    Disastrous move

    We recently moved from Edmonton to Kitchener and weren't impressed with Troy. All upfront correspondence was fine but then the problems started. They did not give me a pick-up time. On pick-up day I called repeatedly their office, was first told "in the afternoon", then "between 2-6 PM". The movers came at 7 PM. Our stuff did not arrive in Kitchener until 3 weeks later instead of 5-10 days! In between we heard over and over that the truck was delayed and they did not know where it was. Our delivery day was postponed again and again. Even once we had a delivery time booked they could not make it but did not tell us either! We accidentally found out through one of the many calls (many of them left unanswered) we gave them trying to find out what's going on. In the end we got our stuff. The boxes labelled fragile had definitely not been handled with care. We got a bit of compensation for all the hassle but I surely would not move with them again.

    Moving with Troy Moving. Best Movers Anywhere!!!

    I recently moved with Troy Moving from Vancouver to Montreal. When I was looking around for moving companies, I came across Troy Moving who sent me a very reasonable price and quote for moving and packing. After going back and forth with the moving representative about my move, she answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable with every aspect of the move. I chose them for my move and that is one of the best decisions that I could have made. I was very happy with the service starting from the pick-up right up until the delivery. The truck was a bit delayed at arrival, but we didn't mind, because we have been notified well in advance. The office staff was very friendly and the guys were great. They went beyond our expectations and the price was very reasonable. We had the full packing service, they crated one of our statues and everything arrived in order, with no exceptions whatsoever. Thanks to Troy Moving we are happily settled in our new home and I proudly taking this opportunity to give feedback on my experience.

    moving some furniture from Port Perry to B.C

    On October 15th we made arrangements for Troy Moving Company to come and pick up my sons bedroom set and 12 boxes of stuff from our house and ship it to BC. It was a rainy day and the guys worked quite quickly. My husband and I weighed everything before hand so we knew approx. what the cost would be. The bill came in a little higher then expected but still resonable. Sofia was in constant contact with us and I with her. The only problem we had was the bed board gota little scratched and we were told it would take 8 to 12 days to arrive and it actually arrived Nov 01 in BC. and delivered to my son on Nov 4th. Yes there were few bumps but over all good service. Thank you Sofia for everything

    Moving Services

    My family and I just moved from Regina to Toronto with the help of Troy Moving. I truly appreciate the sales representatives helping with my many many questions and arranging my move. I was already in Ontario and my wife was still in Regina with my young son. I appreciate how polite and careful were at the pick-up to make my wife comfortable. The delivery happened on the 1st as originally planned. They came in the morning so that we wouldn’t missing our elevator reservation and they were in an out beds assembled within 2 hours. Aside from small scratch on our filing cabinet everything else came in perfect shape. I have already recommended Troy Moving to my co-workers who are moving also from Regina to Toronto.

    Troy Transportation Moving and Storage - moving company

    Troy told us no problem moving my mother 2 hrs away on 2 Nov 11. At 3:30 pm Nov 1 Alice Hunter called and said the truck was making a detour 1 1/2 hrs away! Based upon what few items my mother had the quote was 1000 lbs, worst case 1200 lbs - highest charge $658. When they arrived to pick up there was already a load - about 1/2 of the truck space. My 84 year old mother sat in a kitchen chair in her apt ALL NIGHT, She had no bed. The movers never showed up... no one rang her intercom. They said they were there, my mother never left the apt. On Nov 3 Alice from Troy told us it was 2000 lbs at well over $900!!! Alice finally settled for $800. Part of the service was to place the furniture and erect the bed. They brought 3 easy chairs up and put the bedroom stuff against the wall. Said they were going out for a smoke. They took off and never came back. They DID NOT even put her bed up for her. The whole ordeal was a fiasco and VERY SHADY feeling. I would hate to think of some other senior going through the fear and uncertainty and total $$$ ripoff that my mother did with this company.

    Move from Newmarket to Brampton

    Move from Edmonton to Pickering

    Troy Moving helped me and my family move to Pickering from Edmonton, we didn't move too much stuff and didn't want to pay too much. We looked at many companies to find the best price, Troy had the best rating and the ladies in the office were very nice and easy to deal with, they always answered my questions on the same day and there was no extra waiting time for delivery. The men were very nice and polite, they put protection on our floors to keep them from getting scratched when the boxes and furniture came in. I would be happy to tell my friends and family members to use Troy Moving.

    Long Distance Move

    I would like to thank Troy Transportation for making my out of province move a stress-free event! A special thanks to Alice Hunter for always being available with my silly questions during the packing process! The movers were very diligent and took the time to break everything down and packaged it all in padded blankets individually; nothing was broken considering the distance of the move (from Ontario to Manitoba), and they arrived at my destination earlier than expected. Thank you Troy Transportation for facilitating my relocation! And thank you Alice!

    Move in Toronto (apartment to house)

    Both my wife and I were very pleased with professionalism of both office staff and the movers. They were genuinely concerned about about saving time and money which was much appreciated. I highly recommend Troy Transportation. It's hard to find a great moving company these days...look no further than Troy!

    Moving and Storage

    Moved with this company in June from Toronto to Calgary. We relocated to Calgary with our family and 3 kids. When the stuff arrived we had a bit of a problem with our apartment and they were kind enough to accommodate my storage needs. Even re-delivered the stuff back at no extra charges. I had good experience with both offices and the movers were great at both ends. Would recommend them to family and friends in a heartbeat! Great Service! Jodi Meer Calgary, AB
