We chose Oakville Windows and Doors mainly due to Andre's honesty and integrity. He doesn't want to just sell his product. He is more interested in your comfort in your home. During our quote, and without even knowing if he would get our job, he recommended that we should get our attic insulation done even at the expense of losing our business. He is very knowledgeable and we learned quite a bit about how a home works. Andre aligns himself with other very professional contractors, who like himself, pride themselves on doing what is right for the consumer and not necessarily for their pocketbook. We did contact his recommendation for Affordable Insulation and also did do the insulation installation with them. Dealing with Jessica in the office was great. She assisted us with colour and door handle selection. Based on this, we went ahead with Andre and had all windows, front and patio doors replaced. The installation Team - PJ, Thomas and Ziggy were all very professional, polite and efficient. Our neighbours commented on the professional job they did and many compliments on our new windows and doors. They capped every window and also our garage. They also made a very nice and usable stool (ledge) for the kitchen window. They made our home almost maintenance free. They also completed the job ahead of schedule, completing everything in one day. Despite the early completion, no corners were cut. They just work very efficiently. Andre's window suggestions were great replacements. Our installation was in mid-late spring and after evaluating for some time, we have found that our home is far more comfortable with very little temperature variation from our main floor to upstairs whereas prior there was at least a 3-5 degree difference. The furnace doesn't kick in as much and I was also able to increase the temp for the a/c setting as we don't need to compensate for the temperature difference anymore.
