The work was done over two days. The two installers worked steadily at the job, and despite some rain on the second day, they completed the work in the allotted time. They were both friendly and considerate; they covered furniture with plastic before they started work in each room, and swept up all debris when they were finished. All cutting of trim was done outside, and everything was cleaned up afterwards.
I am very happy with my new windows. The frames are slightly wider and more decorative than the previous ones, and the all-over effect is very pleasing. As well, they seem to be, as advertised, more sound-proof. I am hoping that my heating bill this coming winter will reflect the better quality of my new Northern Comfort windows.
