    Window installation

    I had to tackle window replacement as one of the ongoing reno projects in our home. I usually do all of the reno project myself but time availablility was limited for me to take on the windows. We had approached a couple of box stores and other companies for estimates. I have to say I was disappointed as one of the box stores never even bothered to contact us even after we had selected widows and styles at their store. When Andre came to do the appraisal I was impressed by his friendly and professional demeanor. The estimating was done and it was actually lower than the other companies we had contacted. The windows they use are obviously excellent quality and the warranty unbeatable. There was some delay in the building of the windows but at this time of year that was expected due to volume demands. When the windows were installed the crew was excellent in battling exhaustive heat, humidity and angry wasps. The install took most of the day to complete and I was very impressed with the job and the finish was great. Cleanup also excellent. The costwas exactly as given in the estimate! (a rarity these days) I would definitely recommend Oakville Windows and Doors over the "box stores" any day. This family business seems to place their customers in a valued position.     New Front Door

    We wanted to replace our front door for some time and after a little shopping around - Andre and his team at Oakville Windows and Doors could not be beat. Their approach, their product, and their price were far better than everyone else we talked to. Our door has now been installed - it looks great. Andre and the staff made this an incredibly comfortable exercise and would highly recommend this company. Thanks Chris & Kristin

    Hi folks, thanks for the kind words. I just drove past your home yesterday and I have to say that the door looks great. You guys were a dream to work with on this project as everything went very smoothly from my 10-15 minute initial visit with Chris to the easy install by PJ and crew. I do recall one small issue after the job was completed. The issue was the insulating foam expanded beyond the caulking surrounding the frame in one little spot at the bottom. This was caused, in my opinion by the rain for two days prior to installation. You see, when the bricks get saturated with water they tend to wick up excess moisture and when we use our LOW expansion foam it cures to the touch on the outside telling us it's ready to be trimmed and sealed by caulk. What we don't see is that the foam may or may not still be expanding on the interior where the foam is in contact with the brick in behind. When the foam expands a little more, the uncured caulking offers no resistance thus letting it ooze out beyond the caulking. We have noticed this a few times in the past few years. We were able to come out and repair the caulk a few days later, once the silicone caulking has had a chance to cure. Let's see if we can provide you with some windows or garage doors for this lovely home of yours when the time is right. In the meantime take care and thanks again.... Andre and Company.

    Windows

    We had Oakville windows and doors to install the windows in May/13. They did an excellent job that we have asked them to do all the doors too. The crews who installed the windows were very courteous and they made sure the area is cleaned after the work were completed. keep up the good work.

    replace front entry door/Install new porch closure

    This company did a wonderful professional job on our front entry. They installed a new door system and a complete porch enclosure. They were honest, reliable and did quality work. Installers were very professional. Andre came by when the job was completed to make sure we were happy. I would definitely recommend this company to our friends. We have had several jobs done on our home recently, and Oakville Windows and Doors stood out from the rest for sure! Doug and Claire Scott

    Windows and Doors

    Andre and his team were wonderful! They replaced all our windows and doors except our front door when we moved into our new house. They were professional, and friendly. I have recommended them to other people and will continue to do so. When we are ready to replace our front door (very soon) we will be calling Oakville Windows and Doors. There is no one else we would trust to do the job. They care about our house as if it was their own, and that is all we want!

    Patio door removal and re-install

    Oakville Windows and Doors, without advance notice, agreed to come on a Sunday morning to remove patio doors so I could get a couch into the basement. PJ, the technician, showed up at the agreed time and had the doors off in 10 mins, helped me get the hidabed into house. No one else would give me the time of day!

    Windows plus installation

    I have been a contractor for over 20 years serving Oakville and surrounding areas. I have seen a few window companies come and go. I am also a homeowner. I had no hesitation at getting Andre and his team quote and install my full house of windows. I also asked his team to install new trim to match my existing around the doors. They found what I was looking for and installed it perfectly...no mess either. Clean up was amazing. Exterior finish was also a perfect 10. Seriously no flaws in the capping or caulking. I would like to thank Andre,Jessica and PJ .

    Door

    After years of unwelcome Window and Doors telephone solitications, I was rather sceptical about hiring such a service to replace a door. Should I stick with big box stores or go to an independent. Well, I must say reading the reviews on Homestar helped me find a top notch company, Oakville Windows and Doors. From my first meeting with Andre to the day of installation, it was nothing more than a postive experience from start to finish. The quality advice. quality door, and expert installation made me feel I received great value for my money. Andre returns to the house after the work is completed to inspect the job and check for satisfaction without being asked. I truly believe this company will stand behind its work. Recommend them without hesitation.

    New Front Double Doors

    I cannot say enough good things about the work Andre's team did for us. From fielding all the questions we had to delivering and installing our doors which were second-to-none. Andre's professionalism was seen the night we signed the contract with him and it carries through to his entire team as well. They installed the doors beautifully and left the area they worked on spotless. I would highly recommend Oakville Windows & Doors to anyone who asks.     New Front Door

    We first met Andre at a Home Show in Mississauga, and were impressed with his professionalism and expertise. When we decided to replace our front door he made the choice very easy. The product and installation was second to none, and Andre did a great job of educating us on the finer points of the job. They ensured that every last detail was handled just right.
