when it's time to book a service but never even acknowledged receipt of multiple emails when it was time to discuss an issue. Don't believe it when they tell you they're coming for $40 on the phone, it's $300.
