    rugs, and furniture

    I have cats and dogs, and needed a thorough cleaning of my rugs and sofas both upstairs and downstairs. The FIve Star Staff were very courteous, professional and efficient at their work. I would highly recommend them.

    carpet cleaning

    I found the company online. My baby is coming back to play on our basement carpet next month. They did a deep and good cleaning. I will go for them next time~

    wet carpet , Mould and smell in our basement

    Five star cleaning has been called to come and take care of our wet carpets in our basement which I do not know how long and what happened. They were very quick to respond to my e-mail and set up appt for next day. They were ontime, went over the works need to be done and the cost. My husband and I agreed for them to start working right away. We were happy with their services and the cost. They did a very good job in drying , cleaning, disinfecting, and most of all the source of moisture, where it was coming, They removed all the moulds, We waited few days to see if the problem is comng back, but still dry and fresh and clean, well done job by Bob and his very professional crew. We are going to recommend them to others.

    Upholstery cleaning and scotch guarding

    We would like to thank Bob and his helpers for doing a very good job in cleaning and scotch guarding our furniture s recently. We just moved to new place and we wanted to clean and scotch guard our sofa sets, chairs . We called Five Star cleaning based on their online great reviews and customer satisfaction, Indeed, they were very nice people to deal with, Bob was very polite, very caring and professional with great attitude. We were happy to deal with them and liked their customer services. We already recommend them to our family and friends.

    Rug Cleaning and fringe repair Services

    Thank you so much Bob and his helper for wonderfully cleaning my 3 rugs and repairing beautifully one of the fringes that has been damaged by my cat. I was very happy with their great customer services from my e-mail inquiry until they delivered the rugs to me. The pick up and delivery was free and ontime as promissed. I could not ask for any better services. I am for sure going to recommend their very profassional and great services to others. Thank you guys,.

    Sofa set, rug Cleaning and Scotch Gaurding

    We Called Five Star cleaning to do our sofa set cleaning and scotch gaurding them. My mom gave me a rug that also needed cleaning and scotch gaurding as well. This rug was so precious and had lots of good memories within family. So I wanted to make sure it gets clean properly. They gave us estimate over the phone, we agreed for them to come in the next day, They were ontime and very prepared to work. Bob was able to clean them and got rid off all the stains and pet hairs from my sofas. He promissed to give me the life time free scotch gaurding for these sofas as long as I clean these sofas by their company. They were very professional and efficient in their job. Their customer services were great. I will gladly recommend them to others.

    After Flood Services

    We ended up with a wet carpet during the July 8th storm. I wish, I had called Bob right on that day; since he explained to us that we could have saved the carpet if they came right away. When they came, they checked around and explained the work; then cut the drywalls, and set up the machines for a 72-hour drying process. I recommend their services.

    Carpet and Duct Cleaning

    We had our carpets and ducts cleaned but are not happy with the service. The price quoted for carpet cleaning doubled when Bob arrived. Reason given for higher price is "additional" disinfecting, etc. but we felt price was increased because they knew we were in a time crunch to have carpets cleaned. In addition, there was a large stain on our carpets that was not completely removed. "Duct cleaning" just consisted of vacumming and "disinfecting" each of our vents, not the entire duct system from the furnace. We felt the duct cleaning was inadequate and misleading. If you are not a proper duct cleaning company don't advertise that you can provide the service. Dear Lisa, I do not appreciate the tone of your response. I did get your constant phone calls and voice messages at very inconvenient times. I have not had a chance to get back to you nor do I have any desire to at this point. Yes, we did agree to the services and paid for it in full, however, in hindsight we realized that the duct cleaning was not up to industry standard and we could have gotten proper duct cleaning for a similar price from other companies. Your technician told us that your methodology of "cleaning" was better, but we realized that was not true. They also missed a few vents and carpet stains. I am really busy and it is not a priorty for me to respond to you. I felt compelled to write this review only for the benefit of other users on Homestars to share my experience, not to get any benefit from it. If I had wanted a response from your company i would have contacted you before the review. Please stop harassing me with the constant phone calls as I do not want to deal with your company any further at this point. Thank you.

You agreed with the price and the services you received and you paid for it. We have different cleaning packages with obviously different price based on the cleaning needs. You choose what works for you. You paid for the services you ask for and needed based on your agreement. Then our technicians after the jod done , they showed you the areas cleaned . You did see the cleaning result and liked it and paid for the services with your agreement and signature on that day. Our technician were very surprised to hear this and they spend more that 3 hours for providing these services to you . They did not rush or were in a time crunch in providing services to youat all . They never do or did say they will clean the furnace?? We tried to contact you since your review on Monday Sept 10/2013 at least 5 times and left 2 messages for you to contact us to talk about this issue. I have not heard from you yet? Please give us a call to go over this as soon as possible. I have talk to my technicians and heard their story and I would like to hear yours too.     Carpet Cleaning

    I live in a town house that has four flights of stairs with light coloured carpet. The stairs get a lot of traffic and we have a dog that brings in dirt and has puked all over the carpet numerous times. Five Star was able to get out all of the stains and the carpet looks like new. It is a completely different colour. I would highly recommend using them.

    Flooded basement and water damage services

    What a nightmare? When you are on vacation and you hear your house is flooded. We were out of town when my Mom called me about the July 8 Toronto storm and our flooded basement. So my mom saw Five Star Flood Emergecy crew in our street dealing with other people's flood. She talk to Bob and explained the situation and Bob was nice enough to come and give her estimate. So after talking to Bob myself over the phone and going online checking their web site and reviews I gave him permission to take care of that as well. My mom was there on my behalf, they did an amazing job by the time we were back everything was back to normal. I would like to thank Bob again and again for trusting me over the phone and doing such an great job in my basement. We would for sure recommend them to others.
